If you want to truly feel like a local in Colima, this little neighborhood taqueria is perfect for that! The place is happening - people keep coming and going all evening. We came twice in a week, so this speaks for itself:) They have plenty of tables outside, it’s was perfect for our group of 6-8. My favorite thing to try was Costra de queso!

It's a taqueria with charcoal-grilled meat, which gives it a special flavor and touch. The service is excellent, the products and dishes taste good, and they accept credit card payments. Their prices are affordable, and they also include cilantro, onion, and cooked beans.

Lechuguilla Grullense

Very tasty preparations, well served, and excellent service. Note that this is a taqueria with tables on the terrace, so if it's raining, you can dine comfortably without worrying. The 4 stars are because they need to sell El Grullense products. Tacos with coconut or tamarind water would be delicious, or why not, grilled meat with a little pitcher of lettuce and tequila?

What a terrible experience we had. Yesterday I went for dinner and the service was awful. The waitress who served us was incredibly rude, questioning customers when they order something is just plain bad taste, since I'm paying for a service, and I'm obviously going to pay for what I order. To top it all off, besides the bad service, the meat was dry and seemed like it had been sitting for days, and to make matters worse, everyone in our party got a stomach bug.

It's a tiny restaurant, and honestly, the food isn't worth the price. It's ridiculously expensive, and the tacos, despite costing $32, were tiny and lacked meat. The owner was there, apparently working as a waiter at his own place, and he messed up my order. During my meal, I realized my experience wasn't an isolated one; he doesn't usually pay attention to orders, and this mistake is a recurring issue. My brother ordered an $80 torta, and it had more cheese and bread than meat. Providing good service isn't difficult, so I recommend avoiding this bad experience.
