Pranzo di lavoro. Tutto perfetto personale simpatico e disponibile.menu di lavoro vario e ben eseguito speso il giusto!
Cibo ottimo, porzioni abbondanti e servizio cordiale e affabile, super consigliato
A wonderful surprise, with a traditional yet sophisticated menu, family-run with excellent service. Definitely worth a try in the warmer months given its proximity to the river. Well done!
We stopped for a small aperitivo around five, sampling the mixed cured meats and fried gnocchi, drinking a spritz, and a cup of tea. It's a family-run restaurant, where they host wedding receptions, communions, and other events, as well as a set menu during the week. You can tell they have a true passion for their work, which they've been doing for many years, and the hospitality of the family who runs it shines through in every little gesture. Thank you for the warm welcome! We hope we'll have another opportunity to return with friends. It's also a perfect spot for lovely walks along the Ticino River; from here, after just a few meters, you're on a charming stretch of the river and can walk along the path for many kilometers.
A delightful, simple atmosphere, a charming location... I discovered it by chance during a motorcycle ride, and it was a truly pleasant surprise. The cuisine is homemade, yet delicious and well-prepared. The service provided by the owner and his daughter is punctual and friendly, and let's not forget the lady in the kitchen: well done! It feels like home!!! Highly recommended for those who love authentic flavors and atmospheres!
Excellent! Food, location, cleanliness, atmosphere. We went with friends last Saturday. We loved it. We ate everything from the priest's hat with polenta, to the bread of the dead, from the Milanese steak to the "cassuola"... to the venison stew. Highly recommend. We'll be back... maybe for lunch to enjoy the beautiful park outside the restaurant. The waitress was lovely and kind. The same goes for the owner and the chef.
A truly enjoyable experience. Surrounded by nature, with plenty of space, even for children! Highly recommended both for the authentic cuisine and the charming setting, and for the added value of Greta's service: a highly knowledgeable sommelier... a true wine professional. We'll definitely be back!
Short distance from Milan, I definitely highly recommend, the asparagus pasta was fabulous, made with fresh ingredients and very creamy, the second course was also great, but nothing could beat the fresh pasta served first 🤤🥰 but the overwhelming Tiramisu left me speechless 😏 all combined with the super helpful and friendly staff, I definitely recommend to enjoy the food here and take a little short walk to the riverside. A+++
Mery sent us a preview of the Mother's Day menu via WhatsApp. It was a family lunch for 16 of us, all adults, and everyone was very satisfied with both the dishes and the drinks (house red and white wine). The staff was very kind and knowledgeable. The portions were generous. We'll definitely be back to try the à la carte menu.
I went there with a friend during a weekday stroll in the area. The location was excellent, just steps from the Ticino River. We ate deliciously, and the service was excellent. The lunch menu for €13 includes a first course, second course, and side dish. It also includes water, wine, and coffee. The mother cooks and her daughter serves. Both are friendly and eager to accommodate guests' requests. I not only recommend it, but we'll be back soon.
We found the restaurant by looking at The Fork for a time around 2 PM. We preferred to call normally and arrived at this beautiful, renovated, family-run place on the banks of the Ticino River. Everything was delicious, spectacular cured meats and excellent first courses. Kudos also for your kindness! We'll be back!!

To all trip advisor’s real travellers, don’t waste time looking at the other reviews, they definitely don’t make justice to this amazing experience. The overall experience was wonderful ticking all…
Buon ristorante vicino al Ticino. Buoni piatti abbondanti, buon ambiente e prezzi contenuti. Consigliato.
It's not my usual style of place. But I want to review it based on my experience, not my personal tastes. The place is located at the end of a road almost right next to the river. It has convenient parking and a small garden that can be used for some photos. Inside, it's furnished like a cabin. It has a slightly retro style that could perhaps be updated a bit. I found the staff friendly. It's in keeping with the type of place. I didn't really enjoy the food. But it was at an organized dinner, so I can't judge it too highly. Overall, I liked it. It definitely deserves the 4 stars.
In the summer, it's a very relaxing and atmospheric restaurant surrounded by greenery. The owners are very friendly. The restaurant is Milanese-style. It's only partially renovated... prices aren't cheap, but they're affordable. I'll definitely be back. The seared rib eye steak was delicious!
...for now, I'm only giving it three stars, especially because of its location, which I appreciated for the first time last Sunday, January 23, 2022. Following the warm welcome, the restaurant was already closed and I didn't have lunch (it was 5:17 PM), and based on the menu, I'll see if I can improve my rating. For now, thanks.
The location is beautiful and the place is well-maintained. There's a large garden, suitable for children, ample parking, and the opportunity to take a lovely stroll along the Ticino River right nearby. The menu needs a complete overhaul. There were no typical products, but seafood and Florentine steaks that have nothing to do with the place. Very little choice for vegetarians. There was no sparkling wine. We had house appetizers with cheeses (only one), cured meats (Tuscan), and a strange thing they improperly call gnocco fritto (fried gnocco), which actually had nothing to do with fried gnocco, not even remotely. It was a very poor-quality schiacciatina, probably a frozen product that was then fried. Four pieces of that cost €4... Then we had a risotto with saffron and raspberries (just on the surface, not inside, and it tasted like nothing) and two fried seafood platters, which, however, were fried well. The desserts are good, especially the meringue pie. We spent over €140 for three of us. Very expensive for the quality.
