Luv this place. Good food and friendly staff. Look in for good eats and fun company hit Fanceys.
Truly a local Yonkers bar with a Yonkers crowd, everything I've ever tried from this place is good and the service is just what you can expect from a typical bar.
Great bar the food is great and the service is great. A place to be and a lazy Sunday afternoon!! 🍹🍹
Great atmosphere and delicious drinks! Also super close to the train station so double awesome!
Absolutely a fantastic place with amazing service, food, drinks and not to mention cleanliness! They take pride in their establishment!
Every time my wife and come We have excellent service and food The servers are polite and courteous When you in Yonkers near the metro north train station come and enjoy great food and atmosphere in a Irish pub
Awesome place to hangout and great food & service!! My new go to in yonkers! Check it out you wont be disappointed! 😊
Awesome and friendly staff. Best Bar food I've tasted ever. Chicken Teriyaki is bomb. 🤗. Drinks are really good too.
Def has became the new spot . Shioban and Trish have turned this old man bar into a great spot any night of the week . Love the bartenders weather it’s day or night . Glenda and Stacey during the day rock . And Tommy on nights during the week makes a mean Manhattan and a great Irish sense of humor
Hands down this is our favorite brunch spot! The entire menu is amazingg!! I try something different almost everytime. They don't miss! Sooo gooood!
Great food and atmosphere. I really enjoy the comedy show every week, Striveson is a very funny man!! I'll be back more frequently
My daughter Vicky Ann's her daughter treated me there for Easter dinner. The food was delicious.
Love this place. Great people, great atmosphere, great food and drinks...Patricia and her team make everyone feel welcomed!
Nice spot to go chill/ hangout have some food, drinks and watch events. Staff is very friendly and did is great!
Awesome place quite and relaxing. Staffing is excellent always something happening, Food is Fantastic. High rating****
My go to neighborhood stop for wings - Nice and crispy. I recently also tried their chicken quesadilla, really tasty.
Fabulous meal really enjoyed the atmosphere and the company. Excellent service attentive staff and easy access to public transport.
Everything we’ve ever ordered is delicious. The staff are all super friendly. I love this place.
The Shrimp Burrito is AMAZiNGGG!!! This place is a GEM! Great customer service staff is super attentive. Never a bad experience!
Never had a disappointing meal here. Service is always very friendly.
Dope bar... personifies NYC like no other... strong drinks... great food and ambiance... its like Cheers but not lame...
Glenda is a wonderful hostess. She interacts well with the customers and her regulars. The nachos with grilled chicken were great. My friend had fish and Chips. He enjoyed it.
You must come here. The drinks are good, the prices are decent, the food is more gastro pub than standard bar fare and quite nice. But it’s the modern look, cleanliness, dark bar feel, and all these Irish people in droves that I have no idea what they are doing in hyper diverse Yonkers. The owner is Irish, the managers are Irish, as are the bartenders bus boys and waitresses. It just feels crazy and they are all fun. So superior food, great ambience, good drinks, and wonderful staff make this place one of my favorites ever. And Tom is the Man.
Nice, clean bar. Attentive bartender. I think the owner was walking around and greeting guests (which is a good sign of a business that cares). I had a Guinness and a basket of fries. A few TVs with sports on. Just a nice, chill spot to go for a drink or a bite to eat with friends. I think this used to be Tyrone's Bar back in the day... I like what it's become.
Extraordinary nourishment and mindful help. All that I have attempted here has not disillusioned me yet. The gourmet specialist unquestionably knows how a medium uncommon burger ought to be cooked. Nourishment is predictable. The upstairs feasting region is a concealed jewel. Just spot in south yonkers you can get great bar nourishment
The fish and chips, sliders, sweet potato fries and clam chowder are so delicious. The owner and staff are so friendly and always speedy service.
I absolutely LOVE this place. Food taste amazing. I am an extremely picky eater & they ALWAYS get my complicated order correct. They have great beers on tap. Its a very clean and comfortable atmosphere. The music makes me happy & the staff omg.. The best people ever! The boss should be really proud of ALL their hardwork. Please make sure you meet their bartenders Tom & Paul. They made me appreciate this place that much more, super inviting & as real as bartenders can get. Besides their accents add that much more to the authenticity of an Irish pub. #LongLiveFranceyBrady
The menu looked really good. I decided on a burger, because well a new place I like to try the burger. I find if you screw up a burger, how can you make anything else? I got the Francey's Fix which is a burger with bacon, an egg and cheese as well as lettuce, tomato and onion on a brioche bun. It came with crispy fries. The burger was wonderful. Very delicious and juicy.
