La Taverna del Lago è stata una scoperta meravigliosa a Desenzano. Siamo ritornati perché abbiamo mangiato un pesce di lago freschissimo e preparato con grande cura, che esalta i sapori autentici del Garda come l'antipasto del lago e i bigoli con le sarde. L'ambiente è accogliente e familiare, e il personale è gentile e attento.
Cibo ottimo, si sente la qualità della materia prima. Il pesce era buono, la frittura leggera, la pasta cotta al punto giusto. Il semifreddo con un goccio di grappa era una meraviglia. I proprietari simpaticissimi, accoglienti e gentili. Mi è piaciuto tantissimo anche il quadro dei Mangiatori di patate dipinto sul muro, davvero bello. Anche l’olio che usano è di qualità, davvero buono! Un posto dove si mangia bene e ci si sente a casa.
Se volete assaporare piatti tipici della cucina del Garda a due passi dal lago, è il posto giusto! Eccellenti il luccio con la polenta e il risotto con la tinca. Non manca il pesce di mare, delizioso il calamaro. Personale estremamente cordiale, servizio impeccabile e il rapporto qualità prezzo è ottimo. Io e mio marito torneremo senza esitazioni, lo consiglio a tutti gli amanti del buon cibo!
Siamo stati a Rivoltella, in occasione del mio compleanno, ed abbiamo scelto di pranzare in questo ristorante, situato a due passi dal lago. Location molto bella e curata, sia all' interno che all' esterno. Il Titolare Francesco, ci ha accolti in modo molto cortese e si è reso subito disponibile a soddisfare ogni ns esigenza, come anche il resto del personale. Cibo ottimo, molto curato e porzioni abbondanti, vengono subito molto apprezzate. Pesce fresco di giornata, materie prime di alta qualità, sono le caratteristiche di questo ristorante, unitamente alla gentilezza, cordialità e l'impegno speso a soddisfare le esigenze degli ospiti, fanno di questo locale , una forza eneguagliabile. Consigliatissimo!
Quando andiamo a fare un giro sul lago di Garda cerchiamo sempre un ristorante che si distingua nella marea di offerte turistiche e che offra un menù tipico e non una panoramica industriale della cucina italiana. Anche questa volta l'abbiamo trovato in questa piccola e tranquilla trattoria che ci ha offerto piatti a base di pesce di lago preparati in modo eccellente, che ci ha soddisfatto appieno. Partiti da un antipasto di pesce di lago con luccio, tinca, trota e sarde ci siamo poi divisi tra un risotto alla tinca (superlativo) e sarde alla griglia squisite. Costi contenuti e comparabili con quelli di agriturismi e trattorie del mantovano che per essere in località turistica sul Garda e un ulteriore plus. Ambiente accogliente e personale alla mano che ci ha messo subito a nostro agio. Ritorneremo.
Sono stata a pranzo/cena diverse volte (in totale 4 volte) e in ogni occasione è stato super. Consiglio assolutamente i bigoli con le sarde di lago, l'impepata di cozze (sia in bianco che al pomodoro), i paccheri al pomodorino Pachino, stracciatella di bufala e zeste di Limone del Garda, il crudo di gambero e il mio comfort food per eccellenza: le tagliatelle al ragù! Per concludere un golosissimo ed irrinunciabile tiramisù (preso ogni volta) Buonissimo! Personale disponibile e location a due passi dal lago. Tornerò sicuramente!
La Taverna del Lago è un localino storico che si conferma sempre una garanzia. Ci vado spesso per la loro paella, che trovo sempre eccellente. È un posto che consiglio vivamente per chi cerca qualità e tradizione.
Siamo finiti qui per caso, dopo un aperitivo li vicino e ci siamo trovati benissimo fin da subito. I piatti sono molto buoni e il servizio è ottimo. Veramente consigliato +++ Torneremo sicuramente!
La location è molto semplice, il servizio adeguato.. ma la cucina è superlativa!! Abbiamo preso l'antipasto di pesce di lago e siamo rimasti deliziati! La zuppa di pesce di lago buonissima e i bigoli con le sarde mi han fatto fare un tuffo nel passato. Perfetto rapporto qualità/prezzo. Lo consiglio e tornerò sicuramente.

