Started with fried wonton and crab ragoon. I had the shrimp with lobster sauce, possibly the best I have ever had, they add fresh veggies to their sauce- I was pleased. My hubby had the sweet n sour chicken, he said it was a little over cooked. The appetizers were homemade- no sysco here. The inside is spotless! Once seated you are brought hot tea (I believe it was Oolong- yummy) and iced water. The portions are large, we both have enough for dinner tonight! Highly recommend. The atmosphere I gave 3 stars only because it was unremarkable, however super clean!

The portions are large and the service was good. They accommodated my wife's request to make the chicken fried rice spicy. The sesame chicken didn't have flavor. The chicken lo mein though tasty had way too many vegetables and not enough chicken or noodles. The ice machine was broken so the water was lukewarm and couldn't get any soda. The crab Rangoon had hardly any crab meat

This was my first time trying this restaurant. The exterior of the restaurant doesn't match the interior. It looks like it was recently renovated. I thought it was nice and basic. Service was good. This is not your typical chinese restaurant with a full plate of your choice of entree and side of rice in a bowl that you can share with whom your eating with. You are served with hot tea and water immediately. The presentation of the food looked high end and neatly placed on plates. The only reason I gave the food a 3 is because it lacks flavor, basically salt. The chicken was nicely breaded, but lacked taste. The only ingredient that adds taste is the sauce poured on top. The house soup is a resemblance to chicken noodle soup and could also use more flavor. The two foods that had flavor were the egg roll and fried rice.

First time trying after seeing current reviews. Ordered a combo plate (to-go) with broccoli beef and orange chicken. Thought it was pretty pricey @$21.50 but it was a lot of food and being take out, I was pleasantly surprised that the soup was included. The 2 choices for the combo were VERY uneven. The broccoli/beef took up half the container and the orange chicken took up 1/4. I suppose if you have a true favorite, maybe you can ask for that to fill up the main portion of the container vs the other. After I took the pictures and had a bite, I noticed something strange with the broccoli beef. It had very few pieces of broccoli and a good amount of cabbage and zucchini instead. Don't get me wrong, it was delicious and the beef was super tender (possibly one of the best Ive had honestly) BUT...change the name to veggies and beef if it's not going to be actual broccoli (there was very little!). The orange chicken was pretty good and had some spice to it. It was still piping hot after getting it home as well! Overall I was very satisfied and we look forward to trying it out more as a family!

I had the princess prawns, they were good. Although my family ate some different variations of chicken and didn't taste super flavorful, mild taste of cardboard.

I recently had the chance to visit the newly remodeled PeKing Chinese Restaurant. The updated decor is modern and inviting, giving the place a fresh and pleasant ambiance. The menu boasts a wide selection of dishes, catering to diverse tastes. I was particularly impressed with the quality of the food and its delightful presentation. However, some aspects of my experience left much to be desired. Upon being seated, we were served tea, which is always a nice touch. Unfortunately, it was lukewarm at best. Even after requesting hotter tea, the new tea was only marginally warmer. That said, the table presentation when we sat down was nice and added to the overall dining experience. However, the most significant issue was the service. Our server seemed rushed and didn't check in to see if everything was okay or if we needed anything else. We were handed the check without being asked if we were satisfied with our meal, and our drinks were never refilled. Additionally, the food came out one plate at a time, with a five-minute gap between the first and third dishes, which made the dining experience feel disjointed. In summary, while PeKing Chinese Restaurant offers a commendable menu with good-quality food, the service and attention to detail need significant improvement. With some adjustments, this establishment could provide a much better dining experience.

The service from the workers were fantastic. Its been many years since I've been in and with the remodel it's cold and loud. I miss the old Peking. Also the food was not as good as it used to be except the Mongolian beef was still good. Portion sizes way down. And prices way up. Used to have very private booths now it's all hard chairs so every sound echos.

I usually don’t leave reviews, especially bad ones because there’s enough negativity in the world. As a 35+ year customer, I feel that this review is important and necessary. In an attempt warn people that are going to spend their hard earned money, on a meal out or to be picked up for a night at home. Ever since the PeKing has changed hands it has been on the decline. After multiple times of receiving consistently smaller portions, made with what appears to be lower quality ingredients. At first, it was just the portion sizes being smaller. But now along with the portions continuing to shrink, they’re using what seams to be lower quality ingredients as well as microwaving items that should be cooked via other methods in order to save money and or time, all the while continuing to raise their prices. I hope this review will help you with your dining decisions.

It's been 10 years since I dined here and it was not good so thought I would try again. Huge disappointment. Ordered the General Tso chicken. Normally this has a subtle heat in a brown hoisin sauce or brown sugar/honey with red chilies or chili garlic sauce. This was presented in a bright red sauce with jalapeno's!! I would try to describe the taste but the first bite burned my mouth and I like spicy foods. It looked like they heated sweet and sour sauce and threw in jalapeno's. Terrible! I won't be trying again.

We’ve talked about trying their food for years, and finally got takeout. Bland, boring, absolutely lame dishes. Unimaginative and lacking any flavor whatsoever, and left us both the gift of stomachaches afterwards. Go anywhere else!

Showed up at 6pm to have a nice dinner, left at 6:55pm without eating a dinner. The 4 individuals seated after us received there dinner and watched them receive to go boxes as well. Then the server came to our table and said thier going to take our crispy veg. Appetizer off our ticket, my husband asked what happened, server states they lost our ticket and verified what he ordered. We asked them to box our order to go now. Server came back and asked what I ordered. Husband just asked them to cancel our dinner and what do we owe for one drink. They replied nothing. So frustrating, we just wanted to sit and eat a nice dinner but instead wasted an hour of our evening.

Don't order the chicken fried rice or egg rolls. Leftovers day 2 don't sit well in your stomach. Not to mention that this was the whitest chicken fried rice with little, and bland, chicken that I've had in a long while.

Food could have been hotter. Portions were good. There could have been more flavor, food was very plain! Service was good, she did make mistakes but was quick to correct them. Noticed when she was serving others. Egg soup was the only think I enjoyed. We ordered veggie chicken fried rice to go and when we got home the fried rice was plain no flavor and veggies were under cooked.
