I love simple places where the cuisine is traditional but you can feel the quality and the portions are abundant but not too much. This is the case of Rosà del Muiun, a hidden gem in Gaiazza. A feast for the palate in a familiar and welcoming place. Friendly but not intrusive owners and from appetizer to dessert everything is excellent at honest prices.

A superb experience, a quaint trattoria with friendly, attentive service in a warm, welcoming atmosphere, offering traditional dishes and fair prices. The antipasto's cured meats melted in your mouth, the lasagna and pesto mandilli (picages), and especially the desserts, bunet (a type of stuffed pasta) and panna cotta, were superb. The portions were generous, which is always a plus for those of us who aren't crazy about gourmet restaurants that are often described as "what about the rest? Did you fall for it?" We'll be back to try the pizza and the terrace overlooking the valley.

A family-run trattoria-pizzeria, typical of a small village in the hills above Genoa, simple and rustic. We only had pizza (restaurant for lunch, pizzeria for dinner). An excellent cheese focaccia with a little pesto (excellent), excellent pizza dough, and friendly service from the owner. Reservations are recommended because the place is small (inside and with a small terrace) and in the summer they open outdoor seating downstairs, but it's best to reserve on Saturdays and Sundays. We found the restaurant by chance, but it was a pleasant surprise! A unique place, decorated with unique details. Even the pulley that sends dishes down from the kitchen counter to the terrace is unique! The terrace is accessed by descending a charming staircase. Before the pizza, we had the fries, which were delicious! Light and tasty, a generous portion! Pizza....one of the best I've ever had!!!! Light dough, just the right thickness, excellent toppings! Delicious desserts, and generous portions too!!! The staff was incredibly kind! Definitely fair prices! I'll definitely be back!!!

Excellent is an understatement. I chose the vegan menu for its own sake. The food deserves an A+. The only flaw, for my taste, is that it's a bit too salty, but that could be me since I don't use salt at home. Oh, the prices are spectacular. I highly recommend it.