Ci siamo recati oggi presso questo ristorante. Super consigliato, piatti di pesce ottimi e anche la location molto tranquilla e rilassante. Torneremo sicuramente.
Secondo me il locale gode di una buona posizione, di passaggio per arrivare al lago e con un parcheggio a fianco. Mi sono trovata bene, il personale è molto gentile e il cibo mi è sembrato fresco. È la prima volta che mangio pesce di lago, quindi non ho termini di paragone. Abbiamo pagato 25 euro a testa.
Abbiamo avuto il piacere di pranzare nuovamente alla Taverna del Lago di Desenzano del Garda e l'esperienza è stata semplicemente meravigliosa! Abbiamo optato per il pesce di lago e la scelta si è rivelata eccellente: piatti freschi, cucinati alla perfezione e dal sapore autentico. Siamo rimasti davvero molto soddisfatti dalla qualità del cibo. Oltre all'ottima cucina, il servizio è stato assolutamente Top! Il personale si è dimostrato non solo molto gentile, ma anche attento, cortese e professionale. Ci siamo sentiti coccolati per tutto il tempo. Un ambiente accogliente, cibo squisito e un servizio impeccabile: un mix perfetto per un pranzo indimenticabile sul Lago di Garda.
È stata una bellissima scoperta. Siamo stati lo scorso sabato con famiglia ed amici. Il locale semplice ed accogliente ha una graziosa piazzetta antistante con scorci del lago e una viuzza che scende al lungolago pedonale. Abbiamo mangiato piatti tipici del luogo, con ingredienti di altissima qualità, porcini freschi, luccio locale, olio eccezionale. La ciliegina sulla torta è stata la simpatia e cordialità di Frank, il gestore della taverna, che ha saputo assecondare le nostre richieste sempre con il sorriso sulle labbra ed i suoi divertenti aneddoti. La Taverna è un locale tranquillo e ben curato con posti sia all’interno che all’esterno in una piazzetta caratteristica. Ad accogliervi troverete il proprietario Francesco che vi farà sentire subito a vostro agio. Personale cordiale, gentile e servizio impeccabile. Qualità molto alta degli ingredienti con una sapiente preparazione dei piatti fanno di questo ristorante un’esperienza da ripetere. Tiramisù da leccarsi i baffi. Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo. Sicuramente torneremo presto.

We called in to La Taverna del Lago for dinner after reading good reviews. The waitress was really friendly and helpful. I ordered spaghetti with clams and the wife ordered sliced beef with potatoes. The food arrived quite quickly and we washed it down with a bottle of local red wine. Both were very nice and we will certainly come back again, thank you
I visited Francesco‘s Taverna due to a short holiday - twice. Highly recommended for local seafood! The service is great & friendly. The spaghetti and the fish were perfect and even the tiramisu was a five star ⭐️ dessert. I will come back in the future.
We came before noon closing but still got service and food. Very nice staff. The food was incredibly good. We got calamari 🦑 and coregone 🐟. Both dishes were perfect 👌

Everyone here was very friendly in general. I brought my dog with me and they were so helpful and accomodating to him too. The food was great, for a very reasonable price. It was a very special day for me and dinner at this restaurant was the cherry on top. I am more than willing to visit again would like to try the paella next time.

I consider this a gem that I treasure the most, this one was the closest to my hotel (Acquaviva del Garda) so I said why not book in this restaurant, I expected tourists that eats here but it's a local and not too busy spot where you can enjoy in peace your own food. Also the staff really friendly. Highly recommended.
The food was super delicious, we ordered mixed appetizers of lake fish, Black tagliolini with crab and scallops and Panna cotta. It was the first time I eat such amazing sea food meal with perfect service and reasonable price.
One of the best places which I visited with Family (ever). Menu was full and we wanted ordered everything:) really! Menu was showed in 4 languages (Italian, French, German, English). Price was funny - maxim 16€. The crew was very helpful. Young lady explain every food in English so we didn’t make mistake. Big choice of Italian wines - spectacular! Separate menu for dessert! We were delighted everything, but first view is ordinary, around 09.00 PM was full of people. They accepted credit card - there is “coperto” I WOULD LIKE TO BACK THERE