I tried to call for a reservation, I had a hard time getting an answer, and when they do, a very rude lady answers, speaking arrogantly as if you were wasting her time, and then hanging up without even letting me speak. I should add that I called on a Thursday evening at 6:30 pm and on a Friday around 11 am, so I assume these are quiet times for a restaurant, and on both calls she behaved like this. I don't know how they do it, but this kind of behavior doesn't exist. But I've never been there in my life and I will advise everyone against it!
Nothing to complain about the atmosphere and service BUT BE CAREFUL WITH THE BILL Let me explain my review Five menus for €15 (including a first course, second course, side dish) Four of us ordered only the second course and side dish Added a second course and side dish (side dishes that were truly unpresentable in terms of quantity) It's not our choice to order only the second course...ok, it's fine I'll add a second course, counting it as a full menu...that brings it to €90 Then the rest listed below cost €142 A mixed platter for two 3 desserts 2 liters of house wine (in a carafe, mind you) 2 waters and 4 coffees, which are usually on the menu anyway...let's leave them out Total for the lavish lunch €46 and change each Now you do the math Look elsewhere, it's better.
We arrived at 1:40 PM for lunch, having been notified of the time when we booked due to work constraints. They brought us the menu of the day (cabbage with polenta, venison stew with polenta, and cotechino with polenta and lentils) and the à la carte menu. We ordered a central appetizer (1 for 4 people) and a first course each. The waitress noticed a 25-30 minute wait for the first course. Afterwards, we wanted to order the menu of the day, but the cabbage was out. So, we ordered 2 cotechino and 2 stews. After a few seconds, the waitress came back saying the cotechino was out. It's a shame that the table that started lunch with us received everything, and plenty of it (perhaps because they were friends). Total disappointment, especially since it was a rehearsal for where to celebrate the wedding.
Nice location, perfect for lunch with children. Warm welcome from the owner, his daughter, and the waiter. Set menu with two courses for €28 and three courses for €33, excluding cover charge and drinks. There were seven people at the table, including two children, plus a baby and a dog. Before the bill, I would have given it 5 stars. But based on what we consumed, the price doesn't match. The prices are unclear, neither at the table nor at the cash register. Out of seven people: Four ate two courses (28 for 4) One of us ate one course (it's impossible to determine her total cost). One boy had a portion of fries and a cutlet. (Price not listed). One girl only had one portion of fries. (Price not listed). 2 half liters of wine (1 white and 1 red). 1 Coca-Cola. 1 peach tea. No dessert or coffee. When we went to the register, the bill came to €257. We split it between five of us, for a total of €53 each. At the time, we didn't have the time to analyze the bill. We weren't given an itemized receipt. After 15 hours, we decided to contact the establishment, not intending to dispute the charge but to understand how the final price was calculated. We spoke with the owner, politely asking her the prices of each course/drink, but she rudely hung up on us. We called a second time, and the lady, with the same arrogance, refused to clarify anything. She even accused us of taking away three slices of cold cuts, which begs the question... After I paid for my appetizer, I have no idea how much, since she seemed annoyed by the statement she made on the phone, what would she have done with those slices: 1) thrown them away? (What a waste) 2) did you eat them? 3) saved them to offer them to a future customer? In short... We didn't get a detailed price list for our meals.... But after looking around, the very kind lady charged EVERYONE €28.... That means 28 x 7 = €196 257 - 196 = €61 Leaving aside the fact that 3 people DID NOT consume two courses. €61 is what 2 half liters of house wine + 1 Coke + 1 peach tea are? Absurd to charge 1 portion of fries €28!! Absurd to charge €28 for an appetizer Absurd to charge €28 for a cutlet at the supermarket and €28 for a portion of fries Absurd to ask for €257 without giving the customer an itemized receipt. IT'S ABSURD NOT TO BE AVAILABLE TO PROVIDE CLARIFICATION TO THE CUSTOMER. I AM RESPONDING TO YOUR ANSWER: I'm sorry, but we have completely different ideas about pricing clarity. I've attached the menu here. I want to clarify that the prices to be listed are ALL the money we customers have to pay for any service, from a drink to various other items and a cover charge. Your menu only lists the set menu. As for the appetizers and the OCTOPUS (not octopus...bad!), it was a cold cuts appetizer (3 portions) and an octopus salad (3 portions). The fries were necessarily double, one for each child (1+1=2). We never discussed the portion size issue. The DETAILED receipt was never received. I understand we also have different ideas regarding politeness: 1st, if one of your customers hasn't finished a conversation (calm, totally informative) and you say goodbye and hang up, it's the same as hanging up on someone. 2nd, if you don't want dogs, it would be appreciated if you made this known at the entrance to your establishment. I've never experienced such discriminatory behavior towards dogs.... Moreover, after your statement, I understand you don't know much about dogs... But you're making things up because my dog is a Weimaraner, hairy, as big as a lion, and... There's absolutely nothing wrong with drooling. I feel like I've already wasted too much time and MONEY!!! With this, I wish you peace of mind and continued hard work. PS: It's your conscience speaking.
