Excellent. Very good service. We went without a reservation, and even though the place was full, they made room for us on the terrace, but we had to let them know beforehand. The food was a 10/10. Well prepared; the portions aren't huge, but the quality of the ingredients more than makes up for it. The French toast was outstanding—spectacular, the best I've ever had, and I've had many. The "café fantasía" was also excellent, which is a novelty for a restaurant. I really enjoyed the grilled leeks in romanesco sauce. Important note: the set menus must be reserved 48 hours in advance. It's a bit pricey 🫰🏼, but it's worth it. Definitely worth repeating.

Had a great meal with top service. The restaurant filled up quickly but as it is on the small side, it created a nice atmosphere. Highly recommend the food here - the Basque Cheesecake was amazing.

A small but very cozy place with about 12 small tables. We had a weekend menu consisting of two starters, a first course, a choice of three main courses, and a choice of three desserts. The food was delicious. The service was very good, fast, and attentive.

The food is excellent, the rice with shrimp is delicious, and a special mention goes to the pork chop carpaccio. The desserts are also delicious. The cheesecake and brownie are amazing. I've visited this restaurant several times, and it never disappoints. This place is a 10 for me. The place is small, and the times I've been, the atmosphere has been very calm and welcoming, and the service is very professional. The food is spectacular; there's not a single dish that isn't worth the try, so I've always tried different options. The red shrimp rice is amazing, as is the octopus, the croquettes, everything. I recommend the tuna tataki, the Iberian pork shoulder, the crab dumplings, and the French toast—spectacular.

Three friends and I went for lunch on a Sunday, having made a reservation. The place is super cozy and the waiters are very friendly and attentive. The service was quick and they were very attentive at all times. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. High-quality ingredients, prepared with care. Nos hemos parado a tomar algo y ha sido un acierto total. ¡Las gildas están brutales! De las mejores que hemos probado: aceitunas sabrosas, anchoas potentes y piparras en su punto justo. Todo con un vinito blanco fresquito… ¡planazo! Sitio auténtico, buen ambiente y atención muy cercana. Volveremos seguro.

Cambio la reseña porque de hace unos hasta ahora ha cambiado para mejor, tanto el servicio y la atención como la comida. Para los que vienen a visitar la ciudad, es una buena opción para picoteo rápido y cercano al casco antiguo. Ofrecen variedad de raciones, ensaladas, hamburguesas y algún que otro bocadillo. Aunque veas que las mesas de arriba están completas, pregunta porque tiene otra zona baja con otro pequeño comedor.

Estuvimos comiendo en familia y nos sorprendió muchísimo. El comedor está bajando unas escaleras lo que hace que sea muy acogedor e ideal para estar más tranquilos lejos del bar. El servicio muy amable y atento, enseguida tomaron nota y nos trajeron las bebidas. El menú de fin de semana por 22€ está muy bien calidad precio. El arroz de marisco y la tarta de queso espectaculares.

Buen sitio y buena comida. Hemos comido mi pareja y yo el menú del dia (21,50€) y la verdad es que estaba todo rico. Es verdad que por el precio te esperas un poco más de calidad pero lo dicho,está muy bien. Y además puedes estar dentro con tu perro !!

Comida buena. Menú competitivo. El salón de abajo quizá queda un poco justo para las mesas que hay, pero se come bien.

Restaurante muy bien ubicado con menú interesante y con comida local. Si bien la comida es buena no es excepcional y el servicio es correcto sin ser demasiado amable. Las cantidades son generosas y la musica ambiente le da un plus.

En el centro de Vitoria comimos en este restaurante un grupo grande. He de decir que el precio del menú para la calidad de la comida me parece un poco alto. De primero pedí unas alcachofas y estaban quemadas y secas. Bien es verdad que el resto de platos estaban mejores pero no para el precio. El servicio tampoco fue el mejor ni el más rápido. A pesar de que nos recordaron varias veces la hora que teníamos que irnos.

Muy buen café y los bocadillitos muy ricos. Poca opción vegetariana. Buen precio. Lo mejor las vistas de la plaza y que el local mantiene la esencia antigua.

Comimos en la terraza al sol bastante agradable hasta que empezó a hacer mucho calor y el camarero nos puso una sombrilla. El menú está bastante bien ya que son unos 22€

We went for lunch on a Sunday in early May, a group of five, and ordered several dishes to share. They brought us some complimentary anchovies as a starter, and they were delicious. Then we ordered picaña and Idiazabal cheese croquettes, and they were all very good. The leeks with romesco sauce were excellent. The scallop salad was very good. The dumplings were quite good as well. The creamy rice was very good. For our main course, we ordered two grilled sea bass with eggplant and tomato tartare, which were very good. And a ribeye steak from an older cow, which was cooked perfectly, but the flavor didn't quite win us over; we don't know if it was because it needed more salt…if it weren't for that, we would give it five stars. For dessert, we had caramelized French toast, cheesecake, and chocolate soufflé, which were more like chocolate fondant, but everything was very good. The service was outstanding; it's a small and very cozy place. You have to book in advance. Definitely worth repeating.

I hadn't been before, but it was a wonderful experience. The service was very friendly and welcoming. The food was truly divine. The salad had delicious contrasts of flavors. The rice, although not my favorite, was very tasty. My wife's sirloin steak looked spectacular, and my hake was like jelly in my mouth. One more thing: the bread was delicious.

