Chicken express is so good. This location is legit. Get the corn fritters. And obviously the chicken. And their special spiced salt. 10/10 would eat here every day

Of all the nice restaurants in Wichita Falls, I chose Chicken Express for my birthday dinner. It's not fancy and no table waiters... But they have THE Best fried catfish, ANYWHERE. And Love, love, love Their fried "chicken-on-the-bone." Perfect

I got the gizzard, they Fried a fresh batch, which is perfect. The Chicken Box down the road cooks a mountain of them then tries to sell them all day long...WRONG!!! Chicken E is now my go-to for gizzards. The tenders are always great at this location.

Yum. It did take a while to get our order. It was the time of day most people are getting dinner. They seemed to run out of all chicken and had to wait for it to cook. It was hot and fresh when we got it... Worth the wait.

Man, the cook or someone let us exchange our chicken mixed meal here for tenders (our mistake) and not only let us swap ot out but insisted we get the 15 piece instead of the 8 because the price was the same. Five stars, would do six but that’s impossible. What a great place and staff! If any harm comes to this staff, I’m coming after you! Me! Me in the flesh! I’ll defend anyone on the staff with my life! I’d take a bullet for them, understand me!

The fried okra is to die for. Good tea, good chicken, good yeast roll, but excellent okra! Thanks for the great service and good dinner, it was as enjoyable as fast food can be. It was my first visit, but I'll be back regularly for the okra for sure.

Love chicken express, only thing is it's always a 10 min wait or more for spicy chicken tenders or for fish for my kid that don't like the tenders. Has happened like this at least 6 times already.. just fair warning..👍

What a good chicken Express Chicken Express is generally pretty good. It's one of the better fast food chicken places in the world according to me Now according to some they hit the crunch but the crunches wouldn't makes it so delectable and crunchy and savory and good well what I recommend it. Yes, I definitely would because I think it is one of the better chicken restaurants and this location is particularly nice. It is a very good location and it is very close to the college If you were. If you want to go eat and you live at the college or you live near college and you want chicken get here or get canes but I like here and you should just every once in a while I'll switch it up. So yeah, definitely come eat it this chicken Express because it is one of the better ones in town.

They are very generous with the food. I asked for a3 piece chicken strip and got two extra pieces and a whole lot of fried okra. Wasn't busy at all around130 or 2 pm. Staff was nice and the place was clean. Great job guys. Food was hot

I was a Golden Chick patron for years and years until we got Chicken Express. I love their chicken, but they also do some really good things for the student groups and organizations in the area. Additionally, they get you through the line quite quickly, with food that is hot and fresh. They're servings of tenders are ample, and they have good coleslaw. You also have a choice of a roll or a biscuit. That's a nice touch. They're apple pies are pretty tasty also. Overall they're just a really pleasant experience, especially for fast food! I think chicken Express and Chick-fil-A both have drive-thru service down to a pretty good art.

The chicken here is always done perfectly, not overcooked, not undercooked and has amazing flavor. I love the spicy tenders the most. The staff here is very efficient and handles orders with ease and always gets it right.

It’s been the longest day working two jobs, and I was completely drained. I pulled up to Chicken express at 9:59, not realizing they closed at 10. I felt awful once I realized, especially after ordering a made-to-cook item — but the team was so kind, patient, and went above and beyond without hesitation. Back at home with my fish dinner I have to say it was Delicious!! Both pieces of fish, 2 servings of tartar sauce, mashed potatoes & gravy, coleslaw, a roll & 4 hush puppies. The chicken was not as fresh as usual & my Iced tea was warm & all the ice was melted. I'm not sure why Iced tea is so hard to make?? Full cup of ice then add the tea, hopefully your eyes are open while doing this so you can see the ice melting, stop & add more ice.

I like this brand and I like that we live in the same town with one where we live in Central Texas Before here we drove 45 minutes just to eat at one of these but the food here is pretty good but they get the order wrong every time.

This is my favorite Chicken Express in Wichita Falls. That being said, I do prefer other chicken places to Chicken Express. They have really good tea here, pretty good chicken, and even good fish, so long as you have them make it fresh. That being said, if you are wanting tenders, I recommend the Golden Chick on Jacksboro Hwy. They just haven't been that great at this location lately.

The food is always good. But today and one day last week, I ordered corn on the cover, was charged for it, got home and did not have it. This time I called them, they said "come back and we will give it to you" I didn't want to drive back, so I said I would get it tomorrow.

We visit semi frequently. On our last 2 visits, we ordered hushpuppies as a side with the fish, along with corn on the cob. The corn had almost no flavor, we had no sticks to eat the corn with, and I got 5 hush puppies in total. However, the hushpuppies have a good flavor, as do the fish fillets and the chicken options. I LOVE their sweet tea also.

