Best steak I've had in quite some time. 10/10 will be back.

I'm not 1 who writes reviews yet this place is 1 I will. First time visitor to the Yakima Steak Co. I was served with a smile from the young lady, very friendly. I suggest you try the stuffed mushrooms, excellent little appetizer. I had the sirloin steak covered with onions and mushrooms. Fried brussel sprouts and baked potato with all the goods. The steak came out just as I was hoping, perfectly medium rare and no extra seasonings or sauces needed. Definitely a great place for a calm environment with excellent service and food. Thank you to the young lady who served me, the chef who made the meal and a big shout out to the owner for our bit of conversation as well. I left a more plump and happy man today

This place is amazing! Every single thing they brought to the table was delicious. I had the prime rib and it was one delicious piece of meat. The quality of the cut was solid, nothing special, but cooked very well. Everything was cooked exceptionally. The only feedback I have is that our waitress seemed to be in a rush, but its likely they were short staffed or probably overworked, it was a little annoying but she was very efficient and courteous so I can’t put that towards the rating. Im coming back here next time I pass through and I’m telling everyone about it. Keep up the great work folks ♥️

Absolutely amazing!! Lamb pops, filet minion with lobster (steak oscar) with the mushrooms just incredible. Great scotch selection. Best dine in experience in Yakima.

The best restaurant so far. Best service so far. Best ambiance so far. This restaurant is not just big, but clean and has really good vibes. With outdoor seating in summer, it is at a pretty good location. Our waiter was very polite and helpful.

Sarah our server was simply delightful. Very attentive and informed on every aspect of a quite extensive menu. And the adult beverage selection is equal the substantial meals offered. The service was wonderful and couldn't of been better. We chose a prime rib dinner for two, turns out it was one huge 40 oz steak to share with 4 sides and a dessert. It was our Anniversary celebration and it diffently made memories for us. We were so pleased we chose this restaurant. Everything came quickly and as we ordered. The prime rib was a beautiful medium rare we both loved.

We had an excellent anniversary dinner here. The food was excellent as always but it was the customer service that made it memorable. They asked if we were celebrating anything when we entered and then every staff person who talked to us mentioned our anniversary. They gave us a free dessert and a coupon to come back again. Their steak is always perfection and the appetizer was delicious also. Great job!

Fun place with great food and service! The best part was the peach cobler!! Steak was good, and the mashed potatoes were awesome!

Had a wonderful meal, appetizers, drinks, meal all great. Excellent service, fast food and drink delivery. Had the stuffed shimp and the fried oysters apps. 10/10.

Great food every time I’m here! They even have delicious breakfast! Their customer service is five star, super helpful and if anything goes wrong, they will make it right!

Our first trip to Yakima for a PNWU open house. We’re Texans so we craved steaks and we weren’t disappointed. I had the oh so tender, melt in my mouth, Prime Rib and my husband the New York. Tenderest prime rib ever! My husband asked for the blue cheese topping for his steak—he must’ve loved it because it was gone before I could sneak a bite. Jamie greeted and welcomed us. His genuine hospitality helped my son in his decision of where he wants to live and learn the next 2-4 years. This gentleman knows how to sell you on a restaurant without selling the restaurant. Thank you for showing us that sweet small towns with friendly people still exist in the PNW. We will look forward to additional meals here!!

What an amazing time we had tonight!! Food was so good we had the tomahawk for 2 cooked exactly how we wanted it! Our server Janelle was awesome!! Best service we ever had! Definitely coming back and our desert we took home was so good!!

We had Yakima Steak Company cater our wedding for 350 guests, and they absolutely exceeded our expectations! The food was incredible — perfectly cooked prime rib, creamy potatoes, shrimp, chicken piccata, and fresh salad. Everything was delicious and raved about by our guests. Not only was the food amazing, but the service was exceptional. They moved everyone through the food line so quickly and efficiently, and on top of that, they also served drinks and cleared tables, making the whole reception run seamlessly. Their professionalism, organization, and attention to detail took so much stress off of us, and we truly felt taken care of. I cannot recommend Yakima Steak Company enough for any event. If you want delicious food and a team that goes above and beyond, they are the ones to call!

Awesome service, food was great was really looking forward to a tomahawk unfortunately they had just ran out but either than that everything was perfect! Our server Gris was amazing loved her vibe and service!

