Everything was terrific! First and foremost the owners and staff were great people. Loved chatting w the husband and wife team. I’d always rather spend money in places w good people. The food was fun, unique and tasty and the “adult beverage” choices were outstanding : ) We were in town three nights and ate there twice. Don’t miss this place if you’re in the area!!!

William was a great attentive waiter that is very knowledgeable about the menu choices on what’s the best personally & is always making sure you are happy with your meals, also makes sure you’re always replenished on drinks! You’re lucky if he’s your waiter! The food is amazing, a bit pricey but the flavors & presentation, atmosphere & attention to the customer is absolutely worth dining here!

Really loved the atmosphere and ambiance here in the Hudson Valley. They used fresh local ingredients along with some Italian imports. My dish, shrimp bruscetta with toasted bread was just the right portion. They accommodated my request for a few charcuterie items since my guest didn't eat meat. I also suggest getting a bottle of wine. I tried the super crisp yet smooth, Epiphany. You can also check one of their crafty cocktails. I'm looking forward to revisiting the bistro soon😋😋😋

So very happy with my visit here! Quinn is a light; very grateful for having her as the waitress. She was very kind and helpful - she offered recommendations and I ordered each of them…. All incredible! The mussels were delicious, the shrimp steam pot was as well! I also had the cole slaw and potato salad which was also delicious! Overall, very happy with our experience. Quinn also offered suggestions with where to go in the area which I did and it made my trip even more magical. Thank you, Quinn! Deeply grateful.

Can't beat two for one burgers! Food is always excellent. The owners are typically there and the service is fantastic. The restaurant is very cozy, kind of rustic with booths and tables and a bar area. There is also an outdoor area. Their wine list as well as beer list and spirit list is extensive! They offer wine pairing dinners and tequila tastings.

A very interesting variety of healthy dishes on the menu that is definitely worth trying! Kudos to Brian, the server, who had been super helpful, attentive, kind and welcoming!

My initial skepticism was quickly dispelled as soon as we started tasting the dishes. We tried four different items, and each one was nothing short of amazing. As someone who is hard to please when it comes to food, I was thoroughly impressed with how they were able to make us so happy. The wine and beer selection complemented the meal perfectly, adding to the overall fantastic experience. Highly recommended!

We found this cute restaurant on a walk through downtown Ellenville. Last night we stopped by get two seats at the bar but there were none. Our lovely server Skyler was able to sit us right away!!! We ordered the mussels appetizer and shared the Asian Chicken main course and it was all delicious. Skyler was wonderful, from explaining all the craft spirits they have to talking up the food. If we find ourselves here again we will be back for sure!!!

Every part of our experience at Aroma Thyme Bistro was superb! The food was fresh, delicious, and plentiful. The different flavors complimented each other perfectly. The leftovers tasted even better the next day! The service was impeccable! Our server, William, was excellent! He was very attentive and knowledgeable about the dishes. He made sure we were completely satisfied with our dining experience.  The staff as a whole did not disappoint. We left Aroma Thyme Bistro feeling very, very satisfied.

Every trip to Aroma Thyme is great for us. The food is phenomenal and the service is top notch. We have never had a bad experience. Most recently we had Rhea as our waitress and she was the most pleasant person ever. My husband and myself are in the service industry and appreciate great service when we go out. Between Rhea and I believe Jamie (the lovely owner) we had a fantastic evening out. They even have live entertainment on occasion which is awesome too. Great food and service tucked in a place you would never expect. We feel like we are abroad when we step in the front doors! We highly recommend Aroma Thyme, just please save us a seat, lol. Jill and I had a wonderful early dinner at Aroma Thyme Bistro yesterday after the Blueberry Festival. A few months ago, after my Mom's funeral, we had her repast at Aroma Thyme as well. The food was top notch gourmet fare every time. Jamie & Marcus took extraordinarily good care of us whether we came for an intimate dinner, or as a large group. Highly recommended and always returning.

