A typical Turin trattoria with dishes prepared with care and attention. The menu is extensive, but the idea of ​​sampling ten appetizers plus dessert is excellent. If I return to Turin, I'll definitely return. Excellent value.

We visited this trattoria two nights in a row. The first night, we ordered the 10-course appetizer menu with house wine. (Everything was good and plentiful.) The second night, we ordered first and second courses à la carte. The dishes have a typical trattoria presentation, but the food is plentiful, delicious, and reasonably priced. For those who aren't looking for luxury, I think it's the perfect place to eat well and pay little. The service is very fast. I recommend booking.

While the food is excellent and the service is fast and friendly, I think the €3 cover charge per person is too much. The €1.50 coffee is reasonable, considering it's not a bar. The menu is a bit confusing, handwritten and with adjusted prices, but it's also full of unique offerings you won't find elsewhere, like fried brie with blueberry sauce. My partner and I each had two appetizers, a first course, a second course, a liter of red wine on tap, and two coffees for a total of €65. The portions are more than generous. I recommend this award-winning trattoria even though it's more expensive than the last time I was there. In response to Mr. Davide: I came here months ago with my partner and several other times in the past. I'm attaching a photo of the receipt with a note showing that the cover charge is €3, not €2.50 (perhaps sitting outside costs more). In any case, no argument because, as I repeat, the food is good. Not a dinner, an EXPERIENCE. We were immediately greeted by the warm, homey atmosphere of the place: a small restaurant that exudes a sense of familiarity and tranquility. We started with an excellent veal with tuna sauce, followed by agnolotti and maltagliati with wild boar ragù. The maltagliati were very flavorful and well-cooked, the agnolotti buttery and delicious. The real highlight of the dinner, however, was the Fassona tartare with Castelmagno cheese: the meat was incredibly tender and melted in the mouth, while the Castelmagno cheese made everything creamy and velvety… not ironically, one of the best dishes I've ever tasted in a restaurant.

Wonderful traditional trattoria. The food is fantastic, so so tasty, the place gives you a sense of home. It’s a sweet place a bit outside the centre and definitely worth the visit.

A welcome return to a true trattoria. I've known it practically since its debut 26 years ago and frequented it until 2014, and I'm delighted to find it again. I say "true trattoria" because, perhaps due to my age, the term now gives me hives, overused by those who, at restaurant prices or worse, offer free-range prime-crop cockerel rather than ancient-grain tagliatella in their zero-mile veal ragù (who doesn't have a calf in their backyard?). This is a trattoria, not a faux-trattoria, and in a neighborhood that isn't posh but rather difficult and problematic, so much to their credit. The place is clean, welcoming, small, and the decor is now exquisitely faded. Both à la carte and tasting menus are available—I recommend the 10-appetizer set for €23, which will fill you up and delight you—very affordable prices in any case, and portions range from good to generous. Dishes range from good to excellent, and the cuisine is express. Good-quality house wines in bulk, along with a few other, more discreet, labels, but no out-of-the-ordinary offerings. It's definitely worth a visit, both for its cuisine, service, and unpretentious kindness, and for its ability to survive in such a run-down yet vibrant neighborhood. Reservations are absolutely essential. Well done, see you soon.

Cena del 13/03/2024. Ubicato nella periferica Barriera di Milano, zona scomoda per il parcheggio, il locale si presenta piuttosto spartano; ambiente non molto ampio e con un numero esiguo di tavoli discretamente distanziati tra loro. Comfort acustico, almeno nella serata infrasettimanale della nostra visita, buono. Cucina prevalentemente piemontese senza fronzoli (che io considero un pregio) e rivisitazioni, tutto sommato ben eseguita: noi abbiamo ordinato due antipasti (peperoni con bagna caoda e vitello tonnato, entrambi soddisfacenti), tre primi (agnolotti alla piemontese, gnocchi al Castelmagno e risotto speck e radicchio, apprezzati da tutti i commensali), un piatto di trippa (dalla consistenza lievemente tenace) ed un piatto di carciofi fritti, asciutti e croccanti. Carta dei vini non ampia ma dai prezzi onesti. Servizio cortese ed abbastanza rapido. Conto adeguato. Voto: 7,5

La miglior piola della zona!! Servizio veloce e personale molto gentile. Tutti i piatti costano intorno agli 8€. Un buon posto per provare i piatti tipici piemontesi.

Abbiamo pranzato in 4, locale pieno, si presenta esteticamente povero, ma non importa, perché tutto il resto è proprio ottimo. Cibo alla piemontese, tutto buono, ambiente familiare servizio veloce preciso e cordiale. I dolci alla fine una chicca. Molto contenti.Il prezzo mitico. Grazie.

Cibo buono per carità ma personale e servizio davvero da mezza stella. 6 persone e portano a tavola 6 fette di pane, qualsiasi richiesta sembrava un problema...pure a pagare hanno avuto da dire. A mai più oltretutto molto cari.
