The Villager is a great little hidden spot in the Babylon bar scene. Steps away from the LIRR, it's a great spot to grab quality craft beer at affordable prices before hopping on the train. With over twenty beers on tap, and a fair amount of them local to Long Island and the New York tristate area, The Villager is a fantastic place to try that hard to find keg. The food is outstanding as well, with some juicy burgers on English muffins to pair with that killer beer. Highly recommend checking them out!

Honestly those mozzarella with pesto is just a kiss for the first time. They had an oyster event with blue point & casa amigos. IT WAS GREAT !! Even the service from bluepoint was on point. Raw clams were perfect. Wings & sauce were great !! Happy hour all in one. This place is excellent. The bartenders too be working hard to get out everyone drink !!

Love it here! They always have awesome sour beers. They have a good happy hour during the week if you sit at the bar, with deals on certain apps and drinks. The Bleeker St. Burger is absolutely delicious - the maple aioli is the perfect touch!

Monday through Thursday 3:00 p.m. to 3:00 a.m. full bar full menu even longer on like Friday and Saturday or something like that. Sunday might be like an early night I think. But nobody's open like they are. There's a cool mixed age crowd. Great stuff

They have a great craft beer menu- options you don't normally find in bar/restaurants. Usually have at least 2 cider option available. Good cocktails for reasonable prices as well. The wait staff is friendly and pretty helpful if you have food allergies. All around good food, good service, good atmosphere.

We were in the area for a dance competition had a 12 person group of kids and adults and managed to find seating on a Saturday about 6:00. Service was great. Everyone enjoyed their food and drink with something for everyone to eat. The portions were big. If we were local we would definitely be here often.

My favorite bar in LI. They have an amazing beer rotation. The bartenders are also just amazing! Extremely nice and willing to let you sample some beers before you make your decision. They have a great HH deals here too. Thursday’s it’s all day long. It can get pretty crowded in here so beware. We have always managed to get a seat somehow though lol! Give this place a try! I first came to The Villager for a New Years celebration and was underwhelmed by the all inclusive snack items, though the drinks were amazing! I then came back during a normal night and was very impressed with their food selection, service, and drink selection!! Definitely a local favorite for good food open late with a great bar!

Great food and drinks! The Italian flatbread is amazing and so is the Mexican corn dip! Also love how they carry the Sand City Vespa!

It was our first time at the villager and we started off with an order of Spaceballs which were out of this world. I definitely recommend to anybody who hasn’t tried them. For dinner we shared the DPA Dip with The Villager’s famous tater tots, and a Diablo burger with Fries. It took me a while to figure out what I wanted, everything on the menu sounded so good. Thankfully our wonderful waitress Orlaith was very helpful and knowledgeable about their menu and was able to help me make a decision. Everything we had was excellent and the waiting staff were all very friendly. I will definitely be returning in the future and would recommend The Villager to anyone.

This a an amazing experience, with an awesome staff all around. The drink selection is top notch, and the food is on par with some of the best restaurants I have been to. Not over price, and the people here give off a great vibe. I recommend for dessert to get the rainbow cookie coffee.

Although my visit here was nothing more than a brief lay-over, I instantly fell in love with this place. The staff was very warm and welcoming, greeting customers and guests as if they were all regulars. The beer list was amazing, probably the best I’ve seen in a pub this far out east. I wasn’t able to sample the menu, but the plates that were being delivered to patrons looked absolutely delicious. I’m looking forward to visiting the next time I’m in the area.

Helped a friend move into Babylon and stopped by here after a long day of movement. Service was great with attentive staff , atmosphere was chill. And the menu?! was a true challenge to pick items as everything sounds delicious. Went simple with buffalo wings, cooked to perfection and delicious taste. Shared a burger that had goat cheese and fig jam with candied bacon?! Delicious!! So much more on the menu to try, I’m not from Long Island but will be back to try more things!

This place has a great selection of beers, including a few from SandCity brewery. The food is excellent. I had ordered some wings that were perfectly done and glazed with their carolina sauce. My wife had a dish that had a large pretzel, seasoned waffle fries, mozzarella sticks, and boneless wings. The regular Buffalo sauce was a little spicier than she anticipated. I believe they brought out about five sauces for her dish. Marinara, mustard, melted gouda cheese, blue cheese, and some other unidentifiable sauce that has a strong vinegar flavor but was really good. Great ambiance, the music they played was awesome. This place is worth checking out.

Kyle & Reyes are literally the backbone of this establishment. Hands town the best esthetic in Babylon. Food is great too! 10/10, would 100% recommend. Shoutout to Mary for holding down all the tables also! The best!!!!

Food standards are high for Bistro and bar food on Long Island and the Villager does not disappoint in variety or quality. Nor does its ever changing list of regional and local beers on tap. Quite a good Guinness as well. A Very good attentive staff as well. Food here is TOP quality and creative Bistro/pub food.