If you went to a traditional Mexican spot for Cinco de Mayo....you missed out! The G4 margarita top notch plus and the chilorio tacos were to die for. I dare say the best taco I've ever eaten hands down. Aroma Thyme you never disappoint!! Great service and nothing but the best..always feels like home with a quality unsurpassed by most places. Great experience getting dinner here! The staff is incredibly friendly and the food is delicious. Amazing dessert and red sangria as well :) Our server was William, he went above and beyond to make sure we had a great experience. He was very knowledgeable about the menu and brought a fun sense of humor. Would love to come back next time I’m in the area!

Best Bar & Drink Experience I've had in a while! We came on Labor Day Weekend without a reservation - so we ended up sitting at the bar with Dakota. He's a phenomenal bartender! And as a vegetarian - I ordered the Portabella which comes with mushrooms, potatoes, and green veggies galore. It's pretty much everything I need to stay happy as a vegetarian. Delicious! We're always looking for good places to eat in the area which is so rare. Thank you for having a great bartender, we'll be back. And honestly, your spirit collection is quite impressive, and flipping through that bar book was a trip in itself. Thank you,!

I've witnessed first hand their attention to detail for all their customers (many repeaters) and offering a solution for a less than satisfied customer.

This was such a lovely place, and our server Rhea was attentive to both my friend and I and her dog. I can’t begin to tell you how much we appreciated the service after having called around to several places looking for somewhere dog friendly. The food was delicious and the entire staff (including Ethan and William and the chef) were such a delight. Highly recommend!

Gabriel was an excellent server. Very kind and courteous. The organic fig and mozzarella gourmet pizza was delicious.

The food was really well prepared and sourced from local and grass fed farms. I really loved the wild blueberry crisp al la mode. It didn't taste sugary but like real blueberries. The brisket was delicious, sauce was okay, but the sides were amazing. Steak mac and cheese was really good too. Our waitress was a little inexperienced but overall the service was good. Cocktails were also well done.

This place has everything you would want in a great restaurant / bar.and much more.! First, they offer an excellent and creative menu with fresh ingredients daily. Secondly the service is top notch. The staff is very efficient and personable and the owners have extensive knowledge about everything they serve. They showcase an extensive wine, beer and cocktail list. Aroma Thyme Bistro in itself provides a very warm, relaxed and comfortable atmosphere.. Occasionally the house features talented musicians that play tasteful music. What's not to like (or love for that matter)?

My husband and I went to celebrate our birthdays and tonight we were amazed by the friendly staff and delicious food as always. We have no been coming to Aroma Thyme for 10 years or so. Our waitress Quinn was attentive and met our questions about menu items with a thorough knowledge of the menu and genuine smile. Chef Marcus and Jaime, keep up the amazing job with food and drink which fills our bellies and evokes heart felt conversations and hiring staff like Quinn who make us smile!

We had our surprise engagement lunch here last weekend and I wanted to say thank you so much!! The food was exceptional as it always is, but the service was fantastic - the restaurant opened up early for us and made everything so special. Best restaurant of all time.

The food was fantastic! I had the pear salad with chicken for an entree and the pommadom asa starter. The wine list was not your typical wine list and was incredible! The owner explained the wine variations so that I knew what to expect. Great night all around!!

Aroma Thyme Bistro really is a gem. The atmosphere is very cozy yet still classy. We took a surf and turf approach and everything was to the highest quality. I would say the most impressive part of our dinner was our waiter, William. He is super attentive, patient, very knowledgeable of the food and beverage menu, and just adds warmth to the already warm environment this restaurant provides. We will definitely be coming back!