The Shepherd's Pie is my go to, it is absolutely delicious, and I could eat 100 of them if I had a larger stomach. It's a lovely bar, lovely atmosphere and great bartenders.
I never write reviews but in this case I must. I love the Paddy burger from Francey Bradys.. tonight they were so packed that there was a mix up with my order. The owner called and delivered my order to me personally. Hows that for customer service?
Just moved in the area and my boyfriend and I were looking for a place to have a bite to eat. We had salmon, rice and veggies, it was sooo good, didn’t expect that at a bar. Great drinks, nice service!
This place it's great since it's reopening. I've been here multiple times now for lunch and the food and service have been great. I've gotten the burgers and chicken pot pie and both have been excellent.
Awesome spot to watch the game and grab a bite to eat. It is really really clean, and they have some great food. I often come here now instead of traveling to the city for a good time. Solid spot!
Friends took me here for a birthday brunch! Food was fantastic and service was super friendly and hospitable. It's a great atmosphere and we ate privately upstairs. I highly recommend for brunch, lunch, dinner or I saw people at the bar having fun with some drinks!
Great place. Great atmosphere. Great menu. We had a really good time Saturday night. We love the staff. The owner is very proactive. The bartender is very active and attentive. We were very happy with the food. I look forward to trying more of the menu. Very friendly and divers crowd. I would recommend this place. Parking garage right behind the bar. Very convenient. I arranged a surprise birthday dinner for my girlfriend. They really went out of their way to make it successful. Service was great. Hospitality was top notch. It went so well, I look forward to the next occasion. Thank you Francey Brady’s.
Great atmosphere and exceptional service accompanied by friendly locals! The food was very good and reasonably priced with cans of local beer provided by the brewery around the corner! I liked the lunch and service that I received on Saturday so much that I returned Sunday morning(ish) for brunch. Highly recommended, and I hope to visit again on my next trip to Yonkers!
Great food and attentive service. Every thing I have tried here has not disappointed me yet. The chef certainly knows how a medium rare burger should be cooked. Food is very consistent. The upstairs dining area is a hidden gem. Only place in south yonkers you can get good pub food
Great experience. A very good pint of Guinness, and a serendipitous bit of Irish whiskey: Redbreast 15 Year. Spinach and artichoke dip was delicious, as was the beef stew. And ... best part of all, everything was hot and fresh. A nice pit stop after a Yankee game.
The menu and food quality for a local Bar, is incredible. Happy Hour menu- ok, Dinner menu phenomenal! Service is always great and staff very pleasant always read the vibe well. Never disappoints, Sharon the Bartender is the Best!
I had a burger with an over easy egg on top (don't judge) and it was delicious. I think it was called something like Francey's Fix. I was in Yonkers for a meeting with a coworker, so I gave my him some of the burger and he agreed that it was pretty amazing. Seemed like a cool lunch spot. The staff was nice and the food was reasonably priced. Overall, it was a great experience.
Still our go-too place in yonekrs. They are amazing. The owner makes u feel welcomed part of the family. All their food is THE BEST. Happy to see them open for takeout now during pandemic even if it's a few days a week . We support our local restaurants in YONKERS. Happy they opening for take out little at a time
And the prices won't have you taking out a home mortgage to pay for the bill. VERY reasonable. But food and drink are just one of the attributes to this very fine establishment. Stacey the bartender is engaging with all of the customers and seems to know the regulars on a first-name basis. The evening bartender (I forgot his name) saw my golf hat and we discussed the local courses as if we had known each other for years
Moderate prices very good food! The salmon delicious. I would go back again! Frankly other places getting too expensive. They keep prices reasonable and food very good. Football on Sundays loads of TV
I absolutely love this place. Great staff & bartenders. Donald my favorite bartender is no longer there after Corona hit & closed everything down. However the bar has since opened & are in covid 19 compliance. Social Distancing is in effect & the drinks are still amazing.
