My wife and I went to this restaurant for our wedding anniversary. We'd been wanting to try it for a while, but we'd never been able to find a table. The location is an old Piedmontese house, very warm and well-maintained. From the first moment, the staff makes you feel pampered with professionalism, attention, courtesy, and passion. Speaking of the food, everything was truly delicious: beautifully presented dishes, prepared with personality, while maintaining the right balance. Absolutely fair prices. Highly recommended.

The restaurant is located on the first hill of Chiasso. On the upper floor, beyond the entrance, you enter a welcoming atmosphere overlooking the greenery, while on the lower floor, beyond the charming internal courtyard, you enter a spacious dining room suitable for numerous guests. The service is always prompt and the dining room is excellently managed; the owner and the waiters will pamper you. Welcome appetizers and pre-dessert appetizers complement the tasty and beautifully presented cuisine, featuring traditional dishes and modern twists, always balanced and never boring. The wine list is extensive, as is the selection of liqueurs and spirits, perfect for a perfect end to your meal. Congratulations!

What was supposed to be a last-minute dinner—hoping it would be open—turned into a truly gastronomic experience. In the middle of a heavy storm, we received excellent, traditional service and a superbly prepared pigeon. The appetizers, amuse-bouches, bread, and sweets—including a watermelon granita—were also fantastic. The wine recommendation from the maître d', who introduced us to a local wine, was spot on! A top-notch address, and next time we're in the area, we'll go for the full experience.

We arrived for a Saturday evening anniversary dinner and were immediately greeted with a warm welcome. Upon entry, they promptly asked us to remove our jackets and leave them in the cloakroom, before guiding us to our table. We were then served two excellent, delicate amuse-bouche, and then finished the chef's tastings with a sublimely prepared salmon trout dish, all accompanied by a sparkling rosé. For appetizers, we ordered a stuffed quail in a shortcrust pastry crust, served with its green curry sauce and a bergamot, orange, and lemon chutney, and the veal with tuna sauce, with pickled white tuna and katsuobushi, roast gravy, and mixed salad. For the first courses, we had classic Piedmontese agnolotti with three roasts, served with brown butter and sausage ragout. My fiancée had purple potato gnocchi stuffed with chicory, raisins, and pine nuts, accompanied by a 36-month Parmigiano Reggiano broth and purple potato chips. Before dessert, the chef delighted us with a single portion of panna cotta with mandarin compote and chestnut honey. For dessert, we had a chocolate dessert in four consistencies and four concentrations, accompanied by a spiny olive sorbet and Cayenne pepper jam. My fiancée had a carrot-based dessert in two consistencies: a warm tart, carrot and ginger ice cream, all accompanied by Moscato d'Asti zabaglione. Finally, with coffee, we couldn't miss the small pastries, consisting of two gianduiotti, two baci di dama, and two raspberry macarons. The entire meal was accompanied by an excellent Grignolino from Piedmont, recommended by the maitre d'. In addition to extending heartfelt compliments to chef Gianni Spegis, with whom we had the honor of chatting, for his simple yet delicious cuisine, delicate in every aspect, compliments also go to the dining room staff, which consisted of only three people but seemed to have at least ten. They were truly kind, courteous, and friendly, and very knowledgeable about the chef's dishes, especially since they finished all the dishes at the table. Always available, they completely changed the place settings with each course change, and were always attentive to refilling water and wine if they noticed empty glasses.

Absolutely exceptional. The dishes are of incredible delicacy. Ravioli dough was of such finesse I had never come across before. Veal diaphragm was equally delicate. Stunning desert that had the most exquisite texture. I did not expect this restaurant to be such a hidden gem. Bravo to the chef and the serving team!

This restaurant was recommended to us by a dear friend who works in the restaurant business, so we knew we'd have a great time, but I have to say it's become my new Number 1. We all ordered different dishes to sample as many as possible, and I can't even say which one I liked best because I found them all excellent, delicate, and beautifully presented. As a welcome and between the first and second courses, we were offered additional small tastings that were equally exceptional. We ordered an appetizer, first course, and second course, and I wasn't at all weighed down by the end of the meal. I won't go into the details because you really need to try them. Compliments to the chef. A real highlight for his reinterpretation of typical local dishes, but with a more delicate twist... We'll definitely be back.

Very pleasant place, very friendly staff. Pets are welcome. Refined food and excellent vegetarian options on every menu. Good wine list. Good value for money. A plus: the distance between tables is adequate for privacy. A small tip: ask in advance about the wonderful welcome plates and amuse-bouche, including any culinary preferences or intolerances. An excellent restaurant to visit often.

I must say I booked without high expectations, expecting to eat well but average. However, I was incredibly surprised by the quality of the dishes and the perfect balance of flavors—acidity, saltiness, sweetness, tradition, and exoticism—to perfection. Excellent dinner, excellent service, with thoughtful touches like amuse-bouche and coffee treats that pamper the customer. The restaurant is elegant and clean. Go there as soon as possible.