My husband and I came in on a Sunday night with no reservation, for our wedding anniversary. The ambience is adorable, and romantic simultaneously. Absolutely beautiful, historic with soft lighting. Comfortable, ample seating. Our waitress, Amy, could not have done a better job. She was intensely attentive, patient, quick and answered any/all questions. The food was INSANELY GREAT. Full disclosure, it was an expensive meal (to me), since we ordered 2 appetizers and a meal. We ordered the wings, fig & bacon pizza and the burger. We also each ordered a dessert, the affogato and tiramisu. We had a lot of leftovers. I can't even rank the foods, they were all just so memorable. I feel like we were treated like celebrities, like VIP, royalty. Truly outstanding experience in every which way. I'm excited to return! One of the best restaurants in ALL of NY!!!!

We stopped by after a hike at Sam’s Point for something warm to drink and a snack. Inside was cozy and there were a few booths available for indoor dining, but we opted to sit at the bar. Staff were friendly and helpful without hovering, and they shared suggestions for further hiking and site seeing. Covid safety procedures were in place, and the tea and soup we ordered were hot and flavorful. We look forward to returning on the next trip to Ellenville.

Brian was our waiter. He was truly excellent!!! He is friendly and hospitable, and really wanted to provide the experience we wanted. My friend and I hadn't seen each other in six years and so were looking for a leisurely, unrushed dinner, and Brian totally understood that. He came and checked on us at all the right times, bringing the plates at all the right times. Between Brian and the food it was a fabulous experience all the way around. You will not have a disappointing experience dining here.

Awesome variety of dishes on the menu, unbelievable wine list, food was flavorful and not too heavy, great options for meat eaters and vegetarians alike, and the service was amazing. Our server, William, made us feel right at home and knew so much about all of the wines and dishes. Marcus, the owner, took the time to share personal stories of each of the wines and vineyards from which they came. Fig and bacon pizza was out of this world. I was visiting Ellenville from NYC and the food here was right up there with some of the best we've had in the city!

It must have been the sparkling clean amethyst crystal on the bar that generated perfect harmony all evening! We walked through the old world style restaurant to the magical garden cafe in the back. A 75 year old tree was our table companion. A child delighted in playing hide and seek with its pine cones. (Mom supervised the hunt). A large fan and several outdoor heaters were standing by in case the balmy weather changed. It didn't. Our waitress was very accommodating--giving us only what we could eat on our charcuterie board. We enjoyed mushroom risotto, shrimp scampi, wine, and my favorite--- organic chocolate hazelnut ice cream with chocolate chips!!! They open at 5pm-- check them out in the cutesy part of Ellenville

My brother and I come every year in June for his birthday. We started coming when we lived in Westchester county. A long ride. We now live in Connecticut. An even longer ride, but it’s so worth it. The food is always delicious, the wait staff are always polite and friendly. We’ll be back next year!

I was impressed by every detail from the salt shakers to the sourcing of the food to the owners putting their names on the receipt. I haven’t been to enough Michelin restaurants to know how close this would be but it’s gotta be close. The first time I’ve ever had grilled calamari. Incredible (and well-plated) !! Also has mussels and the shrimp + lobster roll. I don’t even like mussels and I ate several of these…more than a handful. They definitely have a way of playing up the flavors without relying on a bucket of grease. Lots of complimentary dips and dressings. I think my favorite thing of all was the potato salad, which came on the side of my lobster roll. Potato salad is a new love for me, but wow, this restaurant has practically recreated the concept. It’s simple, the perfect mix of creamy and chunky, and the flavors are so smooth. I would go again and literally eat a bowl of potato salad if it were on the menu The most impressive part of this restaurant, in which I unfortunately did not partake, was their wine menu. Extensive pales in the face of this book. I really wish I could have sat there, enjoying the shade, and looking through the wine bible all day. But I didn’t even touch it. I didn’t want to tease myself, knowing that I shouldn’t indulge fresh off a hike and under hydrated.

