Felt hungry and was searching for quick and fresh meal style snack and saw "Beef kheema paratha" with spicy chutney. Honestly it was far better than any commercial pizza. Highly recommend that you try beef kheema paratha. You will not like it you will love it. Thanks!
Absolutely delicious! Ordered the tawa qeema keebob in chicken and beef. The spicy cilantro sauce topped it off nicely. Well flavored. Enjoyed the mango and guava margaritas (non alcoholic). Clean and nice atmosphere. The employees were friendly, and patient as we navigated the menu and what we wanted. Will definitely be back!
Shan Grills is an absolute gem for anyone craving authentic Pakistani flavors. The food is consistently delicious, the portions are generous, and the service is warm and welcoming. The atmosphere feels like home, and the attention to detail in every dish shows real passion. Highly recommended
Shan Restaurant is an excellent spot for authentic Pakistani and Indian cuisine. The food is rich in flavor, portions are generous, and everything tastes freshly prepared. Their kebabs, curries, and tandoori items are consistently delicious, and the staff is friendly and welcoming. It’s a great place for both families and gatherings—simple atmosphere but outstanding food that keeps you coming back.
Best Pakistani/Indian food in Dallas, Period. Meat was fresh with well balanced spices. They have THE BEST chickpea (lahori channa) I have ever tasted. Make sure you try their chickpeas, Falsa juice and chapli kababs. Its a family run business and the entire crew is very hospitable.
Amazing experience. Parathas, kebabs, kheer, kulcha, all were amazing. lahori chanas were delicious. The service was warm and attentive, and the ambiance gave a cozy Desi vibe. Definitely a place I’d recommend to anyone craving genuine Desi flavors
Great Lahori food finally in the DFW metroplex! Amazing naans, Chapli kebabs, Allu and meetha paratha..mouth watering! The owner was so sweet! She came up to our table and talked to us about how they started this and was so passionate about the food and how much goes into making a business a success! Keep up the awesome work. Alhumdulillah great food!
Writing this review two days after my visit, I couldn’t resist revisiting this authentic Pakistani restaurant. I believe it’s one of the best halwa puris in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. The parathas were equally delicious, and the chicken tikka boti was incredibly tender and flavorful. I’m eager to try more of their other dishes next time.
The food here is so good! Always cooked fresh and seasoned to perfection. I've been stuck on the stuffed parathas, but after a few visits, I really want to try everything on the menu. Great weekday lunch specials but honestly a good value at regular price considering the portion size and quality. Highly recommend
We tried this for the first time today and it was amazing!!! The shahi tawa platter was more than enough food for my husband and I. Our 4 year old loved the chicken from the chicken burger & said the rice was her “best favorite flavor ever!” We will be back for sure!
If you haven't been to Shan Grills, all I have to say is... Jinnay Shan Grills ney vehkiya oh jamiya he nehi! 😄 Seriously, the food here is incredible. I even ordered takeout (didn't get a pic, sadly). They haven't added it to the printed menu yet, but my absolute favorite is the Paya! I've been searching for this EXACT flavor, and it's hands down the best paye I've had in all of Texas. The owner is so kind, and the staff is amazing. The atmosphere is bright and lively – such a cute place. Great food and amazing customer service! Highly recommend!
Great quality food, if someone says otherwise they haven't had Lahori style food before. True to Lahori flavor! I tried kababs naan, paratha, metha paratha, burgers, chai, Lassi, margaritas, everything top notch. Must try food!
The young lady cashier from Honduras was so incredibly sweet and helpful! She made the experience top tier to us. Its was our 1st time eating this type of food 😋 but we left satisfied and full bellies. From oakcliff but will definitely make the trip back here its that good!
Small place with big hearts. Shan Grills is a family-owned Pakistani restaurant known for its warm hospitality and delicious parathas, their specialty. Update June 2025: Lahori Channay/Cholay and Lassi are amazing too! Prices are on the higher side—$10 for an Aalu Wala Paratha feels steep compared to typical pricing
Shan Grills is a gem for Lahori food lovers! Their parathas and kebabs are absolute perfection. The ambiance is elegant and spotlessly clean, making it a great spot to dine. The service is top-notch! I'm particularly obsessed with their Chapli Kebab and mouth-watering Aloo Paratha. Pair it with a cup of tea and you're in heaven! They offer a wide variety of parathas and naan, but the real standout is their Lahori Chana with Paratha and lassi - a match made in heaven! Highly recommend! It’s a Zabiha Halal ..
