Beef taco was so very good. Expect the spicy kind of salsa if you’re used to the mild stuff. The taco made my day i wish i got 3

Came in with 10 people. Served us quickly. Delicious food. Great salsa. Highly recommend the fajita burrito- so good.

Amazingly delicious home-made Mexican food. Yummy tamales! Super nice family who own and work here.

Always get the same dish. It used to be a tamale, Chile relleno, taco, enchilada with rice and beans. But they stopped making tamales. And split the dishes to two combos. One that has the Chile relleno and the other that has a burrito instead. I usually get the chicken burrito, taco and enchilada nowadays

Service was quick, food was delicious, and the portions were big. I had the veggie burrito. Will definitely return if I'm in the area again!

Food tasted great. Used google reviews go decide if it was worth the stop after a day at the river. If you have the chance stop on by. Food was filling and quickly made without loss of quality.

OMG! Now that's a taco, friend said Carnitas in the taco was great. I had a tostada and it was really good too, grilled chicken was very good. Pico was good too. Obviously large portions.

D
Dalton Lee

Veggie macho burrito was superb! Chargrilled flavor and loads of sour cream and guac, couldnt have asked for more on a hot day, except for super strong margarita, which they also had!!!

Have driven by this location several times, but never stopped. Selection is amazing! Freshness? YES!!! Service is VERY good. Will definitely be back!

I came here with my brother from los angeles on our way to humboldt for my brothers schooling ,the drive was so long an annoying that when we stopped by here to get a quick bite we had no energy and we were irritated, we sat down and began eating and this food brought back life into us not just being amazingly delicious but a true gem hidden in the mountains, ive been searching for this place and now ive found it...I will return🤤

Best street tacos (carne asada) in a 200 mile radius, hands down. Authentic. Margaritas nothing to write home about, but I came for the authentic food.

This was a licking finger delicious meal! If I only lived closer, I would have all my Mexican food cravings fulfilled here. Great service too!

For being so far from Southern California I doubted this place would be good, I finally went and it's GREAT! Service is friendly, quick, and the food is authentic.

The salsa and chips was on point and the service was great but the quality of meat could use a upgrade. My Steak Burrito was great but the steak, not so good. Next time I will eat it with no meat.

I stopped in Willow Creek to find Bigfoot but found some of the best Mexican food I have ever had! The Mexican street tacos al pastor were awesome. Service was great and the food was freshly prepared.

Delicious food! Not too spicy (when not ordering the spicy stuff)

This little Mexican Restaurant is great, been here 2 times and I’m on my second right now. Hunter is one of the waiters there, he’s very good at his job along with the others. Huge appetizers and amazing food. Highly recommend this place.

Great place to cool off and get some good food before or after your river trip in Willow Creek. It's near the grocery store and you can get some great food here. The ice cold Negra Modelo on tap served with fresh lime went down so smooth! We loved the salsa and chips as we downed a few beers. The wife ordered the soup served with tortillas and veggies on side delicious and I got the Chimachanga which was one of the best I've had. It was totally stuffed with a huge portion of shredded beef and fried perfectly and covered with guacamole sour cream cheese lettuce tomatoes and man I want another! And another beer too! Great service and a clean restaurant with clean bathrooms that they keep the riff raff out of. Thanks! We will be back!

Stopped by here for lunch after fishing on the Trinity. Some of the best fish tacos I've ever had! Everyone had great meals. Good portions and good prices. Definitely recommended!

Really good, tasty Mexican food. I had the Chilli Verde lunch and the missus got the meatball soup with a side of refried beans. Everything had flavor, I would highly recommend for a quick bite if your passing thru.

We were waiting on a tow truck and needed food late. They were so kind to let us order take out ten minutes before they closed. The waitress was so polite. We had our food in ten minutes. Very generous portions.

Worth the drive awesome meatball soup and chicken Chipotle dinner we also had a shrimp dish that was awesome! The Carne asade dish was OK. Shared a strawberry margurita it was very strong and neither of us really like tequila so we didn't drink much but other then that it was very good

D

Decent Mexican food at decent peices. Their desert menu is unique.

M

Delicious. Eat a chile rellano and a shrimp cocktail! Have a horchata too. Kinda pricey, but worth it since they are one of the only eateries around. They do have tents outside with heaters.