The experience left much to be desired. There were two vegetarians in our group, and from the moment we made the reservation months in advance, they told us they would adapt the €52 Christmas menu that our friends were also enjoying. The surprise came when, once we sat down to dinner that day, they told us that vegetarians wouldn't have the menu adapted (they didn't even call to let us know, which demonstrates a lack of professionalism regarding special menus), that it had been a management decision. They brought us the menu, and there were three dishes we could eat. As for the portions: if we're paying €18 for a plate of leeks, they should at least be large and not just four tiny ones. In other words, everything was delicious, but the portions didn't match the price. We were full from the dessert; those were indeed large portions, but I'm not going to a pastry shop to fill up on dessert. The people who ate the Christmas menu had the same experience. Finally, I would like to thank the staff for their treatment, which was always good and pleasant.

The food is underwhelming and really expensive for what it is but the wine selection is good and the staff are much nicer than the average in this city. Last but not least, we were happy to get 3 vegetarian dishes (leaks, white asparagus and vegan sausage). Spain is hell for vegetarians. Ballarin scores points.

The food at this restaurant was superb. Our experience was only affected by the presence of cycling team Escortel or Euskatel whose behaviour was poor. They were clearly drunk on arrival, friends of the waiter and it would have been a better decision by waiter to move them out before they started drinking the best of red wines straight from the bottle and then later, vomiting outside. Everyone needs to be young and have a good time, but the owner may want to consider if this is the best for their reputation. Again, I give 3 star for this reason only. It would have been 5 star for the quality of food at this restaurant. I think we were just unlucky. If you are the waiter or owner, then maybe this is just something to consider. We look forward to coming back and being luckier with the company.

Paseando por Vitoria y con todos los sitios para comer colapsados, decidimos entrar en este restaurante porque olía muy bien a parrilla. Sin embargo, la experiencia no estuvo a la altura. Aunque nos sirvieron rápido, el menú de fin de semana de 26 € no se correspondía con la calidad ni la cantidad de los platos. Las alcachofas estaban secas y el chuletón para dos, además con un suplemento de 3 € por persona, llegó prácticamente crudo. En ningún momento nos preguntaron el punto de la carne. Pedimos que lo pasaran un poco más, pero parecía que únicamente lo acercaron a la parrilla y nos lo devolvieron igual. El servicio también resultó desorganizado. Trajeron los segundos sin haber retirado los primeros platos, algo incómodo teniendo en cuenta que la mesa era bastante pequeña. Además, con cada menú entraba una botella de agua y solo nos trajeron una; tuvimos que pedir en varias ocasiones la segunda botella que faltaba. Pedimos postre porque estaba incluido y seguíamos con hambre. Elegimos los profiteroles, que según la carta iban acompañados de chocolate caliente, pero el chocolate estaba del tiempo. En general, la experiencia fue decepcionante. Nos fuimos con hambre y con la sensación de que no valió lo que pagamos. No lo recomiendo y no volveremos.

Segunda vez que voy y segunda vez que salgo depcionada del menú diario de 20€. La primera me sirvieron una sopa de pescado que lejos de ser una sopa de pescado tradicional fue agua con sabor y cuatro mejillones flotando. A pesar de eso volví a darle una oportunidad y vuelvo a salir decepcionada. Pedí las delicias de calabacín con queso de cabra. Eran cuatro láminas finas rellenas y al horno que en dos bocados te lo terminabas. Pero lo mejor fue el segundo: txipirones a la plancha con cebolla caramelizada y alioli. El plato consistía en dos txipis de 5-6 cm cada uno con un poquito de cebolla carameliza. Los txipis daban para partirlos en 3 trocitos cada y ya. Pregunté si las raciones eran siempre tan pequeñas y no me supieron dar contestación. Comparado con las otras raciones de los segundos platos era irrisorio. Y encima tenía un suplemento de 2€. Salí con hambre. No acerté pero no volveré a ir.

Comida y patos mucho q desear Preguntamos para comer y nos dijeron 45 min de espera, mientras esperamos tomando algo se nos acercan y nos indican q nos cuelas, q la síguiente mesa eran mas grandes y qda libre una mesa para 2, empezaba bien la comida De la extensa carta escogemos la pasta y el crujiente de perretxico , no iba mal aunq el plato de pasta casi vacío y aliñado con un poquito de aceite Segundo tataki de atún, no estaba mal pero dudo de su elaboración pintaba a hecho en el microondas por el olor y la textura q tenía, pero el roast beef era todo ternillas bañado en un montón de salsa bastante insípida, no se puede comer ni masticar, siempre te encuentras cosas incomestibles, un fraude me siento engañado, con la estima q tenía a este lugar Menos mal q el porte , tarta de queso estaba muy rica , cremosa y buena Atención de los camareros y servicio bueno

We arrived and they sat us in a place where we couldn't fit. The food was okay, if you're planning to go for a kebab shop later. There were four of us and we spent almost €300, leaving hungry. The portions were ridiculously small. The potato salad was good, but the baby squid and suckling pig were pathetic. People who eat here must eat very poorly at home to say it's good here... a disgrace! Extremely expensive, spending over €80 per person...

The set menu was a farce, with tiny portions of blatantly cheap ingredients... potatoes, lamb with fat, an unknown sauce with bits of monkfish... the chicken skewer was insulting, it looked like it was made in an air fryer, it was rubbery and tasteless. The menu doesn't even include a wine from this year... the wine list is for those with deep pockets... Starting at 20 euros... The menu also doesn't include coffee... The service was friendly and efficient, the dining area is all in the same space, there's no separate area. I won't be back.
