My wife and I had a fantastic time here this past Thursday. Stopped in for the first time and bowled 4 games. The staff is really friendly and attentive. The lanes were in nice shape and the beer was cold!

Winter Garden Bowl is such a staple in the area. From hanging out here with friends in high school to coming back now with family whenever I’m back in town, it’s one of those places that never loses its charm. I always get the corn dogs — they’re a must every single time. This visit, we tried the French fries too, and I loved them. Simple, classic, and exactly what you want while bowling. Winter Garden Bowl isn’t just about the lanes; it’s about the memories, and it still hits every time 🎳✨

Went here with a group of friends for the first time in probably 15 years. This place wasn’t the fanciest, newest, most beautiful bowling alley I’ve been to, but it will really bring you back in time to a simpler time when having fun with your friends meant just being with your friends. The staff is extremely nice, all lanes were working, good selection of balls, an arcade area with lots of games and pool, and plenty of drinks and food. If you want to warp back in time to when your life wasn’t so crazy, I recommend coming here. Plus, Friday night was all you can bowl for $20! We played till close!

Traditional and very small place! Never had to presh the reset buttons, which is great technically! Lots of nice people that goes here! But sometimes the employees or head employees (especially) is unpleasant! Its a small place so, being busy is not an excuse. Other than that, its very decent! Oh yeah, put something to spray in the bathroom please!

Fun atmosphere. We came on a Thursday afternoon and thought the prices were fair. We ordered mozzarella sticks and fries. The food took a while and the fries were cold, but honestly we all ate and had a good time :)

The people that worked their were very polite and attentive! 5 stars would have been given but the lane we we're on kept malfunctioning! They did give us a new lane after the 2nd malfunction though so they fixed the issue.

Balls are weird, maybe its just my fingers. Good news is they let you put your feet on the seats! Billiards is best here.

This place has been there forever. I remember going as a kid in the late 80s. But there were only two people working out front and they seemed unable to handle the demand. Nice enough people, but just an overall lack of service. It's tough to know whether it's worth the cost-savings as compared to larger establishments or not. We may try again on a weekday at some point... Not ruling it out, but just not super impressed.

I had a pretty decent experience here: Pros: Great deal for young kids during the summer Glow in the dark lanes are great for friends Good music Billiards and smooth-running machines Cons: Was a bit smelly I would definitely not eat food from here. Staff took a bit to respond to us and I wish their was another location a little closer or perhaps not as populated as their was some unpleasant people there. One of the people I was there with told me they witnessed someone dealing some sort of drugs or other merchandise in the parking lot and the outside of the building does not seem very welcoming. I feel this place could do with some renovations or perhaps a newer location in the downtown wintergarden area. I will still visit here but I figured I should just share my experience with others, and if it weren't for the prices I would go to Disney Spring's splitsville instead.

Kids bowl free 2 games along with adults that have kids. Pay for shoes only and only for weekdays. Lanes are ok but not completely balanced and sometimes the pin count isn't accurate. Worth the money, only about $9 for 2 to bowl 2 games with the kids bowl free program.

I get alleys have to be reserved for leagues and all that, but to be open for only an hour prior leaves little time to play-- especially when our lane goes down. Horrible experience. Waited over an hour after we were told it would be a 30 min wait to bowl. Wife ordered food while we waited. Never got food. When approached to find out what happened to our food a employee nastily said it went out. Had to speak to manager who also had no clue what happened to our order and ask for refund. After an hour wait, saw two people walk in after us who were able to bowl as we waited and never got a lane. Seemed like young employees had priority for friends who walked in over us who waited. Employees just laughed. Never coming here again.

It appeared, less then half the lanes are in service. Lane 8 broke down 7 times in 20 minutes. They couldn't move us and refunds are not allowed. How convenient... They did gave us a free bowl voucher.. but like...why would we want to come back when we willing to leave early. Certainly since we are not getting our money back.