I used to come to Francy Brady’s and it was okay, but after coming back recently, I was blown away by the incredible changes! The new management has truly transformed the place. The staff is friendly, attentive, and welcoming, and you can really feel the positive energy. The food is absolutely delicious — the wings are packed with flavor, the French onion soup is amazing, the penne alla vodka is perfectly cooked, and the shepherd’s pie is pure comfort food. Everything we tried was outstanding! Congratulations to the new owners, the staff, and the chefs for creating such a fantastic experience. This spot is a must-visit if you’re in Yonkers. I will definitely keep coming back!
Katie was pleasure, a star in the making , keep her busy she will go so far
This place was great. Came here with my wife, sister and her husband for some drinks and food and had a great time. The staff was friendly and the service was great. We got fish and chips. Wings. Mozzarella sticks. Curry chicken with fries and everything was delicious. This is a fun spot to chill and have drinks. The had a festival going on outside that we enjoyed. Would love to come back and try more dishes.
Atmosphere is great, friendly staff, food and beverages top tier and the owner is a gem, I’m a repeat here the seafood platter is my go too
Absolutely love this place. All bartenders are amazing. Food is delicious (calamari my favorite). Vibes are cool, like CHEERS! Karaoke on Wednesdays , Dj on Thursday . There are bingo nights. Just an overall place to chill in Downtown Yonkers for all ages without the DRAMA! Love this place
Great ambiance on any night. The food is great portions along with taste. Staff is amazing… Erin is the best bartender, I asked for a hard but sweet mixed drink and she made me the best drink I’ve had in a long time. They host karaoke and DJ nights where this comes alive.
Was looking on Google for a place in Yonkers to have a brunch date with a friend on Saturday December 30th. We picked Francey Brady's and glad we did. Love the neighborhood vibe & the decor. I had the omelette with Sausage, onions, cheese with home fries. My friend had the fish & chips. Food & drinks were great! Bartender (sorry forgot he name) was very attentive and loved her position energy. We also met the owner very lovely lady. We gonna definitely return soon. Highly recommend this wonderful Irish neighborhood bar. Happy New Year Francey Brady's.
Tired for the first time and it didn't disappoint. We had the brunch burger and deep south. Great portions and flavor! Highly recommend if you're looking for good food in the area. Just an FYI, parking is just on the street with a meter.
Be ready to eat if you come here, because the portions are pretty big. They have $4 mimosas during brunch hours, and their brunch menu has decent variety. I was able to make a reservation for a group of 20, for which they didn't require a deposit. We were very comfortable in the upstairs room. Prices are fair, and staff was very accommodating. Edit: Returned to Francey Brady's and liked it even more than the first time. They have some of the best popcorn shrimp I've ever tasted. Their BBQ pork quesadilla is delicious. The texture on the fish part of the fish and chips is perfect.
Love this place. Bartenders are great, super attentive and will chat you up if you want or leave you be if you don't. Good cast of regulars, has a real community watering hole vibe. Usually just stop in for a shot and a beer but end up joking around talking about random stuff with whoever I end up sitting next to at the bar. Food is good too, favorites would have to be the ruben or the fish and chips. Wish my wife would let me go more than once a month!
My favorite “go to” neighborhood spot, which is saying a lot since there is no shortage of fine dining in downtown Yonkers. The food is always amazing and the portions are generous. Service is always warm and welcoming from the bartenders down to the owner. The music is everything you’d expect from a local Irish pub! Their specials menu always has a great selection of creative and seasonal dishes to keep things interesting. I’ve yet to eat something there that wasn’t delicious.
Love our neighborhood pub! Solid beer selection and fantastic food. I've tried nearly everything on the menu and there hasn't been a single misstep. They also run weekly menu specials that are great too. The owners are lovely people and the bartenders are always around for a laugh.
Excellent Irish pub. Good food and service. The ambient could be more like Ireland's pubs.
Their food has definitely elevated over the years. This new chef and menu is an absolute HIT!!!
Good lunch menu. Decently priced beer. Friendly staff. They play nba, nfl, mlb, boxing on the multiple tvs. Can be a bit dark but it is a bar so it's to be expected.
Most pleasant and service oriented waitress Food of good quality and quite tasty Al Fresca dining truly satisfies.
We love this neighborhood watering whole. Its the best. Food is delicious and prompt and Patricia the owner is very personable.