We had a great meal at Aroma Thyme for my birthday recently! The 4 of us started with a wine tasting of 2 northern Italien whites which were lovely. It came with a tasty shrimp bruschetta/Mozzarella di Bufala and a complimentary cup of Sweet Potato Soup. The food was delicious with generous servings. My husband had the Smoked Gouda Burger, I had the Salmon/mushrooms, and split a Pear Salad with my friend who had the Korean Granite Hot Pot. Her husband had the rib eye steak. We had fun with our waiter Brian too- a great addition to the team at Aroma Thyme! Thanks for a wonderful evening!!

This restaurant has become mine and my wife's favorite special occasion dining location. Beautiful ambiance, great staff and charming owners who enjoy chatting with you and making sure you have a good experience. This past visit, for my birthday, was absolutely delightful and delicious. We love this little gem, it has such a warm and cozy atmosphere. The owners Marcus and Jamie are SERIOUS about their food and drinks. Lots of fresh local ingredients and an extensive wine & beverage list with many unique bottles. Always fun to chat about the menu with the owners and staff, and get their recos. Our favorite is to grab a seat at the bar. I'll typically order my favorite specialty whiskey from Cooper's Daughters and the hummus plate as I'm vegan (they have lots of other vegan options too). My boyfriend, who is the opposite of vegan, usually gets the burger which he raves about...and he is picky. Any night is a good night to go, but on Mondays when everywhere else is dead, this place actually has a vibe going. Also, consider this place for your bday, they have a free dish for the birthday boy/girl. My boyfriend was super happy to get a free steak on his birthday!

My husband and I drove up for a hike the day before going to a wedding, not knowing what to expect for two sober plant strong health conscious eaters for a fun little Saturday night. We found this restaurant through the Happy Cow App and it did not disappoint. We were greeted by friendly staff and seated immediately. There was a great one man band who played requests and let us sing along. The spicy virgin margarita was exceptionally made (reminded me of what they have been doing lately on celebrity cruise which is a complement btw) and my husband's athletic beer was served in the proper glass. The food choices were fresh. We started with the spicy olives, they were too hot for me so we took them home so I can put them into something creative! The pizza dough was unique (we had potatoes as one of our toppings -what!!???) and a tofu peanut hot pot... All pictured here. Tofu was done to perfection. We rounded out the meal (eaten before I remember to take pictures) with organic banana foster served with local vegan cashew ice cream!!! Brian who served as all evening was amazing 🤘☀️🙏 and the atmosphere was eclectic and delightful. We will 100% come back here and bring friends! Cheers, Ryan and Monica

Amazing experience! Dining menu is beautifully curated with bar menu being a literal book. 📕 I’ve only been here once on a friend’s recommendation. Came with 9 friends and service was efficient and friendly. I got the sweet potato soup (so delicate and well-balanced), grilled calamari (absolutely tender - disappeared off the plate) and the wild sustainable catch salmon (perfectly cooked - medium-rare - flavorful, moist and tender). One cool thing about the menu is it tells you where everything is sourced from, and whether it’s organic. It’s so rare that restaurants do this! Their small batch brewery beers are fantastic! I heard the owner curates the bar menu and specializes in Mezcals. They have a huge variety of beers, liquors and wines. Definitely want to come back, over and over, for different pairings.

Went for my birthday with family. Free steak dinner or option to upgrade... who does that! I got $ 30 off my meal because i chose a different steak. Also had a "FIG" old fashioned...amazing. My wife and kids are gluten free and everything was prepared for the as such. The gluten free pizza was good and that doesn't happen often usually gf crusts aren't great. Excellent meal, cool atmosphere and friendly service. We were very happy and since it has GF options close to walker valley we will be back soon and often. Thanks again! Ray

