Our experience at L’Osteria della Corte was absolutely wonderful and truly memorable. Despite not having a reservation, we were received with genuine kindness and professionalism — something we deeply appreciated. From the very first moment, the staff was attentive, warm, and clearly committed to delivering the highest level of service and care. The menu is magnificent, thoughtfully crafted, and executed with excellence. We started with a pumpkin cream soup that was simply divine — rich, comforting, and perfectly balanced. For the main courses were graciously served a tortelloni with black truffle and Comté fondue, which was outstanding: elegant, flavorful, and unforgettable. Every detail contributed to a remarkable dining experience, from the quality of the ingredients to the attentive yet discreet service. This is the kind of restaurant that leaves a lasting impression and reminds you why Italian cuisine is celebrated worldwide. We highly recommend making a reservation in advance — we were very lucky to get a table. Our sincere thanks to Chef Silvia and the entire wonderful staff for such an exceptional evening. We will most certainly return.
We ate here on October 21,2025 and after 2 weeks in La Spezia and several days in Florence this was our most memorable meal! The wonderful nuances of the flavors were a treat to the palette. We had the most flavorful beef carpaccio we have ever had as a first course. Our pasta dishes were amazing like the spaghetti with garlic oil , chilli pepper, shrimp and barrata. The stuffed parpadelle was amazing in taste and preparation! The beef fillet with that divine sauce was so tasty! I am dreaming of the Pistachio semifreddo dessert with lavender sauce which was, not only delicious but presented on the most beautiful platter! If in the area I would not miss this experience!
Lovely dinner in a beautiful setting, stylish and filled with character. There is a touch of history that contributes to the experience. The cocktails were quite memorable - The Nox Out is definitely a favorite from now on! The food is delicious and elegantly presented. Many thanks to the Chef who created a masterpiece. We had a wonderful time for dinner. They accommodated us with a reservation (by email) less than 24 hours in advance, with our baby. We arrived to a table already prepared with a high chair in the garden, and to our delight there were other children and babies, so we definitely felt welcomed and in a family-friendly environment. They even had a changing table in the bathroom, which has been something very rare so far on our trip. The service was stellar, very kind and attentive, and the food itself was also extremely delicious and creative. Incredible wine selection. Our favorite restaurant by far during our stay in La Spezia, well worth every penny :)
This has been the best meal in Italy so far (and the priciest!). They are very aware of how to accommodate gluten allergies. Today's food porn: Osteria della Corte in La Spezia. Don't show up without a reservation, even for lunch. The servers are very kind, have the right sense of humor, and navigated us through our choices. It was so good, in fact, I need to share the entire list of our meal: Purple prawn carpaccio with focaccia crumble and tomato (so good). Spaghetti with oil, garlic, chili, prawns and burrata Organic Fassona fillet with “caffè de Paris” sauce (yellow curry?!) Szechuan Pepper Ice Cream with Coconut Bonbon and Liquid Liquorice Bronte pistachio semifreddo with lavender sauce “Custard” with almonds biscuits(amaretti), rum and chocolate Also, this is the only place that actually offered us gf bread. It was just so nice to not have some generic, dry, bad tasting pre-manufactured effort. They confessed they didn't bake it themselves, but it was so good we asked for another basket which they obliged. All this came to 155€, so that's pretty pricey, but we'd do it again. And again and again. I'd even say go out of your way to eat here even if La Spezia is not in your plan.
We ate here twice in the same day. It was our best restaurant in La spezia. The food and desserts were delicious and the wine list was extensive. The owner was very welcoming and the service was excellent. Especially for dinner when we came on a rainy day, we couldn't find a taxi back to the hotel. Even though the restaurant was busy and there were many customers, the owner drove us to the hotel. So we are happy to say thank you very much for your kindness and great food.
Family trip We arrive the restaurant without reservation,the gentleman still welcomes us . The atmosphere was nice,food were perfect especially the Gnocchi and the service was excellent. We all had a great time for the dinner,it’s worth it! Thank you so much!
Excellent restaurant with high quality food and super friendly staff. Definitely worth the price. Both pasta were amazing and the octopus was one of the best ones I’ve ever had.
The restaurant will be a wonderful choice if you want to try great cocktails as well as seafood dishes—all the ingredients harmonize and complement each other nicely. Unfortunately, if you are vegan like my girlfriend, it becomes more challenging, as this is clearly not the restaurant's specialty. However, it was very pleasant when a very polite and discreet waiter asked if we enjoyed everything and suggested trying another dish from the vegan selection. Later, we were also served a complimentary dish from the chef. And before we left the restaurant, the waiter gently helped my girlfriend put on her coat- very gentleman! The service is truly top-notch—it's a pity that tips can't be included in the card payment and must be left in cash, so be prepared for that.
Great food. This was my first time in La Spezia and I thanked my lucky stars that i came to this restaurant. I love all the dishes. The service was top class. I went with a friend and we ordered all dishes to share. Still we were surprised when the restaurant helped us split our food into separate dishes for each person. So in the photos below, the food is just half portion. Very thoughtful indeed!
My wife and I celebrated our 20th wedding anniversary at this location and the food was nothing short of spectacular! We made our reservations in advance to assure ourselves seating at noon and we're very glad we did so as it filled up quite quickly. We had the pairing menu. The food was simply incredible! We learned also that the day after our anniversary they were celebrating their 20th year in business, congratulations! Thank you for making us feel welcome and for the great meal.
This Michelin Guide restaurant is probably the one you should not miss if you are visiting La Spezia. It really serves some fine dining and exquisite Italian dishes. We had a 5 course tasting menu and a duck breast with foie gras. All the dishes served were absolutely delightful. The flavours were nicely balanced and plating was exquisite. I can totally understand why this restaurant is so highly rated in La Spezia. It's recommended to get a table reservation prior to visiting. We were so lucky to reach early and managed to get a seat for 2, but we saw a number of guests not being able to dine in due to full capacity. Pricing wise, reasonable for a fine dining restaurant. The five course tasting menu cost 65 euros and I left feeling full and satisfied. Highly recommended if you are in La Spezia.
The tasting menu with wine pairing is a must. Such an incredible variety and very satisfying experience. Everything is prepared with great ingredients, fresh, tasty. The cocktail menu is something else, with such bold combinations. A great start to your meal. I was introduced to such great wines. Definitely recommend it!
Very enjoyable and relaxed Top Chef culinary experience. Dined off the 5 course tasting 60€ and wine paired 30€ menu, seasonal creative dishes - especially enjoyed the ravioli and octopus. Well paired wines by the Sommelier who also served. Wine cellar you can tour off the back courtyard.