The cashier, Darcy, was so kind and helpful in helping me decide what I want. She greeted me with a smile and a hello! The cook Ali was speedy fast and informative and sensitive to my allergies. Will come again!
Shan grills is located on FM pkwy right next to Target in Wylie. It’s a perfect location as we lack Desi food in this area. It’s a brand new restaurant so it’s immaculate and very well maintained. They do focus on kebabs, burgers and parathas of chicken and beef. Very small menu but well represented in the way they designed it. The owner was very kind and friendly she explained various menu items and suggested us what would be good what sauces taste better with each one. The food was delicious the parathas and kebabs for the price was unbeatable, it’s amazing how a minimal menu items can be soo precise. They do have chai and lassi. I would highly recommend anyone who wants to try parathas and kebabs to give this place a try.
Tried Shan Grill with the fam this morning for breakfast. Alhamdulillah the food was very good. I heard about their beef chapli kabab paratha which ofcourse didn't disappoint, but the aalo paratha was delicious. Kids liked shami burger as well. Food was ready in 10 mins. Pricing is perfect. Location is mashaAllah very good as well. Looked like a good family restaurant. Great job guys!
We ordered the family-sized platter for $100, and it was more than sufficient for a group of six with hearty appetites. The standout for me was the grilled Turkish-style chicken thighs, prepared with a flavorful desi twist that truly impressed. The lassi was exceptional—arguably the best I’ve had in the DFW area. Overall, this place does an excellent job of satisfying authentic Lahori BBQ cravings.
Was invited at a dinner party by a friend of mine. Ordered the family kabab platter which had variety of beef and chicken options. Some were grilled while some were pan cooked. Food was pippin hot which I loved. Lassi was authentic Lahore style. We ordered (twice) Qeema naan was solid as well as potato filled paratha.
What a fantastic experience! The quality, service and ambiance was amazing. 🔥 We got their chicken chapli kabob and the beef keema stuffed paratha - both dishes were finger licking GOOD!!! 🤤 Jason and Julie both made the evening even better! And to top it off….the bathrooms were clean! 100% recommended by us!
Absolutely loved our lunch experience here! The ambience was warm, clean, ane welcoming — you can tell a lot of thought has gone into creating a comfortable and relaxing space for guests. Everything felt fresh and well-kept, from the seating to the decor. The food was outstanding. The parathas are handmade, soft yet crisp, and not overly greasy or spicy — just full of authentic, comforting flavor. The kebabs were juicy, perfectly seasoned, and grilled just right. The menu is refreshingly simple and easy to navigate, which made ordering a breeze without feeling overwhelmed. Service was top-notch. The owners — a lovely Pakistani and Eastern European couple — were gracious, attentive, and clearly passionate about their food and hospitality. It’s always special when you can feel the heart behind a place. I love the fact that they have actual “non spicy” option as a part of the menu. Good for your Desi kids. Highly recommend and will definitely be back!
Really enjoyed there food. Everything they made came out fresh and tasted amazing. Had that authentic lahori taste that was missing in DFW. Highly recommend the stuffed naan. Comes with a variety of different sauces.
Fast food joint with good ability to dial the spice level to one's preference if one is a frequent diner. Unfortunately this was our first attempt and while we appreciated the customization across the board our inability to detect cuceb and long pepper in the key kebabs made the experience transitory. Also owing to lack of comprehension skills on our part translated to the belated realization that Mixed Grill For Two meant two pieces of two items only. Perhaps should the next opportunity to visit arise we'll gather a larger crowd for the bigger mixed Grill platter! 😁 The paratha was wholesome and fresh. Again, not an issue but the absence of layering (whatever the method to achieve the end result is immaterial) is par for the experience here. Delighted by the thoughtful and tasteful selection of "Lahori" pictures on the wall. Surely brings a smile viewing the truckers' slogans but didn't realize that Hindi (not Gurmuki) is applicable too for the trucks which are not the gaudiest for the region but surely dent a shame on the bland intermodal trucks that ply on FM 544. The offer to swap sides (paratha for rice) endeared me (2nd visit). Now all we need is a little less smoothness in the rolled kebabs to truly replicate the more frenzied Lahori fast food experience. And why so stingy with the fixins'? Naturally, I had to bump the ratings upwards.
