Sono venuto a cena in questa trattoria con i colleghi di lavoro, ambiente molto familiare, tanta cordialità e simpatia da parte dei gestori. Qui ho trovato davvero i veri sapori della tradizionale cucina romana. Da non perdere.

Trattoria rustica, di nome e di fatto. Tutto molto buono, con sapori di una volta. Due carbonare, polpette al sugo, padellata piccante, cicoria e broccoletti, vino, pane, due acque, 55 euro. Servizio attento da osteria (ed è un complimento!) e ambiente rustico e molto curato. Locale in cui ci si trova bene!

You walk in and step back in time. Orders taken with pen and paper, menu on a chalkboard hanging on the wall. The carbonara was superb, the tart fresh from the oven. Delicious! Make a reservation, because there were no free tables at 1:00 PM.

The place I love. Its name suggests it: it's nothing less than a trattoria serving the best and most authentic Roman cuisine, respecting true culinary tradition. It doesn't aspire to star-studded restaurants, but simply aims to allow you to eat as well as you would at home, alone or with friends. Excellent food, very attentive and friendly service, in a charming and simple setting.

We had dinner at this trattoria thanks to a friend who lives in Rome. It's an old-fashioned trattoria where you can feel right at home. Generous portions, both in size and seasoning, with a true Roman flavor. Quality ingredients. Excellent value for money. It's a shame it's not close to home!

A trattoria like it used to be. Roman cuisine, a genuine atmosphere, simple, warm, efficient service. Delicious dishes; superb carbonara matriciana gricia, tripe meatballs, and on Fridays, mouth-watering cod with potatoes. The only drawback is that you always have to reserve a table. Otherwise, you'll have to rely on luck, but it takes a lot of luck to get a table. The restaurant is located in the Petrelli district, a place that doesn't feel like Rome, but more like a village. Easy parking along the street.

The pasta was really tasty — clearly made with quality and care. I also want to share my experience using the service shown in the photo. I was pleasantly surprised by how easy it is to track my diet with it. Everything’s simple and intuitive — now I use it all the time and highly recommend it.

This is so authentic, so delicious, and so cute. It’s for sure a local’s stop, in fact the kind (SUPER KIND) people inside asked how we even found this place! It was a super memorable experience and very traditional. We enjoyed daily specials and pasta dishes. Excellent fresh bread. Excellent service (not super fast, but again it’s a local’s lunch stop so they are relaxed). Nice bathroom too and easy parking on the nearby streets. Highly recommend if you need a place between the airport and Rome to avoid the crowds and have a true, Italian meal.

This was an absolute gem! It was the real Italian experience (the owner even had to get a neighbour to translate our order). The pasta was delicious I would recommend the Ragu and the dessert were Amazing! Definitely worth a visit

A true Roman trattoria. No menus, no QR codes...just a simple blackboard to read the dishes on. Simple, typically Roman service. Traditional dishes cooked to perfection. Authentic ingredients. Limited seating, so reservations are recommended. Although a bit far from the city center, it's definitely worth a visit!

Traditional and popular styled trattoria (tavern kind of) in Rome's suburb. Very short menu yet well cooked and fed. Family run, the service is ok and confidentially direct. Some waiting time for the food to be served, better to reserve in advance as the place is very small and often crowded toward the w.e. (Sundays closed I guess) Very convenient prices.

This is what a family business restaurant used to be 25 years ago in Rome. It's like travelling on a time machine. Few dishes but with the genuine flavor that brings you memory back. A must go.

Arrivare con grandi aspettative, alle 19.50 di un giovedì sera in una trattoria di una borgata difficile da raggiungere. Apri la porta, locale totalmente vuoto, con tavoli apparecchiati e altri no: appena aperto dalla cucina escono in tre. Un uomo ci guarda da capo a piedi malissimo, poi sbuca credo sua moglie che ci guarda proprio un po’ raccapricciata. “Salve, si può? Siamo in due” “E noi semo in 4”, e poi silenzio. Ancora silenzio. Sbuca un uomo più giovane che ci guarda “scusate, funziona solo su prenotazione?” “E secondo teeee” risponde l’uomo anziano. Giriamo i tacchi e ce ne andiamo. Molto felici di non aver lasciato nemmeno un euro a persone che più che lavorare con il pubblico sembrano interagire con una piara e quindi la sua broda. Forse avremmo dovuto capirlo dall’adesivo “giovinezza” sulla porta. Sconsigliato con tutto il cuore. Voletevi bene e voletee ai vostri soldi: qui sarete imbruttiti da prima di entrare e trattati con sprezzo

Personally, I found the food not to be up to my expectations. The amatriciana sauce was salty, the penne all'arrabbiata lacked parsley (!!), and the chicken with peppers lacked sauce, even though it was chicken cacciatore with roasted peppers thrown in. The desserts were good, but a bit cheap. Three stars for the friendliness of the owners, who have been running it for years. The nice thing is that it's a real trattoria, like the ones of the past that I always seek out.