Ci e' stato consigliato dagli amici del vicino museo XX secolo ww2 che si trova di fronte. Il locale ha posti interni ed esterni e si trova a due passi dal lago. Comodo parcheggio, idoneo anche per chi ha problemi a camminare. Si mangia bene a prezzi in linea con i concorrenti, torneremo in estate per mangiare fuori Consigliato
Ottima cucina con ottimo servizio molto veloce e personale attento alle esigenze del cliente. Locale con posti a sedere internamente ed esternamente. Internamente in estate è climatizzato, si sta molto bene. Prodotti freschi e molto generosi. I dolci sono pochi ma fatti da loro, molto buoni. Buono rapporto prezzo e qualità. Ottina posizione, visto che si trova vicino alla chiesa ed al lago, dove si può fare una piacevole passeggiata prima o dopo mangiato. Assolutamente da provare. Consigliatissimo.
Siamo andati a mangiare in questo posto in 14, senza aver prenotato e siamo riusciti a passare un gradevole momento. Lo spazio all’aperto è ombreggiato e comodo. Abbiamo mangiato degli antipasti misti di mare e di lago ed ognuno ha poi scelto il proprio primo o secondo. Il personale è cordiale e disponibile, mentre il pesce è fresco e i primi mantecati bene. Leggermente insipidi i tagliolini con zucchine e gamberi di lago, ma nel complesso una buona esperienza. Ci tornerei.
Esperienza positiva per questo ristorante che si trova nella piazza principale. Il posto e' tranquillo e il locale all' esterno si presenta curato con molti posti ,dentro invece, risulta un po' piccolo ma sempre carino servizio veloce e professionale ottimo il pesce freschissimo in tutte le portate peccato la pasta con granchio e cappesante che e' risultata abbantanza asciutta dolce ottimo e vino della casa in caraffe il tutto a prezzi veramente onesti per la qualita' offerta.

Freshly prepared food which is, depending on the order, prepared at your table (e.g. filet of fish, dressing for salads, ...) I had noodles with sea food. The sea food was excellent and very much, but the noodles were not well spices. My partner had noodles with shrimps, they were really tasty!
Pretty good food and service. Pasta was good. Lake fish was good. The best turned out to be the desserts. Tiramisu and panecotta were just wonderful.

The staff was very rude and impolite, barely even made eye contact and not even managed to say a goodbye. The food was edible, but that's about it - pasta and fish dumped in masses of olive oil without any other condiments.
We (my family) had a very sad experience with this place. Low quality bread; the bread smells like bread fungus, although the waiter claimed it was a grill smell.🤦 The bread may be stored in the wrong place. The oil in the mussels was rancid, but I ate it because I was hungry. I hoped that the next dish would be better. The next dish, black-grilled fish, was a disaster, bitter on top and tasted like toilet paper on the inside. The fish soup was just tomato paste, heated in the microwave, and on top there was not the freshest seafood. The temperature of the tomato paste was very hot, the temperature of the shrimp and squid were slightly warm. There was a strong temperature dissonance. Very rude waiter and cook. Just petty crooks. I told the truth and I'm a real person. I don't want other people to get hurt in this place. The presentation of the food is very unattractive. Doesn't correspond at all to the photos on the restaurant's website.
Food quality was very poor. I ordered risotto and a side of mix salad. One of my friends got spaghetti with mussels and the other one tagiatelle ragu. Only tagiatelle ragu was fine, the rest was horrible. I am not a picky eater and I have eaten in many restaurants around the world. I could make a better risotto with my eyes closed. I told the chef that the food was bad and he got offended. We tried, paid and left. Not recommend it.
the food was terrible, too salty, the service and the cook were unpleasant. Of the three dishes we ordered, only one was ok, but certainly not tasty