The food is delicious. The best chicken in Wichita Falls. The young man that brought me my food was rude and dismissive. Cashier was sweet and courteous. I could tell that the young man does not enjoy his job.

We have been going to chicken express for years and years. My husband loves the livers and always asks for fresh livers to be dropped due to this store serving cold livers to him. We never had a problem except with one staff. You tell her fresh and she just nods as if she understands. And they put the livers that are already cooked on the plate. We asked for fresh livers or our money back. She acted so confused. I think some retraining is in order please. Our food did come out hot and fresh this time.

The drive through was quick service. Two cars were ahead of me and they brought my food out and took my card. They gave me extra food. I got home and the food seemed like it hadn't been hot in a while. Tender breading was a little dry and inconsistent, but the chicken itself was juicy.

This location of Chicken Express is off of West Hwy 277 on the north side. Easy to get off and back on the highway. About 5 miles west of Hwy 287. They usually have fairly quick service and they are frequently busy because of their location. The food is made fresh, yummy, and moderately affordable. Fried chicken, chicken tenders, fried fish, mashed potatoes, gravy, green beans, coleslaw, and corn nuggets. The restaurant offers dine in, drive thru, or take out. The dining room is clean and there is plenty of room for a crowd of people. The bathrooms are mostly clean, there was some hand towels littering the floor and the trash was full. I had to wait about seven minutes for the fish to be fried, as I had arrived after the church down the street was letting out from the latest services. With that being said, the turn around for my order to be filled wasn't a long wait, considering. The cashier was friendly and courteous, and explained that the fish would take a bit longer as a fresh batch was frying. All the employees were working quickly and not one of them was stagnant.

Chicken express is decent food. Sometimes the chicken is overdone and the potatoes taste like instant potatoes. The sides are better. The corn nuggets are worth the visit. The sweet tea is also good. The staff is always friendly, helpful and professional. The restroom needs to be cleaned more often.

I like the atmosphere of the place, when there is a lot of people in there it's does not feel crowded. Our food/mines Chicken was hot, fresh and delicious. The 2 ladies with me had fish Dinners and they were satisfied with their purchased.

My order was wrong l asked could l 9livers and 6 gizzard on the order l was told yes but they did not do it l was disappointed after having to wait for the order then getting home to see they did not give me what l expected

There's a 50 percent chance that your food will be old and dried out from sitting under the heat lamp for too long.

It's hit or miss on the service whenever I go. Half the time we have to ask to remake certain food that's already cold when handed to us. When it's all good it's AMAZING though.

Coleslaw & chicken pcs were really good, but unfortunately the mac'n cheese was kind'a watery-bland tasting but biscuits were good & overall it was pretty good...(but y'all need to go to a milk based gravy pleeeeeeease...)...but thanks!!!😄

If they could improve their listening skills and actually act like they care it would make things nicer when dining in or take out. It's not very good for a customer to go in and feel like they are imposing on the workers space. It's their job to help the public. Food would improve if attitudes improved.

On my visit at Wichita falls I stop at this location, customer service was good but unfortunately I did not check my purchase before driving off. I got charge for the 3 piece meal but got 2 pieces in my box :( check you order before driving off.

I like the food here but the service SUCKS!!!! They either mess up the order or leave out at least an item 90% of the time and i geberally get an "oh sorry" response and thats it. I think im about done with this kemp street store and the taco bell across the street.

Food is consistent, service is not. Which is really sad, because I am a steaddddy regular. Just waited about 12 mins for some livers, actually had to back up to the window because no one brought me my food. Person taking my order waited approximately a half second between every item I ordered, rudely interjecting with "isthatit??". Also, more than 50% of the time, they don't provide the requested dipping sauce. In a previous incident, brought my order home to eat, received completely the wrong thing (again, regularly order the exact same things). Ate the food, rather than drive it back to CE to get trashed and to waste more of my time. I called management on site the next day and was essentially talked to as if I were a lying thief asking for a freebie. I should've taken my business to SW Pkwy a while ago, which I think I will go ahead and do now.

Second car in drive thru. 9+ minutes for a Sweet Tea. Drive and Gal at window had a lenghtly conservation. Would of been ok if they got a Big order. One box. Then she ordered a drink after fact.

This was my first time trying fried southern food. I'm not a fan of the fried okra but the corn nuggets were sweet like a dessert. I won't be going back to this place because of how much my stomach hurts now. Cheaply fried food is killing my stomach.

