So much more than a sandwich shop. This cute little gem would be easy to miss if you're not looking for it. A moderate selection of cooked dishes as well as the signature sandwiches. Prices are very reasonable and the quality is high. Staff are friendly and welcoming. Would definitely visit again.

Absolutely adored this dinner spot. Everything from the music, to the atmosphere, customer service and the unique and delicious menu it was all fabulous. We shared the spaghetti and roast beef dishes with a spritz each and loved our choices. If you’re looking for an authentic stop with personality, cheerful staff and delicious food look no further.

About 100 metres from the crowded Como lakeside, this is an absolute gem. With a few outside tables, a spacious indoor area, and cheerful and engaging staff they serve a wide range of pizzas, slads, and other traditional Italian cuisine, followed by undoubtedly the best tiramisu I have ever had. Good wine and great coffee too, and very reasonably priced. You must try it!

Me and my partner stayed next door and these guys were very welcoming and gave us recommendations on places to visit every time we seen them. We ended up having dinner here a couple of times. Very friendly. Food was to die for ! Especially the homemade tiramisu ! Great selection of wines and half the price of any other restaurant we visited in Como. We always eat here when we come back to downtown Lake Como. Food is great. staff is polite. Never had a bad meal here. We will be back again next week.

Lovely spot where I would definitely go back to try a panino/sandwich. This time though I tried a salad which I found good but overpriced as I left the table still feeling hungry. The atmosphere is very nice and unique. Holster in an Italian way. All waiters behaved very nicely and the location is lovely as it is a quiet alley immediately out of one of the main streets of the center of the town.

We ordered brasato con polenta, a dish I am very familiar with, so this cannot be explained as a matter of “local taste”. The sauce was sharply acidic and bitter, with a clear taste of spoiled wine, making the dish impossible to eat. The meat was completely drowned in the sauce, and after a few attempts we had to leave the dish untouched. When we informed the staff, the response was very disappointing: • it took a long time before a waiter came to address the issue; • instead of an apology, we were told that “this is how it should taste because it is cooked with wine”; • in the end, only half of the dish was removed from the bill, despite the fact that it was not eaten. I know well how brasato should taste: deep, rich, and well-balanced, not sour or bitter. This was either a cooking error or an issue with the ingredients, but certainly not acceptable. Combined with slow and inattentive service, the overall experience was very disappointing. I do not plan to return.

Waiter made room for us to sit inside which was appreciated. Ordered a pizza which arrived and was awful and not to my taste. No alternative was offered and the bill arrived and I was charged despite only eating a tiny section. When I challenged the bill the manager got aggressive and had a revolting attitude. This seems to be a theme of these reviews. Avoid at all costs!

The worst carbonara and rude staff. Ordered carbonara and it was the worst I ever had - tasteless and looking like scrambled eggs. We ended up being charged with it anyway as the guy at the counter was really aggressive and yelled at us that we don’t understand how carbonara is made in Italy, like we are fools. Not recommend!
