Andare da Filippo è come sentirsi sempre accolti in casa , dopo oltre 20 anni mi stupisce sempre e posso dire che, nonostante il mio peregrinare per la Campania e altrove ,una sosta qui merita e rimane sempre il mio preferito . I piatti sono eseguiti con cura e con grande grazia e tecnica.Ora che il timone è passato alle figlie sono stati fatti impeccabili salti di qualità, rispettando sempre la territorialità, gemma unica in penisola sorrentina dove è tutto così standard e dai sapori sciatti e anonimi.. Il menù cambia giornalmente a secondo del mercato con pescato di piccola barca e con forniture di piccoli produttori agricoli della collina sorrentina rispettando sempre la stagionalità ed il tutto servito con grande amore e con grande competenza dalle due Terese che menziono con grande affetto. Vi faranno accomodare con piccoli assaggi di benvenuto come le fantastiche olive schiacciate al torchio del loro uliveto di famiglia e sarete guidati nella scelta con tanto entusiasmo .Nonostante ci fosse stata una serata con un blackout dovuta ad un forte temporale la macchina organizzativa è stata semplicemente perfetta. Menziono la loro pasticceria preparata con creme e ingredienti artigianali, lasciando nel finale un palato delizioso.Non aggiungerei altro ...il tutto è da scoprire e provare. Vi sentirete a casa e merita davvero una visita.

Wonderful restaurant just a short walk from the center. One of the only places I went to in Sorrento that didn’t feel completely geared towards tourists, and I mean that as the highest compliment. From the friendly service to the incredible food to the reasonable prices to the homey atmosphere, I absolutely loved dining here. Highly recommend!

Great service, excellent food and free parking. We went on Saturday lunch. The service was great, really friendly and helpful. I don't speak Italian, they gave us an English menu and were really helpful. We were the only tourists in the restaurant. Seeing Italians eat there is a great vote of confidence for the food. For a family of 4 we spent just under 100 EUR which was reasonable. The octopus spaghetti was on their special board and was incredibly tasty. I've had octopus quite a few times, but this was the best. My partner had spaghetti with clams and loved it. The kids enjoyed their pasta too. The grilled mozzarella was amazing!

The hotel recommended this restaurant and we couldn't be happier! Food was amazing (so many options!), we even got dessert. Service was good but a little slow, but when we went the patio was extremely crowded so it's understandable. We might go back while we're staying in Sorrento. Great!

Not touristy at all, seems like a local place. One of the best food we had in sorrento with warm and kind service!! The price is reasonable. I had the risotto (14 euro)and my husband the steak (30 euro). Both of us thoroughly enjoyed our food.

Delicious farm to table spot off the beaten path. Food was fresh and prepared nicely. Service was a bit slow but we were in no rush. Warm inviting vibe here and the walk in through the lemon grove with lights was beautiful. Worth a trip.

Out of the four nights we spent in Sorrento, we came to eat here twice! I have to admit, it was one of the few places in Sorrento where the food truly met our expectations. First, the service was impeccable. The staff was very kind, always smiling, and they gave us great recommendations on the daily specials and other options. The pasta was super soft, and the portions were generous! As someone who isn’t a big fan of pasta, I highly recommend the chicken—it was juicy but had that grilled flavor that was perfect! The salads and potatoes were also delicious, great to accompany the meal, and of course, we couldn’t skip dessert. We ordered the tiramisu both times because it was that good, and I also recommend trying the lemon delight. The best part? The dogs and cats that roam the place. They walk around so respectfully, spreading love, and it’s impossible not to want to pet them. Highly recommended!

What an AMAZING experience this was!! We asked a bartender at Banana Split for a recommendation for dinner for our family of 6 and he recommended Ristorante Da Filippo!!! I am so glad we listened to him! We took a taxi 5 mins from our hotel and headed up to this wonderful farm to table restaurant! There were so many animals around, chickens, bunnies, dogs & cats and we just loved that!! We waited about 5 mins and they got us right to a table which was very nice bc they were busy in there!! Great drinks and a great atmosphere- there was even a piano player and singer who really brought the jams! The food was phenomenal and there was also a free shuttle service to take us back down to our hotel!! 12/10 i am so happy we went here!!

