Food is hit or miss. Sometimes great sometimes not. The 24hour opening is NEVER the case, you call late night and the phone rings with no answer. But my main purpose of this review is to talk about the front staff. They are HORRIBLE! Especially one particular person, JERMAINE. He ALWAYS has a nasty attitude like if he doesn't like his job. He hangs up the phone mid order, then when you call back, a different person conveniently answers to complete the call. He has NO BUSINESS being in the front, dealing with people. Its bad enough they overcharge AND add sneak fees that you dont see unless you request a receipt. But having to deal with staff like this makes the purchase just.. not worth it. Plenty of corner delis that charge HALF the price, sometimes more. Definitely won't be returning until they purge that location and hire ALL NEW STAFF!! Preferably friendly staff who want to do the job!

This place used to be phenomenal and my go to for late night eats since they were open 24/7. However every aspect of this place has fallen off a cliff. The heros are half empty, the prices are crazy for non existent portions, the staff is rude, no matter how small the order is there is always something incorrect, the place is filthy, and the phone is never picked up

So....A chopped cheese is a staple in NY. And a "staple" here, according to the staff. But it's NOT. For starters....should cheese be on the meat?? I think so. Plus I asked for the cheese to be melted on the meat and still melted on the bread. Also, no seasoning in the meat, like come on. I might have to give you all a lesson, bc its really not that hard. For what you charge, it should taste up to par. I will not be back.

Been coming here for years. When the feel the need to they will make your sandwich incorrectly and charge you a boatload of money then refuse to fix it I paid for a half and half sandwich and they put more of the protein that they choose instead of half and half which is what I actually paid for. When I asked for a manager the deli clerk whom I know for a fact is NOT the manager lied and said that she is and refused to make my sandwich incorrectly if I’m paying 15 dollars alone for just the sandwich why should I not expect it to be correct. Also the sandwich was sloppy as hell

Absolutely incompetent. Who puts waffle fries and cole slaw INSIDE THE BURGER!? I’m surprised they didn’t pour my Coke inside the burger too. Never again.

I recently visited Cherry Valley and unfortunately had a disappointing experience. The customer service left much to be desired; the person who took my order over the phone was not only unhelpful but also seemed slightly rude, which set a negative tone for my visit. When I finally received my food, I was shocked at the quality given the price. The French toast was simply toasted sliced bread with a light dusting of powdered sugar, no egg or cinnamon—not at all what I expected. Additionally, the bacon was undercooked, which was a stark contrast to what I remembered from my previous visits. Since the change of ownership, it seems that the quality of food has declined significantly. I had high hopes for my meal, but unfortunately, I left feeling disappointed and unlikely to return. I hope they can address these issues and improve both their service and food quality in the future.

The bread was very fresh for a sandwich that I ordered at 9PM. I’m a bit disappointed the BLT hero I ordered was more of a lettuce and tomato hero…where’s the bacon. I’ve never been served a BLT ever with 3 pieces of bacon on the sandwich. For $13, I expected better.

I have been coming here for years. The service is good usually speedy. But over the years the quality of the food is just plummeting. The food is always fresh but the portions of the sandwiches such as the chicken cutlet are off. Now I am a super understanding person when it comes this but the best they can do is try to make it even on both sides. I left the receipt below so you can see the prices of these low quality sandwiches.Now they did offer me my money back but that’s not the point as a returning customer I just want well portioned food. I asked if they could just remake them and they did without a problem. Other than that they did not offer anything for the time I had to waste to come back. The taste is great- just you’ll be only getting one half of a sandwich. 👍🏾 Waste of time and money

I’m completely disgusted with the customer service at the West Hempstead location. I ordered through Ubereats. I laid each detail of what I wanted in my order which is given to the STORE. They put bacon which I’m allergic to on my sandwich! Thank God I knew to check it before biting into. Then they didn’t add the extra items that’s not listed on ubereats to the order. I’m confused on how they messed this order up because they are the ones who attach the receipt listing my exact order & then I try to contact the driver & the store multiple times & no answer. How convenient not to answer the phone when you mess up somebody’s order. Very disgusting & careless.