We had are company party upstairs so we could kick back and enjoy each other and play games. They accommodated everything we needed to have a great party. Absolutely amazing

Best steak house in Yakima. This is my go to place for a great steak. Always a perfect sear, the butter that they top it with is amazing. I order a medium rare and it’s always perfect. The sides are great. The service is amazing. They always ask before hand to cut into my steak to ensure a perfect temp. 10/10 highly recommended!

We had a fantastic experience at Yakima Steak Company for our Christmas work dinner. I made a reservation for 10, and the owner couldn’t have been more accommodating from start to finish. Communication was excellent — he sent confirmations and made sure everything was set up perfectly for our group. While we were there, we were treated incredibly well and truly felt taken care of. The food was great, the atmosphere was comfortable and welcoming, and the prime rib was a huge hit at our table. We’ll definitely be back and would highly recommend Yakima Steak Company for group dinners or special occasions.

I will start by saying, we were in to celebrate a special powerful moment in our lives of being cancer free…. And wow our experience was incredible. David was our bartender and server and he was exceptional! He made our celebration memorable and very special. The kitchen blew our minds away of the level of quality and skill that went into the meal. The opened faced New York steak sandwich, Mac n cheese, coconut shrimp, and shaved Prime Rib dip was amazing!!!!! Everyone at this establishment clearly takes pride in the service and products they serve. Thank you so much…. We will be back soon! Highly recommend for any occasion. Thanks again David!!!!

Overall I rather enjoyed the meal. The restaurant was fairly quiet, and we were seated upstairs in the private party/ conference room. The chairs weren't particularly comfortable, but they served their purpose. There's a nice selection of beverages to choose from, and mine was brought to the table fairly quickly. We were then served a hot fresh loaf of sourdough bread that had a very flakey crust and good flavor. I received my ribeye steak, and part of it was rare, part medium rare (as requested) and mostly medium. The wedge salad was fresh and crisp, but the risotto was a bit chewy. The service was good even though we weren't in the main area, which was nice.

Just passing through, stopped in for supper. It was a tale of two restaurants. Excellent food, poor service. Quite expensive, but the food was outstanding. Unfortunately the service was quite lacking. They weren't friendly (but not rude), and forgot part of our order (and it wasn't that busy).

Overall good & tasty, but is quite pricey. I got the filet mignon, which could have had more flavor. The sauteed onions & mushrooms definitely helped with that. The mashed potatoes & angel hair pasta as sides were yummy. We also got cheesy garlic bread & brussel sprouts for the table, which were both hits. For dessert I got the pumpkin tiramisu, it definitely was more of a mousse cake rather than tiramisu, but it was still tasty. Overall i would recommend but I don’t think the price matches the taste & quality of what I got. I would come again to try other dishes though. Service was ok, nothing spectacular but wasnt bad either.

Nice ambiance to this steakhouse. Our server was great, very attentive and quick to bring your drinks. I didn't think the steaks were very flavorful. My wife and son both had the ribeye and it had a rather pale appearance to it. It was a tad overcooked for a medium doneness. The picture I posted shows it much darker than it actually was. My son like the Mac & Cheese side that he got with it. I had the rack of lamb and the glaze was tasty but the lamb was just okay. When I picked up the bone I noticed the ends were cold like they had left the ends hanging off the heat so they turn them. Just guessing about that though. The best part for me was the beer. Nice and cold! I might go back to try their sandwiches next time I'm in town.

Really really good place. Down side, it's $$$. Great dishes! Super relaxed atmosphere. Go for special events like birthdays etc.

My son and I took my wife for a early mother's day meal. She loves a good steak so we chose Yakima Steak Company. It was a great meal we started with a chartucerie board appetizer, my wife loved her Ribeye steak, my son really enjoyed his Cajun shrimp and polenta, and my shaved prime rib sandwich was solid. The Ribeye was hands down the best taste of the evening.

Took my wife out for Valentine's Day dinner. The service was excellent & we didn't wait very long to get our food despite it being busy. The only complaint I have is that the steak lacked seasoning.

Although the food was cooked to the perfect temperature, I would say the steak lacked flavor. Very bland. Service was great, as well as the location.