Don't miss this experience while in Sorrento. The walk from the main road until the restaurant is fabulous, filled with lemon trees and lights. At the entrance there some golden retrivers. The food was very good and they have lots of choices in the menu. There is a talented man singing italian music and not only, making the atmosphere even more magical. The prices are ok for the experience you have. They provide free shuttle to your accomodation if you live nearby.

Overall, a wonderful experience. Very kind hosts, and the foods were authentic and delicious, starting from appetizers to main course. The portion size was sufficient and comes in cheaper prices compared to other high-end restaurants in Sorrento. The marinated fish was the winner, it had rich flavours of sour-sweet lemons and olive oil. I highly recommend this place for Italian food enthusiasts.

One of the best meals we had in Italy ! Authentic Italian fair in a gorgeous setting. Beautiful lemon trees As you enter. It’s a bit of a walk up hill, but they do offer a shuttle service. All of our pastas were fresh and home made. The Arancini were delicious ! Great wine, good atmosphere. Fun music and vibe. Place was packed at 1030pm ! Definitely go if you are in Sorrento.

amazing hidden gem!! very family friendly place, with a playground for kids. lots of animals in the front of the restaurant, and 3 gorgeous golden retrievers wandering around the restaurant. service was great once we sat down - had a very funny waiter. we had the best pasta ever - ravoli was amazing and the eggplant was delicious.

We ate here last night and enjoyed the best meal of our time in Sorrento. The restaurant is a little out of town, but I think they offer a shuttle service - we used it going back to our apartment. This unpretentious restaurant enjoys a lovely terrace setting and is equally ideal for large parties and romantic couples. The food was the best we've had on this trip in terms of quality and value. The service was flawless despite how busy the place was. Escape the tourist hoards in Sorrento and try a meal here. You won't regret it!

Great food in a beautiful space. There is a kids playground and some animals (pigs, chicken, turtles, rabbits and dogs). Staff is very professional, relaxed and nice and the food was outstanding. Homemade pasta was great.

Make a reservation, let them know where you're staying and they can pick you up in their shuttle. We booked late and made the trek uphill - laborious but we handled it. The atmosphere had a great outdoor, rural vibe to it. After a while into the evening, the venue has a talented musician to play keyboard and sing during the dinner. Food was great. I would suggest the ravioli. All desserts were great but I forget the names! We seen someone order the steak which looked amazing. The chef came out as well to get input from the customers which is pretty cool. I would come here again.

Erano anni che non venivo in qsto ristorante...stasera ci sono tornata per la pizza ...buona e leggera ... Molto bella la location ...un po' disattento il servizio ma abbiamo trascorso una bella serata .

Ci hanno consigliato questo ristornate persone del posto e ci siamo fidati. Il locale è carino e ben tenuto, con una parte esterna con ventilatori e una zona adiacente dove i bambini possono giocare. Servizio veloce e ideale per famiglie. Abbiamo mangiato piatti di pesce buoni ma non eccezionali, allineati a un locale che gestisce tanti coperti ogni sera. Un po' sbilanciato il rapporto qualità prezzo ma capisco che a Sorrento i prezzi lievitino leggermente. Nota a parte: C'è un grande parcheggio adiacente che non abbiamo ben capito se è loro, se è di un vicino che approfitta del vicino locale o altro...gestito da un parcheggiatore che ci fa stare più auto possibile e quando volete andare via gioca al tetris con le macchine di tutti pretendendo una mancia. Se la cifra corrisposta non lo soddisfa vi ripagherà a male parole. Vi consiglio di posteggiare altrove nel caso il tetris si trasformasse in un autoscontro!