They got two stars because I think the chicken would have been good and I don't think it's entirely their fault but this town is a toxic farming area. Everything I ate from this location tasted like chemical pollution, the entire town smells like it on certain days and it soaks into the grease and the food. Once again I can't specifically blame them but I got so ill from the chemical contamination that it caused some permanent Vision damage and the county is very aware but completely inept in addressing the issue which is coming from surrounding feedlots.

I went through the drive thru ordered well they stuffed all my order in one box including our apple pies and extra biscuits 3 chicken breast 2 side orders then after getting all the way back home I realized the corn on the Cobb wasn’t in there so I called the first time got hung up on the second time was offered to bring the receipt back and get my corn!!!! Its not like I can go right back we live 20 minutes away well the supposed mngr tells me save the receipt and you can come get the corn whenever and I’ll throw in a free drink its horrible service Because this wasn’t the first time this place has forgotten stuff from our order poor service and rushed along I will be ordering our chicken some where else!!!

They have the WORST customer service I know! They never smile nor ever use there manners. Like the basic "your welcome" when a customer thanks them for there service. Every time we come here its always one thing or another. They never get our order correct, it's your job to listen to the paying customer and serve the correct item. The only reason we come here is because golden chick stopped serving livers! Livers are great when there fresh, but there customers service is poor!

I love chicken express this last time I came I asked the lady at the window if my gizzards were fresh & she replied with "yes we just now dropped them". I drive 10 min to get to my house just to find out they were dry & disgusting. I called & spoke to a manager he told me to go back with the food and my reciept so he could fix it. As soon as we pulled up we sat in the car a good 15 min watching everyone ignore the fact we were in the car, they don't even bother to open the window and let us know they dropped fresh ones. Even the manager I spoke with walked past the window a good 5x and didn't say anything. He finally did & got the food back, didn't apologize or anything and said they dropped fresh ones. 15 more min later and we're still sitting here. Worst experience ever!!!! & such rude people.

I swear this restaurant has to have the most incompetent set of employees. I go thru almost everyday. No exaggeration. Order the same thing. For months I didn't have to say anything special, just my normal order. Then all of a sudden the prices started changing. And every time I said I wanted a biscuit they gave me a roll. Then I paid $.37 more and got one less piece of chicken. So I asked, and you have to say it the right way to get the lunch deal. Well I'm there at lunch you would think it was common sense. So I stopped going for awhile until today. Ordered the right way, got the right price. Checked box before I left to make sure I had a roll, left happy. Got to work went to dip my chicken in the gravy and it was mashed potatoes! Not to mention my fries looked three days old and they had only been opened for 30 minutes. Oh my goodness! Called and manager said well if you bring back the product we well replace it. I'm going to work and I'm not leaving that in my car for 24 hours to make my car stink. I just threw it away and will not be returning to this location as I'm positive they would screw up that order as well.

I told them at the drive thru that I was there the day before and had ordered extra gravy and was charged for it, but when I got home it wasn’t in the box. I told her that I wanted an extra gravy on this trip and that I had already paid for it and didn’t receive it. — well — I got it this time and she charged me again. Won’t be back.

This place has fair chicken, and the sides and rest are all okay, but nothing special. What is special is paying about $1.38 for each single piece of chicken when you buy a bucket. For $31.98 I could have bought, raised and fed, slaughtered, and cooked about 6 buckets full of chicken and it probably would have tasted better and been hot when served. The Colonel must be rolling in his grave...

This is the only chicken place that had me so sick ! The heath department has to check this place. I ordered my food everything was good up until an hour later. I had to run to the restroom and puke never went back since I've never had a problem with food poisoning before

I go up there, the workers are more worried about talking to there friends than taking orders, I ordered a dr pepper no ice and got ice, I only got 1 of my 2 sides, and my amount of roles was wrong. They litterly got more wrong than they got right.

We ate here last night and the manager or owner was so rude. The chicken tenders tasted so salty and I asked for new ones. He said he could cook new ones but they would taste the same. No solution and I asked for an extra roll because we were dining in. He rudely said we charge extra for everything. We spent $35 dollars there and I didn’t think one roll would be too much to ask for.

Things have changed, the MANAGER SPECIAL is no longer "SPECIAL". Very expensive. Service is now lacking. More often than you should you don't get what you ordered. Food doesn't taste good anymore. This location is no longer worth your time nor your money. You're way better off going to the TAFT AND SOUTHWEST PKWY location.

This is the worst chicken express in town everytime I go the chicken is basically stale as hell and the okra is as well. Always have missing items as well and every single time I go I get the worst chicken peices that are mostly bone so I end up only being able to eat my sides. After I just spent all that money on a meal I won't even be able to eat. Ur employees are sleeping and extremely slow clearly nobody's working bc nothing is fresh every single time I go.