This is a very nice restaurant steakhouse in Yakima. Probably the best. Only reason I gave it four stars is because it's pretty pricey. Not a lot of average cost meals. Pretty much a high-end restaurant for Yakima

My experience was overall ok. Ambience and prices don't really match. I had a blackberry cocktail, the knotted bread, 6 oz filet, brussel sprouts, butternut squash, and cheesecake with raspberry sauce. The flavor of the drink wasn't bad, but the little blackberry seeds made it unpleasant to drink. The bread was $8 and was a little doughy. It was topped with cheese and garlic. The steak was flavorful, but as a thick filet was undercooked in the middle and I ended up not eating the very center bite. The squash and brussel sprouts were good but everything was heavily salted and the only other flavor seemed to be garlic and butter. I love butter and garlic but after a whole plate of salt, butter, and garlic, I was over it before completing my meal. Cheesecake was good. I don't believe it was made in house, but it was topped with very good looking berries. My bill with a 20% tip was $100. I felt the price didn't really support what was served. If you are going to charge higher end steakhouse prices, i believe the presentation of the food, the flavors, the uniform of the servers, and overall experience should be higher end. Staff was friendly though and I think if I were to go again, I might have a burger or one of the sandwiches that looked good and were better priced.

Lamb lollipop appetizer was exceptional. My meal was not quite as impressive, but okay. Great selection of drinks, specials and variety of entrées. Excellent service and good atmosphere.

I will state right off that I am a vegetarian! I sometimes cheat with shellfish as I did here. This is a very nice place, great atmosphere, nice open concept with a cozy bar in the back. Friendly staff, our waitress was very attentive without being intrusive. The food ...so big portions, a wonderful sourdough bread served before dinner. My grilled prawns served on spaghetti pasta were a little over done and not seasoned. The shrimp and the grilled zucchini side definitely had a "grilled" flavor but it wasn't good. Can't quite explain, almost a bitter taste. My boyfriend enjoyed his prime rib. I would give it another try just for atmosphere.

The experience, atmosphere, and ambience was nice and relaxing. The setting and space were comfortably nice and adequate. The restaurant, lounge, and restrooms were very clean and well kept.The appetizers and bread were fresh and delish.The actual meals were just ok though and for a $30 lobster tail or a $40 prime rib I'm looking for more than ok. It was the entree and the sides that brought the score down. Somebody definitely needs a new brussel sprout recipe.

Went with a group so service charge added to the bill no problem I get it and our waitress was amazing. Food was not great especially for the price a sandwich and 2 cocktails 120.00. not someplace I'd go back to.

Wow, I am more than unimpressed,sadly! I’m from California , my brother Chicago we know good meat and when it’s made with love you can taste it! Just dropped ..$350.00 to go because my 83 yr old mother wanted a good steak for her birthday dinner. She wouldn’t even eat it , and she is in long term care! Might as well have gone to Dennys(not that I have ever gone there but they probably make better ) . This was supposed to be a special meal as we won’t be able to see mom for a while. I’m especially saddened because I ate a really good brunch here last spring with my local friends that are also in the restaurant business. It’s like I was served really low grade beef.Chewy grisly Walmart meat not even close to Costco grade, I feel ripped off !!!!

The Whiskey Sour was great all the rest was not so good. Had a Old Fashioned that was made wrong. Prime Rib was DISGUSTING!!! Had it cleared from the table sadly wasting a good chunk of meat. If your into a SUPER SWEET prime rib this is your place. Service was great and VERY ATTENTIVE.

After being away from Yakima for nearly 10 years, I was excited to try Yakima Steak Co. for my husband’s birthday (which was not acknowledged even though we added the note in our reservation). While the food lived up to the hype, the service was disappointing. For a steakhouse at this price point, the inattentiveness was shocking. We weren’t offered water until we asked (after our food arrived), my husband’s drink sat empty for an extended time until he ultimately flagged down the busser for a refill (at least we can say the busser was great!), and we were rarely checked on. Overall, the poor service overshadowed what could have been a great meal. As people new to the area again, we were hoping this would be a go-to spot, but we don’t plan to return.

Our 50th Anniversary I had prime rib and it was great but the baked potato was really old and so was my husband's he got a new one and it was old too

I can get a better steak a Denny’s! The Ribeyes were flat cut, so you can’t even get a good char and the quality of the meat didn’t even measure up to “choice” quality! I’m out $357 for the three of us (with tip). So disappointing!!!

They were serving old food. Two rotten baked potatoes in the peak of the season. The steak was more like choice rather than Prime. Then they charge you for a salad, even after you've paid top dollar for the meal. Going down hill fast! It all came with an atmosphere of nothing but noise screaming kids. Seated right above use and not farther away. I was hoping for a romantic dinner with my wife of 50 years that evening.
