Quite possibly one of the greatest experiences I have had on holiday. The staff are very welcoming and friendly, the patrons are the same ( and excellent karaoke singers!) After spending one night there my group and I felt like we had a home away from home. If you are willing to make some effort to speak to the staff they will return the effort in spades. Ago the barman is excellent and friendly, with the help of a bit of Google translate we became fast friends, he makes a dangerously good negroni for a very good price. The patrons such as Eleanora are wonderful, she deserves special mention for helping to translate to Ago when I pushed his English too far. Also helped me with backing vocals on karaoke. Finally the owner was amazing, making sure we never wanted for anything and helping out with advice on Milan with any questions I had. TLDR: Danton cafè, it's staff and patrons are amazing, and a credit to Milan and Italy...

We searched for a small local place with no tourists and were positively surprised. The prizes are low and you get great service, amazing coffee and croissants and a nice ambiente. Would visit any time again. Highly recommend it!

I had lunch with a sandwich at this place, which I always pass by on my way to the office. Located near the Idroscalo and the nearby Europark, it offers a wide assortment of croissants and sweet treats, neatly displayed in the display case. The sandwiches are good, generously sized, and well-filled. The prices are more than reasonable. The place is spacious, with tables inside and a streetside terrace. There are no architectural impediments. The owner is friendly and helpful. The service is quick. Payment is accepted in cash or by card. A wide selection of bottled beers and soft drinks. A place frequented by regulars who feel at home. Recommended for a chat with friends and a coffee with a side order. The place is located on a main road. Parking can be difficult, but there are ample paid parking lots nearby that serve both the Idroscalo and neighboring businesses. A very positive experience.

A young and fresh bar. It's immediately welcoming, with an inviting display of pastries for breakfast or a treat during the day. Fast service from regulars who seem to be having breakfast with one big extended family. Many know each other and interact, creating an informal, family-like atmosphere. Take a break before work while reading the now-hard-to-find paper newspaper. Sit under the shade of the umbrellas, inside one of the two rooms, or comfortably sit outside, in the cool air. In the afternoon, it transforms into a cocktail hour, accompanied by platters, canapés, or even gnocco fritto, tartare, mussels with pepper, or mixed fried fish in collaboration with the adjacent restaurant. Everything is freshly prepared and absolutely delicious. Certainly not for everyone. The "Boss," almost eclectic, treats regulars and occasional customers with a friendly yet attentive manner. Even celebrating a birthday or special event is easy. Booking the room and having everything organized ensures a relaxing celebration, with music, appetizers, or more sophisticated dishes. Just ask, and put Toni's imagination to the test. It's free. Disabled access is also available, and bathrooms have easy access and no steps. Parking is always available. Highly recommended.

Spacious, rustic Western-style bar with wooden tables and umbrellas outside, covered smoking areas, and a convenient corner display of pastries directly opposite the front door. A newspaper is available for reading. The apricot jam brioche, "from the bakery," was mediocre. The latte macchiato was good and frothy. Friendly service. Clean restrooms. The outside table was sticky.

There is a lot to improve, I stopped for a takeaway sandwich and I asked for raw ham with scamorza and salad: he grilled the raw ham which became inedible, the salad was unseasoned, and it took him a long time to prepare it, not to mention the place is stuck in the seventies,
