The buffet was great, especially the shark fin cream soup with shrimp, which was made with the best recipe. The sushi, despite being a buffet, was very good. I recommend it. It's a shame that desserts aren't included in the price, and out of 20 dishes, only 5 were very good; the rest were just average.

A very run-down place, it's dark, it looks like a cantina, and the bathrooms are very dirty. The buffet should be more extensive for what they charge; there aren't many options and the dishes look unpleasant, and they take a long time to change them. Look for better options; for the price they charge per person, you could go to more attractive places, where the food is delicious.

It's so-so. I received a message or a 3-for-1 coupon, and we paid $398. The regular buffet price is $299, and the kids' buffet is $99. The variety is limited, and some dishes were salty. The place needs more cleanliness. The bathrooms also need cleaning.

On Saturday, December 20, 2025, 11 of us went to the buffet and they only had fried rice, plain rice, chop suey, and sweet and sour chicken that looked more like broth… The cashier was very rude, telling us how lucky we were to eat, and the cooks said they didn't have the supplies to prepare food… If it's a buffet, they're supposed to have a variety of food… Oh, and they just kept saying they'd bring more food in 10 minutes, and nothing ever came… Terrible service, and paying 2,580.00 for it is outrageous

If you have the chance to go, DON'T GO. The food is cold, although it tastes okay; if it were hotter, it might have been better. The bathrooms are dirty, the floor is even worse, and we arrived and were never served until we asked for service because we needed a high chair and a pot of tea. We spent $590 for two people, which seemed really expensive.

Many years ago I went there for lunch and everything was delicious. Today I returned, but it's the complete opposite. From the moment you walk in, it smells like sewers and dirt. The floor is filthy, the atmosphere is uncomfortable, it's hot, and the food, which was the most important thing, is AWFUL, tasteless, you can tell it's stale food. There are very few dishes on the buffet. Any Chinese food by the spoonful is better than this place. The tea, which is the cornerstone of a Chinese restaurant, is super bland. EVERYTHING IS BAD. I don't recommend it at all. And the price, not to mention $700 for two adults and a child. It's expensive for what you end up eating, it's so bad.

When I visit Culiacán, I always make sure to go to this restaurant at least once because I love the food. Today I'm writing this review because the service was terrible, the dishes were dirty, the drinks were served reluctantly, the food was scarce and of very poor quality for a buffet at that price, the air conditioning is off, and the heat is unbearable. Chinaloa used to be my and my friends' go-to buffet restaurant, but after this awful experience, we realize it's just another outdated, bland place where, if you're lucky, the food might not make you sick. Any other Chinese restaurant can offer a better experience, regardless of whether it's a buffet or not.

Terrible, I used to go frequently for years with my family, now that I'm back the quality has dropped a lot for the price. We were celebrating two birthdays and we were greeted with poor service, it was incredibly hot and they turned off the minisplit with all the customers inside sweating, the food tasted like old food, what was supposed to crunch was watery and taliste, they put almost nothing on the grills of what they promise you in the buffet, dirty cutlery and dishes, horrendous🤢, it will definitely be the last visit I make to this place

The food was horrible, the rice was hard and the food was awful. The atmosphere is horrible and the people at the bar just stare at you and laugh at you. It's expensive, $250 pesos per person, and the tea tastes like tap water and the pitcher costs $130 pesos. It's horrible. Never go there, and if you do, you'll regret it. They also offer seafood and pizza, but none of that is there. It's better to go to Chinese food, it's cheaper, it's the same, but it's probably better somewhere else.
