Typical dishes include polenta and mushrooms, stew, and torta fritta with cured meats and cheeses. The wine list is interesting, with a selection appropriate to the setting and the food. The dessert, homemade meringue, was a real surprise and a wonderful end to the meal.

An interesting trattoria, converted from the former spinning mill owner's house. The perfectly restored frescoes throughout the restaurant's dining rooms are certainly impressive. Modern decor, fast service, and a choice of about three to four first courses and the same number of second courses. Good quality, excellent value, and good seating capacity. Reviewed March 2025.

A lovely place with a relaxed, non-oppressive atmosphere. The service is quick, free of unnecessary frills, punctual, and attentive. Excellent food—not Michelin-starred dishes, but traditional fare, presented seasonally and with respect for the ingredients. The portions are more than generous, and the price, in my opinion, is fair. I'll definitely be back.

A more than decent place with excellent value for money. The menu is readily recited, with a good selection of starters, main courses, and desserts. The wine recommendation was also excellent: I drank a fabulous Groppello del Garda. They'll definitely see me again. Definitely worth considering.

A good trattoria restaurant. Very good food, excellent service, and very friendly staff. A lovely location with frescoes on the ceiling. Located near the Verolanuova square, with convenient parking. I recommend adding a larger sign outside, as it's hard to tell at first glance that it's a restaurant. Otherwise, highly recommended.

We went to celebrate a friend's birthday. We were warmly welcomed and the staff was very professional. The gnocco fritto was superb, accompanied by quality cheeses and cured meats. The Angus steak was exquisite and perfectly cooked, enhanced by the fragrant green Sicilian olive oil—a triumph of sweetness that concluded the meal. Definitely worth repeating.

We went again this year, but it was nothing like last year: the cured meats were limited (the lard was missing), the usual giardiniera was missing, and the gnocco fritto was scarce. The wait times were long and requests went unanswered. Nutella with the gnocco was not delivered. The bathroom was unpresentable. The gnocco fritto and guinea fowl were good, but not enough.

We wanted to go to this place because of the charming location, but it was a perfect choice. We hadn't even had time to sit down before they'd already asked us about drinks and food: the lady in charge of ordering the dishes verbally listed the dishes—there's no menu to consult!!!—which were limited to three first courses and just one second course. We made our choices quickly, given the rush, and waited. On the table, besides the tablecloth, were napkins, glasses, and a couple of packs of breadsticks, nothing else. The first courses arrived, literally placed down on the fly by the lady; we hadn't even had time to open our mouths to ask for cheese before it had already vanished. We waited before eating to see if she'd come back to ask for it, but from then on, about 45 minutes later, no one had shown up. All this was accompanied by an unreasonable amount of noise from the other diners (there was a deafening roar). The lady reappears and asks if we'd like anything else, this time offering us more main courses (though perhaps I would have liked to have known about them from the start), but we decide to move on to dessert given the unbearable atmosphere created by the loud noise of other people's voices. It's a shame because the food itself is well cooked, but as for the rest... TERRIBLE!!!!!!

I ordered a fried cake menu, but it wasn't a menu because they brought me 8 slices of prosciutto, 4 slices of coppa, and 4 slices of salami, with about 20 pieces of fried gnocchi. All for €50. Close the place and throw away the key.