I’d give Aroma 10/5 stars if I could. I can’t believe we live 50 minutes from this place and I’ve never been there. The experience was so good that I jokingly asked my husband if we should move to Ellenville. The cocktails were selected and curated by the owners for us personally, we were able to taste a sip of a few curated tequilas before choosing which one my husband wanted it on the rocks. I had a delicious skinny style margarita. Please look at all the food pictures. The ingredients at this restaurant are sourced from all the finest places. The owners were present on site and they told us about food tours they host in the United States and abroad they find the best quality ingredients to bring back for their customers served in this amazing restaurant! We loved our steak, our octopus, and our Pinsa. I’m dreaming about the baby arugula salad. Everything was divine. Against our better judgment, we went out on Valentines night for dinner, which is something we typically avoid, but because of conflicting weather and schedules going on the holiday night was our only option. The staff breezed through the busy night with ease and we were truly impressed. We cannot wait to go back here on a regular night and just enjoy all of this goodness again there’s so many awesome and unique items on the menu that we can’t wait to try.

Everything about this restaurant is remarkable! Marcus and Jaime know what a great meal entails! The porterhouse was amazing and you can tell Marcus cares about where all his food is sourced. The seasoning on that steak was out of this world! The smoked wings and fig bacon pizza were probably the best I have ever had in either food group. William was our server today. I spoke with him yesterday to make my reservations and mentioned I was driving hour south to get the Lobster & Corn Risotto. Much to my surprise and great pleasure he made sure there was a portion saved for me. ♥️ As we were deciding on an appetizer, we accidentally knocked over a drink that had just been served. William was right there to clean up and a new drink appeared before he was finished. He didn’t bat an eye when we asked for small plates to share. William was wonderful in helping me decide on a non alcoholic drink, lemonade with rosemary, and the desert, Maine Blueberry Crisp Al a Mode(with a non dairy gelato. It was a great experience, with food that was fabulous and fresh. If I had to change anything, it would be lighting inside or I’d dine outside in the sun. The atmosphere was perfect otherwise. William made our experience so much better, by knowing when and how often to check on us. 5+ Stars for William!

We have enjoyed many meals here. I recently enjoy a strip steak there for my birthday. My husband had a fig pizza, both were excellent. On that occasion we also had some grilled asparagus and it was absolutely outstanding. Aroma Thyme is one of the best restaurants in the area. They have a great selection of spirits and an excellent bartender.

Amazing food. Amazing management & staff. I had been working upstate and stopped by for a quick dinner before heading my two hour commute downstate. A quick dinner turned into a two hour beautiful dining experience. The entire staff and management were so kind, you can tell this establishment really cares about their customers. The bartenders Patrick and Alex were so nice. Food was delicious. I will definitely be returning!

The atmosphere inside is great, a fun, lively vibe with live music. We sat out the back as we had our dog. Great, friendly and welcoming service. We had the burger which was tasty but not amazing. Unfortunately they took 55 minutes to get to us and we'd nearly drunk our bottle of wine but a nice experience apart from that.

A creative haven for lunch! We visited Aroma Thyme Bistro on our second day of staycation and were enchanted by the artistic atmosphere. The service was sweet and attentive, and the food was not only delicious but also generously portioned. To top it off, their drinks were expertly crafted and packed a punch! A perfect spot for a creative lunch escape. 4/5 stars!

Food was excellent! Drinks were strong instead of tasty. One came wrong, with salt on the rim instead of sugar. The waitress took it back to the bar, bartender had stepped away. Lady behind the bar got a new glass, sugared the rim, then dumped the drink from the original glass over the salted rim into the new glass : /

My husband and I travel two hours to get here, as we occasionally meet others from upstate for dinner. Because we are vegan, it is a convenient spot for us. The vegan options change, and some are really good. This dish, the polenta, was not one of my favorites. I feel it lacked flavor, and the combination of items on the plate wasn't my favorite. My husband ordered the chickpea burger, which is a real keeper! The vegan desserts are always good, and I appreciate the optional vegan cheese on some of the menu items. I do wish the vegan menu would be slightly expanded, and I thank you for the options. Please bring back some of your seitan dishes!

