An amazing Trattoria with lots of story, family run. We had a great lunch, the fried sage leave was surprisingly good! We also had an amazing pasta, very good recommendations, and a great wine list. The service was also excellent and attentive.
A truly enjoyable dining experience from Every perspective! Besides the menu selections there were a number of additional specials so we tasted several appetizers that were all scrumptious. We chose two pastas from the menu - a bucatini with sardines and spaghetti with cuttlefish and bottarga that were both delicious. We finished with the best cannoli either of us has ever had, a very generous serving to share. The wine selections are extensive and we asked for advice on a Sicilian wine to accompany our meal, and were thrilled with their recommendation. I HIGHLY recommend this restaurant and you need to book ahead, because it’s a popular establishment.
Best dinner I had in Palermo, hands down. The restaurant serves outstanding fresh seafood, deeply rooted in tradition yet approached with a contemporary twist. The whole experience felt vibrant and authentic. The waiters and sommeliers were a real highlight—kind, attentive, and embodying true Palermitan hospitality. The raw seafood appetizers and the cannolo were unforgettable. Absolutely recommended.

Lovely midsize restaurant a short distance from Via Labertà in a nice neighborhood. Clean, calm and attractive interior with prompt professional service and a wonderful menu. The food is very good, and the prices very reasonable! I wish I was hungrier when I went in! I shall return.

Extraordinary place to try and enjoy honest and well done food, cooked with local ingredients of the highest quality. Recommended without hesitation. The family that runs it is very knowledgable and friendly, make sure to ask for the daily specials and ask for Sicilian wines to pair the food with. This is one of the best restaurant I have eaten in during my time in Palermo. This cozy restaurant has an impressive wine selection. The food was great and I loved the raw prawns. The squid ink pasta was the only underwhelming dish, but well compensated by the excellence of others. Worth a visit.
We had an unforgettable dining experience. The sardine bucatini, bottarga spaghetti, spaghetti nero, and red raw shrimp were all exceptional! The service from the brothers was outstanding; they made us feel incredibly welcome and ensured our evening was enjoyable. The ambiance is charming and cozy, reminiscent of a warm and inviting den. Highly recommend for an amazing meal and exceptional service! This was our favorite meal in Italy. We will be back when you release your merch :)
I do a lot of research on restaurants before I try them, cross-referencing various sites, as well as reading blogs. Corona Trattoria in the Politeama shows up on many top 10 lists. I was very much looking forward to dining there. And I was not disappointed! We started our meal with my favorite street food, panelle & crocche (chick pea fritters & potato croquettes) + an order of tuna tartare, to die for. For main courses, I had spaghetti alla vongole and my friend had the capone (mahi mahi). Both were delicious! And our desserts were spectacular, I had a cannolo from Piana degli Albanesi (considered to be THE best cannolo in Sicily) and she had the almond semifreddo with chocolate sauce. Corona has an extensive wine list; we chose DiBella’s cataratto. The very charming Corona family runs the restaurant; the service was outstanding. They went out of their way to make us feel at home. Alessandro also introduced us to a wonderful local digestivo made from alloro (bay leaf). I’ll be back. And often.
Best Pasta Tonno i‘ve ever had, the quality of the ingredients could be felt from the olive oil and the bread. The host and his father were friendly and nice. The place is just awesome and i‘d recommend it to everyone who is looking for a non touristic quality meal. The prices might be a bit steep for some so be aware of that.

Corona Trattoria in Palermo is a must-visit if you’re after a trendy, upscale dining experience with a cool, welcoming vibe. The interior is sleek and modern, creating a fresh backdrop for what is truly a family-run gem. The staff, including the junior managers (the owners’ sons), are super friendly and articulate—they even break down the menu in English, which makes the whole experience that much smoother. I dove into the tempura-style artichokes and seafood salad loaded with calamari, and they absolutely nailed it. For the mains, the fritto misto, black ink pasta, and a hearty minestrone with langoustine all delivered incredible flavors, and don’t even get me started on the desserts—they’re a perfect sweet finish to a fantastic meal.
In this Sicilian gem of a fish spot, a mighty front house team warmly embraced our party of 20. No tunes played, but fear not, the wine list soared to the occasion. The antipasti sang harmoniously and hit all the right notes on the palate. Though the main courses held their ground, they yearned for a touch of finesse that one anticipates from a top-notch establishment. The concise menu, however, won my heart. Definitely worth a try.