Sounds dangie but rolled inland to view the wake of the fires. Bless those families taken by mother Gaia, let them rest in Life. On the way home stopped by the restaurant and ordered the camarones molcajete. Came out in culture, rock bowl o.k.a. a molcajete cactus, queso, and all the fixings. It was tasty or era sabroso. Was there closer to closing, still folks rolled in smiling and left content, as I. Gracias a nuestro servidor y al restaurante, mahalo to our server and the restaurant.

J
Jack Wiley

Food was good, but they couldn't input an order over the phone, so I had to wait!

J

I highly recommend the cheese enchiladas! A little pricey but delicious. Waitress very nice and on top of it!

Full meal and very filling. The meat was tough though. Could be stewed a lot longer. Beef Flautas. Nice mexican music ambience.

Visited Willow Creek & this place is walking distance from the Bigfoot motel. Tacos are good the salsa was very tasty. Of course they have alcohol options. Okay size place to dine in. Small town so not many severs available. But our waitress was quick. Good place to grab a bite.

The salsa was soooo good. You have to pay $3.50 for a very small bowl of chips and salsa. The beans were great!. The restaurant is clean. There is tons of parking.

Good food in Willow Creek. Waitress was friendly and patient (we had two wound up young kids). Potions are big; my husband and I split a veggie macho burrito. Chips and salsa were pretty good. Salsa with red lid is less hot than tan lid. Salsa was hard to pour, kept getting clogged. Pour at a slight angle, not too extreme. Drinks are in large glasses. I liked the horchata. Next to the Bigfoot and History museum too. Would definitely eat here again!

The food was pretty good and it was prepared quickly. My only minor complaint is that the chips were kind of stale. The salsa And guacamole we're good, and the carne asada tacos were on point. My boys are their food, and we had a few moments of silence, so that was a plus.

G

Street tacos are good. The potato enchiladas were very taste if your looking for a veggitarian dish. Only one person running the show the last 3 visits but food still came out in a timely manner.

My friends and I go to Willow Creek twice a year and we always stop at all the restaurants, but this year we could tell that the food they served was not made fresh, the beans where from a can, the rice was from the box.... But the service from the owner was awesome...

j
james davis

staff was a bit slow. My spinach and cheese enchiladas were literally just spinch in a tortilla with no cheese. But the beans and rice were really good

L
Lee LeJanic

Meh. Definitely not horrible food, but not great either. Could also improve on friendlier, more welcoming, customer service.

R
Ryan Harvey

The food, prices, and service used to be better but now it's all slipping... except the prices, they're getting higher. It just seems like they know they're the only Mexican in town so they just don't care or something.

Not much culinary selection in this town so we opted for this place as our prior attempt with the steakhouse failed miserably. Pros: Family owned Excellent service Food was quick Salsa was great and appeared homemade Chips were fresh and homemade Cons: Pretty bland, standard American/ Mexican food Tostada was lackluster and the shredded chicken, while red in color, didn’t have any real flavor or spice/seasoning Fajitas were warm, but not hot It’s probably the best you can get in Willow Creek but the caveat being there’s very little selection here and most of it is subpar.

Runny, soupy beans. Shredded beef in big chunks, not easy to eat. Order placement error led to long delay in service; management tried to hide and blow off the obvious, so poor customer service marks. Can't recommend on any front.

This was NOT Mexican food. Idk what it was. We were not given the correct order. The food was cool to the touch. Never ever again. Ok, they get one star for their salsa.

I ate there three nights ago. I got three tacos then spent all night puking. Beware.

Expensive, way too expensive. The food was good but there was a 6 dollar "service fee" whatever that is, that could not be explained by the cashier.

!!!HORRIBLE SERVICE!!! I will never return and I advise that you do the same! I used to love this place, and eat here all the time. Again, my meat was under-cooked, and/ or bad, and I got sick. This is now the third time this has happened to me here. Not to mention, my order was messed up this time. I haven't written a review in a while, but I've had such bad experiences here recently that I figured it was necessary. :(

We went for a friend’s birthday. 2 of us ordered tamales which contained no meat. We showed the waiter he was not even concerned. No I am sorry or offer to correct the situation. We also received the wrong bill. I will never return to this restaurant.