Una scelta fatta a caso,ma ben fatta. Un luogo molto frequentato anche in bassa stagione,il ché vuol dire che qui la qualità non manca! Ho scelto una tagliata di carne da 18€ accompagnata con una bottiglia di vino "Gragnano" rosso.....per un fine settimana è un ottimo luogo da visitare sia da soli che in compagnia di amici.....se avrò la possibilità,vi tornerò!

Il locale è molto ampio sia per quanto riguarda gli spazi interni che per gli esterni, ha un parcheggio interno il che risulta molto comodo, le portate sono eccellenti, forse solo le linguine non sono in porzione abbondante, ma per il resto perfetto, il pesce ha un buon sapore ed è fresco, quindi nulla da dire sulla qualità. Anche la pizza è più che buona, ordinata più volte anche da asporto.

Uno dei miei ristoranti preferiti a Sorrento! A partire dalla grandezza dell'ambiente, d'estate è possibile cenare anche all'esterno. Le pizze davvero ottime come anche il resto della qualità del cibo. Punto forte i dessert! Sconsigliato il fine settimana se non si ha una prenotazione poiché bisogna aspettare molto per entrare, ma l'attesa viene comunque ripagata dal buon personale e la ottimo servizio! Consiglio vivamente di provarlo almeno una volta. Unica pecca di ieri sera, l'averci fatto pagare anche l'amaro a fine cena, che avevamo accettato di prendere perché pensavamo fosse offerto dalla casa.

Il locale è molto bello e gli antipasti (affettati, e formaggi) gustosi, ma purtroppo i primi piatti sono poco saporiti. Gli spaghetti con le vongole erano insapore e cucinati male. Una pietra nel piatto! Le pappardelle ai funghi porcini con una crema di latte (forse panna) senza alcun sentore dei funghi. Chi ha preso i paccheri al sugo di cernia ha detto che erano buoni. Ho poi assaggiato il fiordilatte cotto nelle foglie di limone che è tipico della zona. Discreto. Infine ho preso una caprese al pistacchio che non aveva nulla della caprese perché fatta con la pasta frolla biscottata. Troppo cotta! Come la pasta frolla, troppo cotta, della crostata di fragoline che addirittura si separava dalla panna (si, fatta con la panna invece della crema chantilly o crema gialla). Chi ha preso la delizia a limone ha detto che era buona. Insomma una esperienza culinaria da dimenticare anche se la location è bella e il personale accogliente.

Buon ristorante, ma alcune volte lascia a desiderare quando è pieno. Buona la tagliata di carne, ottimo qualche primo, e fantastici i dolci dove c'è una vasta e buona scelta della pasticceria locale.

Our hotel recommended this restaurant that was off the beaten path and offered a shuttle service to get there. They didn't answer the phone so we ended up trekking up the hill hoping for a local experience. What we found was a bizarre mixture of restaurant, zoo, playground, and dining hall. There were multiple staff running around but only ours and one other table occupied. Food was good but strange experience that I'm not sure I'd recommend venturing out of the main town for. Plenty of other more authentic and enjoyable places closer to the old town.

Esperienza pessima. Abbiamo prenotato con largo anticipo chiedendo espressamente un tavolo vicino alla finestra per poter controllare i bambini che giocavano in giardino. Telefonicamente ci era stato garantito, ma una volta arrivati al ristorante ci è stato detto prima che la prenotazione non esisteva, poi che sì, c’era, ma senza alcuna possibilità di avere il tavolo richiesto. L’unica alternativa proposta? Un tavolo all’interno, lontanissimo dalle finestre, totalmente inutile rispetto alle nostre esigenze. Come se non bastasse, il personale si è dimostrato scortese, disorganizzato e soprattutto arrogante: invece di chiedere scusa per l’errore, ci è stato risposto con un poco professionale “cambiate locale se non vi sta bene”. Questo non è il modo di trattare clienti, tantomeno clienti di lunga data. Un ristorante dovrebbe imparare a gestire le richieste, ma soprattutto a relazionarsi con educazione e rispetto. Avete perso punti, clienti e credibilità. Se non siete capaci di fare questo lavoro, forse dovreste davvero cambiare mestiere.
