Update: Yes I sm a real person. Just someone that has a passion for doughnuts. I grew up eating Shipley's Doughnuts every Sunday. So for me like your doughnuts as much as Shipley's is saying a lot. Definitely an upgrade from what it was before!!! I went in today for a bacon, egg, and cheese taco and the bacon was perfect!! I loved how there was no grease at all. Don’t even get me started on the salsa. I had got the red one and it was delicious!! I told my coworker I don’t know what’s in this salsa but it’s sooo good! The kolache was good as well! Definitely more filling than the ones before. Thank you to the person who helped me today and was patient with me. It was also their first day and she was amazing! Definitely will be back again.

Drop by and see how a bite into a donut creates a donut smile and a smile on your face at the same time. Unless you’re eating a long John or a cinnamon roll or one of the kolaches then it’s just the other half… but you would still be smiling on your face… cause it’s ALL DELICIOUS!

These are actually the best donuts I've ever had in my entire life. Been open for 18 years, and the owner is a sweet older lady. The employees are always super friendly, even super early in the morning. Try the strawberry icing or a Bavarian cream. You can't go wrong!!

Get there early! I had the kolaches, they were perfectly done and very tasty Very tasty. The jalapeno one in particular was good and full of flavor, also absent of heat. I also tried the old fashioned donut and the glazed donut, they were also great. If you are in Wimberley around breakfast I highly recommend stopping!

So good!!! I got donuts and kolaches for parents and powerlifting team when we were around for a local meet. Everyone devoured them and said they were some of the best kolaches they’ve ever had. Reasonably priced, delicious and super friendly service!

Great service. Even better donuts. Favorite was the vanilla cake donut with cinnamon sugar topping. Blueberry cake donut was also very good. Also tried the jalapeno and cheese kolache. There are whole jalapenos in there! Super spicy and delicious 😋

They remembered me from my last visit and that alone helped me feel more easier to talk with them - I am autistic and I usually have a hard time conveying what I need or would like, and the two people the met me initially gave me a warm welcome when I came in and helped me with my donut selection for my friend’s birthday. I can’t thank them enough for being so helpful (also to the car), having great patience, and most of all immensely kind and loving. I hope I will get to see you again Wimberley Donuts Family. Wimberley Donuts has the best old-fashioned donuts around—perfectly crunchy on the outside and soft inside. The jalapeño and cheese kolaches have the perfect amount of kick and are always fresh. Beyond the food, the staff and owners are genuinely good people who make every visit a great experience. Highly recommend!

If you want small town charm with big flavors, this is a must. I know it’s called Wimberley donuts but I challenge you to find a best biscuits and gravy or ham, egg and cheese croissant. The donuts are top-notch and a weekend staple for my boys. and a weekend staple for my boys. The owners are great and treat you like family. If you want to start the morning with friendly smile, great cup of coffee, and a heck of a breakfast, this is the place.

I have never had anything but stellar customer service and sometimes the smiles first thing in the morning have turned my bad day into a better one. Their donuts are delicious! We got there a little after 10am on a Saturday and they didn't have much of a variety left. So get there early. I highly recommend the apple filled bar.

The staff and owner are good people. Always welcoming and kind. Apple fritters are huge! I've been lucky a few times to get it just out and hot.

Sadly this is my probably my last visit to here. After it sold, the prices sky rocketed and the taste plunged. I have tried the kolaches again and it is not good at all. The kolaches was my favorite thing when the previous owner ran it.

Unfortunately, I didn’t take a picture, but it was probably the smallest Longjohn I’ve ever seen and the nastiest. In my 35 years of visiting donut shops not A single one has charged more Basic straight doughnut. It’s two cents more of dough SMH... Today I got a couple of egg breakfast tacos and one had zero egg in it, and the other had barely any as shown in picture. A review didn’t even come to mind until this second taco. I want to “like”them, but the only thing they got going for him is there can-do attitude. So much so I feel guilty giving them one star so I gave them 2.. Also They take forever for a donut shop (Only ever been through the drive-through) I was just reading some other reviews and maybe the owner should focus more on peoples complaints rather than the time that they write it. SMH.

My husband went to this shop today and order a dozen mixed donuts. He got 9 donuts and a dozen donut holes. Do not recommend, service was also rude when he didn't want a breakfast sandwich not made with a croissant. That's our preference we don't deserve attitude for it, if you order a dozen mixed donuts make sure to check that's what you get before you leave. The lady was tall blonde and in her 40's

We came in because they had posted free donuts or kolache for each person due to a generous donation. We ordered two kolaches one donut a cinnamon roll and a single donut hole for our dog. Fully prepared to pay for the extra items not the two kolaches.... Charged us $23 then they asked us if we wanted a one free kolache for the two of us. ..... How are those items $23. We were under the impression that each of us got one free kolache or one free donut but we were charged for everything and overcharged at that. When we tried to correct the mistake they were extremely rude. We won't be back. The lady at the window always has an attitude. And the man is always super unpleasant. And my daughter just realized they had also cut a short after already overcharging us and giving us a small refund of what they still owed us went back in to get the rest $3 The lady threw 20 something dollars at her literally through it at her and landed on the floor!!!!!!!! The owner is absolutely out of control!

Yesterday we ordered in drive thru and ordered several different donuts. Some of the donuts we ordered were sold out so the worker came to ask us if we wanted something different. As my husband and I talked and decided what we wanted to choose instead another older lady worker came from behind the younger lady taking our order and began speaking to us in Spanish (my husband and I are both Hispanic). We looked at her in shock. We have never been racial profiled before. The older lady walked away and I asked “did she not think we spoke English” and we were given a smirk from the cashier. As I said before, that was clearly racial profiling and was in so many ways wrong. The staff clearly needs training in customer service. You don’t assume that people are Spanish speakers just because they are brown. We will sadly not be returning and encourage others not to unless you want to be racial profiled.