The staff is great. The music was great. Very clean establishment. I'll be returning.
Good food and pleasant staff. Not always the best draught beer, though. They're working on it I believe.
I would have given this a 5 if there wasn't a smoker lighting up at bar and then when told to go outside by employees he smoked right at the door allowing smoke to drift in. Ruined our delicious soups, perfect crispy fries, and very competent burgers. Service very good. Beer selection ok. Could have more porters/stouts.
Very pleasant place to be for lunch or early dinner. The owners are so welcoming and the staff are lovely. Still working my way through some of the menu offerings. Sunday brunch is also another good time to meet up with friends.
Good Irish Pub! Great job on the inside, open window seats. A quick local crowd has developed. A well needed, with good pricing and really good food. Welcome to Yonkers waterfront! Tom the barkeep is a real old school Irish bartender.
My first time there for dinner last night. Good was very good and the service was friendly and kind. Would go there again if I’m in Yonkers.
Service and food had nice quality and quantity. Shrimp burrito was great but didn't have much shrimp. Cesar salad was great and the Romain was perfect.
Cozy little gem in downtown Yonkers. Great food and great service! Our waiter Tony was awesome and attentive. Love the traditional Irish fare as well as a few surprises!
Went in for a quick soup ( mushrooms, yummy). Place was clean , staff seemed helpful and the people in general in there were pleasant. Will come back to try more dishes and drinks.
Not bad at all. Nice local bar with a few tables. The food was actually quite delicious. I've been there twice already.
Pretty nice , but way too expencive . $23 & change, for fish&chips & one pt of Coors , at lunch time , plus tip .
Potato soup missing potato flavor. Corned beef in my Reuben was dry. Messing up potato and corned beef in an Irish bar was surprising.
Disappointed in my experience here tonight. I had been here before and highly recommended it for a bite to eat after the Waterfront Concert. We ordered Onion Rings, Mozzarella Sticks and Pork Dumplings for appetizers and they were quite good. The food we ordered for dinner was a different story. I ordered the Wings - medium. They were very dry and were quite spicy - definitely hotter than medium. Another of us ordered the chicken tenders and she also said that they were dry. The 3rd person in the party ordered the ribs - which were pretty tasty but also a bit dry. The waitress came to check on us after a while and asked how the food was; when I told her that the wings were dry and questioned if they were in fact "medium" she said, "Sorry" and walked away, not even offering to rectify the problem. Very disappointing!
Local bar for some drinks and music. The atmosphere is cool pending on maturity of patrons.
Today I went to Fracey’s to get a lunch take out and was excited to see they had a catfish sandwich as a lunch special. However, when I got back to my office to eat the sandwich I discovered that the catfish was not de-boned! Unfortunately, I couldn’t eat my sandwich for lunch because of this. If I had enough time between the time I discovered this and the end of my lunch hour, I would have take. The sandwich back
They have really good French fries . But the fish is fake it is not real fish. It will disappoint you especially if you are hungry. This place is only good if you want Fries
Tracey is the best! Outstanding service and always cheerful!.... HOWEVER as an African American I will NOT go there when RONAN is working he is a drug addicted racist!.... as a African American woman I only go when Tracey or Patrice is working. PERIODT!
They need more staff. The drinks were good but the food was lackluster. The servers were busy, we were served food without utensils and napkins. Had to wait for condiments and napkins.
I really need to speak with the owner because the bangers and mash tasted like good mashed potatoes with jimmy dean snausages just tossed in. It didn’t taste authentic at all. But what saved them was the guacamole that accompanied the loaded nachos. I have never loved guacamole in my life because it has always tasted the same, this was the first time in my life that I’ve ever enjoyed and salivated for more guacamole. They make it differently by putting a dash of citrus in there and it is the ultimate game changer. Again, this is coming from a person who has hated guacamole his entire life because it just tasted like mashed avocado and no flavor. I had a Guinness stout draft and we also had Buffalo wings. It was enjoyable except for the bangers and mash.
Was there tonight Wednesday night. The bartender I think Erin is her name is a horrible bartender, zero personality, grumpy miserable face, only catered to single guys . Me and my date had to wait 20 mins to get a drink each time and it wasn't busy the bar was kept dirty with dishes . I'm a bartender and can't believe she has a job there.