We came in for Iftar because we have been waiting pretty much all our lives for a halal Pakistani restaurant near FM road, and we were not disappointed. We ordered the chicken kebab and beef chapli. These were absolutely amazing dishes, and it came with salad, delicious flavorful rice, the tamarind chutney, and the best was cilantro chutney, and the meat was so nice and to my liking. The owners were so nice and friendly, and it is a nice family restaurant. My dad is from Pakistan and said it brought back memories from Lahore, so it was authentic!! Highly recommend, and their lassi was good too. Next time we will try the parathas and Kashmiri chai.👏👏
It was our first time visiting, and we loved it! The restaurant has beautiful Pakistani decor that feels warm and inviting. We ordered the mixed meat platter, and it was amazing—fresh, juicy, and full of flavor. This is a family-owned business, and the owner is incredibly kind. He shared that he wants to serve home-cooked meals just like his family enjoys, and it truly feels that way. Everything is made fresh to order—we even saw the owner’s wife cutting the meat by hand. My husband tried their chai and loved it, even without sugar. The owner also surprised me with a homemade mango shake, which was so delicious I couldn’t stop drinking it! We’ll definitely be coming back again and again. They made us feel like we’re a part of their family. ❤️❤️❤️
First time trying Lahori cuisine and it was delicious! All of the employees were friendly and helpful, food came out hot and fresh. I was super hungry so I got the BBQ Mix Platter with mint and tamarind chutneys. Everything was excellent, I will definitely be back to try some of their other dishes
Absolutely loved the experience! The chapli kababs were undoubtedly the highlight of our visit! flavorful, juicy, and perfectly cooked. We enjoyed them so much that we ended up taking 15 kababs home with us! We also tried the aloo paratha and the spicy cheese paratha, both were good, I personally preferred the cheese one for its unique flavor and kick. What made the visit even better was the owner’s warm and welcoming attitude. He offered us complimentary gajar ka halwa and kheer- both were delicious! Overall, a great experience and totally worth the drive. Highly recommend for tasty food and friendly service.
A nice addition to Lahori style qeema naan. Aloo naan was too spicy. Chicken kabobs and rice were also really good. Worth traveling 30 minutes for qeema naan.
Authentic lahori food. Owner and his family run this restaurant. His mom was around who is the master chef or keeper of the recipes. Great food. Outstanding service. Everything was mouth watering delicious. Dont forget to end the meal with their signature lassi!!!
Had such an incredible first visit here! From the gorgeous decor and clean environment to the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff, we were taken care of the moment we walked in. Both the beef paratha and nutella (which we ate too quickly to get a picture of!) were delicious, and the mix platter was so fresh and filling. 20/10 recommend, an awesome experience from start to finish!
This was my first time trying Shan Grills and I will definitely be back! I ordered a Chicken chapli paratha with their spicy cilatnro sauce online for pick up. It was ready on time and the staff was prepared to help answer any questions I may have had if I was ordering there. Truthfully I wasn't sure what to expect, not having had this kind of food before, and let me just say it did NOT disappoint! My paratha was flavorful with just the right amount of spice level and the cilantro sauce was the perfect accompaniment. I work in Wylie and I will definitely be back! The restaurant was clean, great atmosphere, easy to order online, and quick for pickup!

We had an amazing experience at Shan Grill in Wylie, Texas! Everything we tried was delicious — the qeema naan, seekh kabob, Tikka kabob, and Qulcha were all full of flavor and perfectly cooked. The service was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. To top it off, they surprised us with a complimentary coffee cake dessert, and fresh fruit pastries — it was absolutely delicious! Every part of our visit was perfect. Highly recommend this place for anyone who loves authentic Pakistani food and great service. We’ll definitely be back!

Over the weekend, we decided to try Shan Grill. We ordered the halwa pori platter, kulcha, and aloo ka paratha, and everything was delicious. In my opinion, their halwa pori is the best in Dallas. We also ordered lasii, mango juice, and mint margarita, which were all good, alhumdulliah. Definitely worth trying!