Inspiring restaurant, very professional service. I had the best pumpkin soup I ever had in my life. If such a simple dish can be sublimed then you know you’re in good hands and the cook knows what he’s doing! However I don’t know what happened about the duck breast with foie gras I had. It was overcooked and awfully dry. I was very disappointed and frustrated but I ate it. Then we asked for the check and I’ve mentioned the issue I had with my duck. The appetiser red prawn carpaccio was impressive. Ordered duck breast and pistacchio semifreddo for main dish and dessert, both decent but not exceptional. The staff is friendly, but we expect a Michelin-starred restaurant to provide a more attentive service, such as offering refills of water and wine without guests needing to ask for them. p.s. Thanks for the restaurant’s reply correcting me that the restaurant is not starred (just on Michelin Guide), perhaps the above is exactly why.
The food was excellent. I ordered the grilled octopus and the shrimp pasta, and both dishes were delicious and well-prepared. The flavors were spot on. The staff was friendly and welcoming, making the dining experience pleasant from start to finish. The only reason I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is that the prices were on the higher side. While the quality of the food was great, it did feel a bit pricey. That said, if you don’t mind spending a bit more for a quality meal, I would definitely recommend this place

At first we went into the restaurant with warm welcome, after serving the food and so …the service was a bit not so happy… and just after the payment (I gave tips) but the lady took quite a time to settle my bill and just throw the resit to me on the table. I’m like what ? The food was quite nice.
Food is tasty for sure according to my taste, physical environment is nice, but service manner is cold, seems no one is willing to serve the customer in a smiling face. If only taste is needed, could try, but if need both taste and service, may not be the best option based on my experience. By the way, dessert cookies n cream turned out to be too sweet

High end prices but the food was a huge disappointment. Both pasta and meat were under seasoned, bland yet very heavy from butter or oil. Poor cooking for an 80 euro per person meal. Girl server was nice but the man server was not very friendly. Steak was dull and bland soft yet dry and needing seasoning. We cannot recommend. Mediocre service never ask about the food and provide only a tiny amount if olive oil hardly enough to enjoy. Uncomfortable dinner for lack of air circulation since the did not activate the ac it was stuffy and hot.