Cocktails are great, highly recommend. Food was good, got the ribeye, it was cooked as I asked, tender as well. I was hoping for more flavor, but thats likely my own personal preference. The creamy shrimp and pumpkin pasta was nice. I came expecting to order the octopus, which the had recently taken off the menu. I would go back for drinks and maybe try the pizzas next time. I wasn't blown away by the meal (once again that's me personally). Out of the 3 desserts we got, I can reccommend the s'mores skillet. Delicious. The torte was nice and rich, like a dark fudge. The staff and owners were very accomadating and nice.

I found this place randomly after a Long Day on the road, I was passing through the area and Thisbplace is a hidden gem! All farm to table with an extensive wine list, I was welcomed right in and I chose to sit in the back patio courtyard with my kids, it was peaceful and the meal was beyond my expectations for the area. I had a Ribeye and didnt leave one bite on the plate. Highly recommend, the staff was so friendly and accommodating. If I'm ever in that area again, I will Definitely return for another meal! It really was great!

I wish I can give them a higher review. Pros: - Patrick, the server, was very friendly and kind. We enjoyed his amiability. All the staff were very nice to us and our 1 year old! - Nice decor and ambiance - Vast and extensive menu, I want to try so many things! Cons: - Food took a long time. I get it with staffing issues everywhere. Nonetheless, this affects the dining experience - 2lbs of mussels - was good. Not the best. Not the worst. It came with whole wheat toast. I think better if it came with fries. - 10 oz ribeye - sauce was too sweet. The specific cut we received was not great. Lots of tough pieces. - scallops, octopus, wild boar belly on chickpeas dish - I liked this dish and really want to like it more. I loved that it was all protein. The base/sauce was slightly too tomato-y and slightly acidic. For the reputation and reviews I expected slightly more. Would be willing to try again if nearby since so much on the menu.

Mothers Day: Very expensive for food quality and quantity. Needs a refresh and good cleaning inside. Food is not culinary cutting edge, feels like out of date trends menu with way to many descriptive words to justify price. Long wait and waiter not around much.

Previous visits were always wonderful, but tonight was mediocre. We stopped by for after dinner dessert and coffee. Restaurant staff were slammed with getting customers out in time for the 8pm show at Shadowlands. On the positive side, the staff were up front that our table service would be limited. On the negative side, they showed their stress. We ordered the Dark Chocolate Fudge Torte and the Wild Maine Blueberry Crisp Ala Mode. Both were disappointing. We were told the Blueberry Crisp would be tart. It wasn't. Overpoweringly sweet. As for the Fudge Torte, it wasn't anything special. No nuance ... decadently rich.

**Mixed Experience – Hoping It Was an Off Night** Visited on 7/24. We left feeling both relieved and disappointed. Relieved that we didn’t splurge on the higher-priced entrees, but disappointed that what’s advertised as the “best burger in town” fell flat. The pork sliders were tasty and well-prepared — definitely the highlight of the meal. My wife’s fig pizza, however, was a letdown. The figs were burnt to the point of being inedible, and when we brought it up with our server, we were told it was part of the caramelization process. Unfortunately, these were more rock-hard than caramelized. That said, the crust and toppings (cheese and bacon) were flavorful, though the large pile of arugula on top didn’t quite work and felt out of place. As for the burger — it was dry and overcooked, with the bacon barely noticeable and a tough shallot slice that didn’t add much. On the bright side, the live music was enjoyable and the bar had a nice atmosphere. It’s possible we caught the kitchen on a rough night, as we noticed two other tables also sent food back. In the end, for the price point, the food quality just didn’t deliver. A local passerby even mentioned she avoids the place, though admitted it’s the better of the two nearby spots. We won’t be rushing back, but hope this was just an off evening.

Good service, nice drinks, just don't order the steak. I ordered medium-rare and it was well-done. Dry leather like. I wouldn't be so upset except it was expensive.