We can here unexpectedly on Friday Valentines day andwec we're not disappointed. Our eyes were immediately drawn to the extensive beer wall but (surprisingly) what was even better was the food. Since we couldn't narrow down what we wanted, we got it all! Birria Ramen, Thai lettuce wraps, Mexican street corn dip and the triple b sliders. The favors in the Ramen broth was bold, we could have had that as our beverage. The lettuce wraps were stacked with chicken and the 2 sauces (sweet chili & thai peanut) mixed incredibly well together. Our waitress (forgive me, I forget her name) not only understood our dilemma with what to order but contributed to the feeling by expressing she's worked there for 4 years and she still had a hard time deciding. You could tell it is a spot that would turn into a party for the weekend so be prepared for the vibes. All in all, didn't expect to have such a flavor experience. Would definitely come back

The Villager in Babylon is one of my favorite spots! The boneless wings, fries, and ramen are all amazing, and they always have a great selection of beer on tap. My go-to drink here is their espresso martini — it’s the best around. The bar staff and servers are always super friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere feels really welcoming. I also feel very safe here — the bouncers are always present, respectful, and helpful. One night when I felt unsafe leaving, they even walked me to my Uber, which meant a lot. We sat outside again and the wings are great(we had Thai chili and the general chow's... Both excellent!), the harvest "so good"! Have a Mango Cider so tasty, was just what the "dr ordered" had to have two. And so should you!

If I could give this place a 10 - I would!!! I never write reviews until after I leave but this place is so amazing I have pull away from my group to write my review. It’s 4:00ish in the afternoon and this place is hopping! Clearly the locals support it and I can see why. The place has a super fun vibe. It’s loud but that’s what gives it character. Dennis was our server and he attentive without being over bearing. Give that man a raise! They have a rock solid beer selection and all the food that’s gone by looks fantastic. If you’re in the area or driving by - pull over and enjoy the energy of this place.

Solid food, bar service is great. Solid overall bar and restaurant with inviting vibes. Feels like the good old neighborhood bar that would benefit from interior updating, but it's a part of the charm.

We go there often,sometimes weekly ,the staff is the best ,very attentive and never waiting on service , the only thing I would add is a larger selection of beers,like Becks or Peroni ,but otherwise a great place

This is our second time here and it was amazing . The place does get crowed but empties out fast . The beer selection is 23 beers on tap and great choices . . The food menu is small but amazing . The burgers are juicy and thick and out of this world .

Excellent beer selection. Great bar staff that knows how to make mixed drinks as well. The Slaw Burger, Bang Bang shrimp and Seasonal Salad were an excellent. We were there in a very cold night so the place was not crowded like other Saturday nights. If I lived closer, this place would be a regular stop.

A bar who's exterior reflects the interior well. Nice sign and front that appears to have seen better days. The inside has that hole in the wall bar feel. Long bar on one side with limited seating, decent amount of standing room, and several shabby tables and chairs that looked like they were first purchased a few owners ago. There are many IPAs and craft beer on tap and bottle and with a decent variety of hard liquor. Regular hard food. There really isn't much to this place. It would be goie place to socialize except they have the music blaring so loud it was easier hearing the people shouting at each other the next table over than hearing the person talking to you. Other than locale, there is nothing to justify the prices. Good idea behind the bar but lack of effort and execution makes it a poor substitute for any of the competitors in town or nearby.

This is an excellent bar with good food, an impressive drink board. We had the pineapple cider and a flatbread. Both were very good. The only negative I had was that the service at a table was slow. So slow that I almost felt I should have ordered at the bar and brought it back to the table. Toward the end a waitress from other tables had to help us with the final bill and payment. However, I only took one star away because the interactions with the staff, even during delays, was positive and friendly. Overall, I would recommend this place for a relaxing drink and a few quick bites. I can see the place getting packed quickly but worth it.

Service was good. Server at the counter very attentive even with a packed house. Better then average classic american fair. So many great restaurants in Babylon but parking is so difficult. I'll probably go back during the week but if parking is as difficult as last time I'll probably just leave.

Good bar food. Nice selection on tap, except lacking many dark beers. However, they made up for it by having Goose Island Stout on tap! Burger and fries were tasty, as were appetizers we shared.

The food here is always good. The music is also always on point with a very large variety. They have a tremendously large menu of craft beers & a full bar. They're family friendly during the day and my daughter loves their brunch and lunch menus. There are always seasonal specials available as well. Service is hit or miss depending upon who you get as a server but the food always makes up for it.

Food was pretty good here. I’m not in Long Island a lot but the turkey sandwich was really good and so were the sweet potato tots with their sweet dipping sauce. The Gyro was unlike any gyro I’ve seen. Instead of filling the pita they sandwiched the filling between two pitas. The chicken was flavorful and the portion size was considerable. Not a bad spot.

