We stumbled upon this restaurant by chance, and it was a pleasant discovery. We had lunch in the first room on the ground floor; stone walls, a wooden ceiling, and vintage photos create a beautiful atmosphere. As for the food, everything was delicious: we had veal with tuna sauce (fantastic), beef tartare with arugula pesto, maltagliati with Ligurian pesto, gnocchi with asparagus (the pasta is strictly homemade), and two desserts. The service was prompt and courteous. Definitely worth a try.

This is our second time here. Last time we ate inside, and this time on the terrace in the little square. Everything was delicious (tagliolini with porcini mushrooms, fried porcini mushrooms, sbira/tripe, and amaretti cake), well-cooked and presented by the knowledgeable and friendly staff. Excellent wine selection, and excellent value, I'd say. So...try it and believe it!

One of my favorite restaurants, Ligurian and Piedmontese cuisine, quality, homemade, and delicious ingredients. Worth it. Decent wine list. Welcoming, attentive service. The interior rooms are very beautiful, spread across multiple levels. In summer, you can dine outside. Also suitable for aperitifs. The menu is very seasonal, so it's worth trying again and again. A sure thing.

Ho scelto questo ristorante basandomi sui giudizi delle altre recensioni. Devo dire che confermo la qualità dei piatti, probabilmente mi sarei aspettato porzioni più abbondanti e con una presentazione un po' più curata. Rimane il fatto che sono rimasto soddisfatto. Ristorante in palazzo d'epoca, su tre piani, con interni ristrutturati. Accogliente. Pietra e mattoni a vista con pozzo visibile. Personale gentile. Piatti liguri/piemontesi ben preparati e presentati. Buon rapporto prezzo qualità. Per chi ama la trippa (come me)...da provare! Cantina ben fornita ed a vista. Lasciatevi consigliare per bianchi e rossi. Mi permetto una nota per il bagno: impeccabile. Aggiorno la mia recensione con un'osservazione che avevo dimenticato. Probabilmente tovaglia e tovagliette in cotone avrebbero fatto miglior figura. Questo "costa" una stella nel giudizio generale.

Ottimo cibo, ben cucinato e curato. Camerieri gentili. Pranzato all'esterno, ma anche l'interno è molto suggestivo. Cantina ben fornita e visibile. Prenotazione consigliatissima. Piccolo neo: piatti non proprio abbondanti.

Siamo capitati per caso ma ci torneremo ,personale gentile e molto professionale ,ambiente caratteristico e piacevole ,cucina curata e piatti della tradizione . Selezione di vini interessante Buon rapporto qualità prezzo .

A very pleasant alfresco lunch on a hot summer day. Nice, well cooked typical dishes from the Ligurian and Piedmontese traditions since the village is halfway amongst the provinces of Savona and Alessandria. The staff is friendly but hasty at times, they seems to be working flat out during peak season. I recommend very tasty gnocchi al pesto and stockfish. A reservation might be smart to place.

A very beautiful period building...with a well still containing water on the ground floor and a decent wine cellar in the historic center of Sassello in the province of Savona. We visited it on a motorcycle tour from Genoa. The staff are helpful and welcoming. The Ligurian/Piedmontese cuisine is well-crafted. We would have liked slightly larger portions and perhaps fewer bones in the stockfish salad. The flavor is excellent, though. The pesto gnocchi are also excellent. The price is average. There's free parking nearby, not too far away. Overall, a good place.

Abbiamo pranzato in tre due adulti e un bambino. Le porzioni erano mezze porzioni il pesto pallido come il sugo 375 ml di vino 15 euro Conto totale 60 euro e ci siamo alzati con la fame!