The staff was wonderful and tried to make gold out of lead. Saying that... Until they upgrade the hardware, don't try. Every other player had to go to the front desk to service the lane. Misplaced, absent pins with the occasional random reset. We were moved lanes 3 times and still we couldn't finish a whole game without issues.

Food is gross we ordered pizza got here at 6 played 2 games and the pizza we ordered is raw including the bacon on it. yes I know I’m not expecting a 5 star restaurant but raw bacon on pizza gross. Also we felt the place was dirty and were not sure if anything was properly sanitized. No hand sanitizer stations out either. I would not recommend going. It didn’t seem like the staff cared.

I had a super horrible experience here. We were here at 1:00 on a Wednesday afternoon. It was not busy. That was about the best thing about this location. Looking for a ball that fits a medium sized man's hands., was nearly impossible. It seemed that they only had small holes and extra-large holes. Was not able to bowl because of this. Could not locate 9 lb balls with large holes. Very unsatisfied, drove 30 minutes away from resort because of good reviews.

This place absolutely sucks. Needs to be knocked down and replaced with something newer and modern. It's been here since I was a child. The lanes break down literally every 5 minutes and the only option is to move somewhere else when you're already comfortable where you are. As far as food goes, we didn't order anything other than the donuts and popcorn. The donuts tasted like Debbie cake donuts dropped in hot grease. The popcorn was standard. It reminds you of something in the 90s. Extremely antiquated. The only star I gave is cause I was with my family. Definitely won't come back here.

Paid for 3 of us to bowl. 6 out of the 10 frames one of our scores registered as gutter each throw, when this was not the case. Had to wait several frames for pin machine to be fixed. Had us change lanes, for the same result. We inquired about playing a second game with a discounted rate for our horrible 1st game, and we're told the owner doesn't do discounts. Awesome. We paid 16.00 a person to have 4 frames that the machine didn't break down and the computers worked. In my profession, just down the street, I see several patients a day...I will NEVER recommend this establishment again. They should be embarrassed for not making their mistakes right.

The only good thing was the food. Out of two of the things we ordered and sauce was cold for the mozzarella sticks. Our lane broke down 3 times on our first lane, then we moved and broke again 2 times on the second lane, and multiple times on the third lane they moved us too. We were flashed by an old man’s butt crack when he was trying to fix our third lane. We had children present. All of the house balls were damaged and uncomfortable for everyone in the party and we all had different sized hands. They refused to refund our money. Will not be returning to this bowling alley ever.

When told that it would be $162.95 for 3 games and shoe rental I chuckled and half joking/half seriously asked if there were any discounts or deals available. The cashier just stared at me which led me to say "so, I am guessing that's a no?" while handing over the money. Well, lo and behold, on the way out I notice sign stating that Fridays are "All You Can Bowl" for $20pp INCLUDING shoe rental (we started bowling at 8pm fyi). So, I ask the lady at the register if the Friday deal was still a thing and I was advised that it is so I then asked why I paid $162.95 versus $120 plus tax. I was told that she didn't know how I was rung up, but she would get the person who took care of us. It was then that the very grumpy manager, Jen, came from the back and explained that I was charged for 3 games and shoes rental which is why I was charged what I was charged. I then asked her why I would be charged that way when they are offering the "All You Can Bowl" deal and she said because I didn't ask for it and then proceeded to tell me that there were no refunds. I reminded her that I very clearly asked before paying if there were any discounts or deals available and how she just stared at me without responding. I also let her know that what she did was shady and deceptive. Kind of makes me wonder why it was "cash only" tonight...so, just know WG...if you are planning to bowl on Friday night this month it is $20 per person and includes shoe rental! I have attempted to return the calls to see if my number might be being used by someone else, and I get a notification that I may be calling a harmful or spam number. When I have called them it goes to a dead line or a voicemail. I have no experience with this physical business and my review is strictly on whatever is happening with their phone or the person running their business phone.