The food is good, I order here from work a lot.. only thing is they don’t get the order right a lot by of the time. I’ve asked for no ranch because I can’t have it and gotten it on my wrap still, a few times now. The food is great though and I love their tater tots. So I’ll prob keep trying lol

Tasty food, large beer selection, strong cocktails, but BEWARE IF YOU HAVE FOOD ALLERGIES OR DIETARY RESTRICTIONS!! Their one “vegan” dish uses yogurt… the waitress and the kitchen were unaware that yogurt was not vegan, so I don’t trust that they’re properly preparing food when given restrictions.

Waiter was really rude. I love this place but I went here tonight and got a late night meal with my boyfriend to take home for dinner, waiter seemed like I was bothering him even though it was a 15 second interaction. Treated me like I wasn’t worthy even make eye contact with me or say a type of “you’re welcome” when I thanked him.

Amazing food. Joe & Rob are amazing. Was going there for over a year multiple times a week until I was EXTREMELY disrespected by the bartender “Bryan.” Very disrespectful person and will no longer be supporting this business after being disrespected by bryan & told I’m no longer welcomed after defending myself. Otherwise everything Is Great! Avoid bryan as your bartender.

I used to love this place especially the bartenders but management and the bouncers have stopped me from going. My first strike was having uniforms with the Blue Lives Matter flag embroidered on, which, is just a reactionary "movement" to put down the legitimate concerns of what BLM is about. Last night was exceptionally appalling after a fight broke out. A man of color somehow got caught in the crossfire's but I didn't see him instigate or participate but he ended up getting kicked out. My heart was honestly breaking to see him and his friends walk away so angry, frustrated, defeated while yelling, "I didn't even touch him." Then someone told him, "you shouldn't have come here," and I understand the undertone of what they meant by that. I wish there was more I could do than just hope this sheds some light to other people on the racist attitudes of this establishment.

I moved away a few months ago and was so excited to come back and visit and come to the villager specifically! (I bartended and lived in Babylon for years so this place is so close to my heart) I came back with two friends to grab a few beers and listen to jhaus and was so excited. Unfortunately the bartender Kyle decided to cut our night extremely short when he decided that he wanted me and my two friends who weren’t even sitting near the bar to leave after already serving us one round. He told me and my friends to leave because of a misunderstanding that happened 2 years ago. If management wants to contact me to explain the misunderstanding I would be happy to elaborate. But I’m so disappointed in the service I was provided. Thank you for ruining my visit home and treating customers/industry workers this way.

It is a nice place but the food it’s terrible. We order chicken wings and they were over cooked. Then we order wrap bacon shrimp and they were over cooked as well. They were dry and not tasty at all. We will never come back. And if you wanna save some many and get good food choose somewhere else.

The bouncers at The Villager in Babylon are some of the nastiest I’ve ever dealt with. They act like they own the place and talk down to people for no reason. Totally ruined the vibe. Save yourself the attitude and go literally anywhere else in Babylon… plenty of spots where they actually know how to treat people.

My friend and I stopped in for Tuesday happy hour at 4pm. Although the bar was almost full, we were seated at a high-top nearby. We ordered several drinks and appetizers from the happy hour menu. When the check arrived, none of the happy hour prices were applied. We politely brought this to our server's attention. She immediately became agitated and informed us that happy hour is only for bar seats. While we understand that policy is noted, we have been seated at these high-tops—and even in booths—multiple times in the past when the bar was full and have always received the happy hour pricing. When we tried to explain this, she quickly shut us down, stating she's worked there for seven years and they could "NEVER" make that exception. Unwilling to argue, we paid the full tab and left. The issue isn't the policy itself, but the inflexible and confrontational way it was enforced, contradicting our past experiences. It's a shame that one interaction has eroded our loyalty, but we won't be returning to The Villager or other Lilly's establishments.

Deeply disappointed with this establishment. During our visit, a bouncer named Mike, significantly larger than my young female friend, became physically aggressive, leaving her with visible injuries. What’s even more troubling is the complete lack of accountability from management. There has been no apology, no support, and no action taken to address this disturbing incident. The fact that Mike continues to work there speaks volumes about how little this place values customer safety and basic decency. Truly unacceptable and alarming behavior.

If you value your safety, do not go to The Villager in Babylon. The bouncers here are on an absolute power trip... aggressive, ego-driven, and completely unprofessional. Watching them shove around young petite women like it’s some kind of sport is disgusting and dangerous. There are plenty of great bars in Babylon that don’t employ men on roid-fueled ego trips and actually respect their patrons. The management should be ashamed to have staff like this representing their business. Save yourself the trouble and head down the block to any other establishment.

Absolutely disgusting place. The bouncer physically shoved my friend, a 22-year-old girl, for no reason and injured her, and the staff just stood there and did nothing. She was bruised and cut pretty bad after. He literally got away with it like it was normal. No apology, no manager stepping in, nothing. I’ve been to plenty of bars around here and have never seen behavior this horrible or unprofessional. If you care at all about your safety or basic decency, avoid this place. The staff clearly doesn’t.