I decided to take my husband and our four kids here for Father's day. We had dined here before and we enjoyed it very much. That was not the case yesterday. I'll start with the good...the staff was very nice, the drinks were very good as were the appetizers (hummus, burrata, prosciutto) and we liked the outdoor area. Now I understand it was Father's day but honestly it was steady, not crazy busy. Our waitress was gone for long periods of time, as we waited a long time for our food our waitress said our food was coming out soon(it didn't) that it was delayed due to my son's order which was a steak?! We waited to get our food an hour and a half and we were so disappointed. The mushroom risotto was very oily, the salmon was good but very thin, the wings were burnt and some were not cooked all the way, the brisket was not very good and the worst was the paper thin "margarita pizza" which was soggy and tasteless. For the price you would think they would put more thought and care into their dishes. I will also say it was very chaotic as in the way the staff was distributing food, you never got the same person and it was hard to get their attention. We did see what we think was the owner and it didn't seem like he was helping much, he was basically talking to this diner almost the whole time instead of helping his staff. I don't usually leave bad reviews because I know sometimes things happen but it's a shame that such a nice place left such a bad impression on our family.

Here is my feedback regarding my recent dining experience on April 12th. I visited your restaurant with my two children after a day at Belleayre, based on what I had seen were generally positive reviews. We ordered a range of dishes, including the arugula salad, pureed bean soup, beets with hummus, two hot pot shrimp, risotto with seafood, a small pasta dish with tomato sauce, and mussels. The total bill was $226, including the tip. As someone who has been cooking for 44 years, using fresh, organic, quality ingredients is very, very important to me. Unfortunately, the quality of the food did not meet expectations which is very sad. Here are my observations: - Arugula Salad: This was simple and tasty. - Pasta: The pasta was undercooked and hard. - Risotto: The risotto had a decent flavor, but the cheese was overpowering. Typically, risotto uses a softer cheese. - Beet Salad: The beets had a metallic taste, suggesting they may not have been fresh. - Pureed Bean Soup: The soup was excessively salty and had an unusual canned flavor. - Hot Shrimp Pot: I was particularly disappointed with this dish. The shrimp tasted like they were frozen and not properly prepared. Additionally, the serving bowl was too small, causing the food to overflow; the brown rice was hard; the veggies were tasty. * Mussels with Garlic: The mussels were swimming in an excessive amount of oil, approximately four ounces of liquid. I hope this feedback is helpful in improving the dining experience for future customers and helps the owners too.

Saw multiple reviews calling this the best farm to table restaurant in the Hudson Valley. We were very underwhelmed, the hot pot has zero seasoning and you apply a scant amount of sauce yourself, the rest of the menu seemed like something you'd find at an overpriced country club, and the cocktails were underwhelming. The ingredients for the food/drink seemed interesting but didn't follow through. This would be an okay place for a small town, but would not drive out of my way to go here and there are many other choices in the area. Staff were very attentive which was a positive.

Went back to this old favorite and was not pleased. Server was wonderful, burgers were way over cooked (all three). Brisket was not wonderful, sauce was very tangy and not very pleasant. Pic is a very well done burger that should have been medium.

Went to celebrate birthday dinner. Had a free steak diner. Ordered a liquir drink salad and a burger. Service was awful. Sat for at least twenty minutes and no one came to check and see if we needed anyrhing.The owner gave excuses and never apologized. We traveled 1.5 hrs to get to this restuarant. I told the owner this. I would have given the drink back if someone would have come over to us. It was awful and it cost 15.00 for that drink. I will never go back to that restaursnt.

An expensive disaster. Arrived at our pre-booked table at 6pm for a relaxed meal before Shadowland at 8pm. By 7:20, no food (not even appetizers) had been served to us. By 7:50 our waiter, effectively abandoned us, leaving a waitress to put my scalding 'Hot Pot' into a doggie bag explaining they had 'lost our ticket'. Despite the debacle, no comp was offered of any type, barely an apology. What should have been a lovely evening, was ruined.