Good food but the staff sucks. Service is flat and they pick and choose who they want to serve. They need bartenders cause the lady here is overwhelmed
New to the area. I went here for lunch. I got it to go. I got a buffalo chicken salad. The salad was not fresh and the chicken was overcooked. Service was fast and friendly. I didn’t get any drink so i don’t know. I’d go back to see about drinks but not interested in their food. If you can’t get a salad right then I’m not interested.
My first experience at Francy Brady's was not a good one, immediately my friends and I noticed that the owner did not greet people that color that attended the opening of this establishment. My friends have been back since and the establishment does not seem to care for African Americans. Its sad because I was a loyal customer of the Thouse. Guess we will have to find somewhere else to spend our money.
Beer tasted super flat! Burger was prepared well done after asking for “medium rare”. Wings sauce was salty. Will not return.
Waitress, very pleasant, on today's visit. Chicken White Bean had several pieces of sausage with casing. Steak so tough, inedible. No manager available to speak to. Too bad, it's my fourth and last visit.
My experience was HORRIBLE!. I went for some food and drink and was seated for more than 20 mins before I was even served!. I complained to the bartender "Tom" about the service and he proceeded to say if I do not like the service then I can get up and leave. I told him I should not have to leave I should receive the same service that anyone else would be receiving. He did not like my response to him and told me " I now refuse to service you" I ask him under what grounds and he replied..."because I can". I told him that is not right and I should receive service. He then goes upstairs to the second floor and tells a group of about 10-12 off duty officers that I am giving a problem. The officers come down to ask me what seems to be the problem and I responded and told them there was no problem on my end the problem is with the service that Tom is giving me and my wife. I ask to speak to a manager there was no manager present tom replied and you will have to come another day to speak to him. I felt threatened offended and disrespected by the actions of that bartender "tom". I ALSO HAVE VIDEO EVIDENCE!. Download the app YELP and you will see the video. That bartender should be fired and if not fired that establishment should be shut down for mistreatment of customers.
Not a good place to eat and they don’t respect people of color. All they want is the brown and black peoples money. I went there for dinner and cocktails. We asked the waitress about happy hour she gave attitude from the start. Then I proceeded to ask about frozen drinks and she told me with such attitude that this is March and no we don’t have frozen drinks. I then said to her well I know it’s March and restaurant do serve frozen drinks during the winter. Then this waitress trough her hands up at me and said anyway what do you want I felt like she dismissed me and just should had said the N word what do you want. So my company and I proceeded to explain it to the owner who clearly decided with her waitress and told us there is 3 sides to a story we all know what that means. I was like what! so in her book if your black your wrong for speaking up. But we left and went to another restaurant and at that restaurant we met up with brown people who said they just left because that same waitress wasn’t nice to them at all. This is not the first time I heard that Francey Brady’s had a racist streak I didn’t want to believe it but after tonight dealing with the owner and this waitress I believe it now.
I actually can not believe the level of rudeness that I received from this establishment, I am a huge food/bar/restaurant lover in fact my boyfriend and I go out most days, it’s just him and I, so I walk in to this establishment on Saturday, my boyfriend and I had traveled from Connecticut about 2hrs away, absolutely in need of a refreshment, my boyfriend orders a drink, my mother and I ordered a black berry margarita supposed to be their specialty drink, anyways my mother takes a sip so do I, we realize the drink was very sweet and poorly made right away I tell the server that we would like to return the drinks explained why and said to her my mother suffers from diabetes, I said please give us a glass of white wine, she takes our drinks behind the bar and talk to the bartender, the bartender comes by the table and tells me that she is unable to substitute the drinks for a glass of wine because if she does she would have to pay for those drinks herself and that those drinks she gave us were good and that she made them herself, she wasn’t gonna replace them, tells us that she’ll bring our drinks back, of course after god knows what was done to them and said to us that the owner forbids it and she refused to have us speak with the owner she said the owner/manager was unavailable!!!! literally arguing to us!!! Shortly after we see the owner leaving ....!! . my boyfriend worked in many establishments as a bartender While in law school so he normally is a very good tipper very reasonable and fair and in his whole life this was the only time we didn’t tip people just imagine yourself in our feet I will leave it with that...!!!!!! Greatly displeased