Holy smokes this was AMAZINGLY DELICIOUS! We ordered kebab platters (beef won) and the beef chalpi naan (our favorite menu item, especially with the yogurt and the cilantro sauce). The staff were all kind, and the food was FRESH. The only reason I knocked off a star was (unfortunately) a few things that concerned me on cleanliness. Examples: dirty floor, dirty rags in the hallway, and a partition between the kitchen and dining area that needed to be wiped from oil. Otherwise, this place is a must if you're looking for great flavor and freshness. We will be back!
The Chapli was excellent—full of flavor! The Chicken leg however, was a bit dry as it was baked, but the staff kindly replaced it with Chapli, which I really appreciated. The service was outstanding—the folks at the counter and in the kitchen were such a wonderful group of people. I’ll definitely be coming back. One suggestion: grilling the Chicken instead of baking it might help keep it juicier.
We ordered the meat platter for two. The patties were flavorful and the rice was fragrant and cooked perfectly. The chutneys were some of the best I've had. Would definitely order from here again. The owner replies regularly, so here are a few suggestions / observations. There are no appetizers or chaat of any kind. This would add a lot to the menu and be good for upsells. Also, the spring mix with Thousand Island dressing was fresh and good, but it seemed like a strange addition to the platter. Maybe a salad option would be nice where someone can get Kachumber or onion salad or even raita instead of spring mix.
Great new joint for Lahori food. The Qeema Naan (beef & Chicken) is their specialty and are highly recommended. The kids ordered a Chicken burger and liked it with Masala fries. Chappal kabab and parathas were good also. The chicken steam roast was average and we notified the owner accordingly. The pricing is reasonable and the ambience is good. The owners were present making sure each customer gets their personal attention and they let us try Lahori Halwa on the house. Overall a good new addition and highly recommended.
Had the mixed grill platter, and the Chapli kebab naan. Grilled items are very flavorful, I usually prefer beef, but the chicken grilled items were better in my opinion. Inside is clean, and well decorated. Service is top tier as well. Very good food, will be back.
Had brunch at shan grill last Sunday, the food was good but service was a but slower and you have to keep asking, especially after knowing they served the later orders before you. Food a little pricey but good to try

🚗✨ After spotting an Instagram ad for Shan Grill, tucked between Wylie and Murphy, curiosity got the better of us—so we made the spontaneous 35-minute drive to the Frisco 121 area to check it out! 👀 From the entrance, you’re greeted with a simple but welcoming setup: tables and chairs on the right and a view straight into the sizzling kitchen. Watching the chefs grill and prep in real time added a spark of excitement and made the space feel alive! 👨👩👧 The menu had plenty of kid-friendly options, so we ordered a chicken burger—but the flavor didn’t quite win over the little ones. It was a bit on the spicy side, and they couldn’t finish it. 🌶️ But hey, tastebuds are still evolving! 🍗 Next up: steamed chicken leg with basmati rice. The chicken was super simple and lacked seasoning, but the rice was a hit—fragrant, fluffy, and filling. My son actually ended up polishing off the chicken, so that’s a small win! 🥩 I went for the beef chapli kabobs with rice. Not quite as authentic as I’d hoped, but still enjoyable. Later, the kids dad tried the chicken chapli kabobs and absolutely loved them! 👌 🥰 And here’s where it turned around: kids dad decided to top off the meal with a crispy paratha and a warm cup of chai, which he thoroughly enjoyed—sipping happily like he’d discovered his new ritual.

I had breakfast here and ordered halwa puri, and to my absolute shock, I found a steel scrubbing wire inside the halwa. This is not just unhygienic — it’s dangerous. Anyone could have swallowed it or been seriously hurt. I immediately showed it to the restaurant owner, and he didn’t even bother to apologize. Extremely RUDE!!!!!!
This place is a complete disaster. The food was not only poorly made, but several people I know got sick after eating here. The prices are outrageously high for what you’re getting —greasy and clearly not handled with care. The owner is shockingly rude and dismissive, and the staff are completely untrained, making the entire experience chaotic and uncomfortable. Save your money and your health stay far away from this place. Chicken is sitting out for hours and touched with bare hands. I saw an employee touch someone’s credit card then go handle food without wearing gloves or washing hands. The food I paid was $70 and it was a complete JOKE! I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone! One of the worst experiences I’ve ever had.
