We were recommended to come here by a local, and this was one of the best recommendations we’ve had! What a gem to the community! The staff is so sweet to my kids and so kind to our needs. Have you tried the cinnamon streusel muffin? You can’t leave until you do! Our server was so sweet. Thank-you Kim, my kids loved your personality, you’re amazing!

If you like breakfast, and diner food you will love Clarkie's. My wife and I love coming here together when we get a chance, but my supervisor at work is the one who introduced me to this place, and now it's our favorite diner. Ask for Alex. She's a great server, and you have to try the Cinnamon Streusel. It's the best!

OK, I found my new favorite spot for Breakfast....If you are anywhere near here you have to stop in!! The food is awesome, the people are fantastic, and don't even ask me about the portion size...finally a place where you get more than you pay for!! I have already planned out my next 4 visits what I'm having!!!

The whole vibe in the restaurant was really good. Feels warm and friendly. The food was great too. It surprised me that the scrambled eggs are made by real egg instead of egg liquid. Tastes amazing! Iced tea is unsweetened which is great. If you prefer sweet tea you might need to tell them. We came here because I really want to have biscuits with gravy for my breakfast but everything else was beyond my expectations.

Came to visit to have breakfast because they had great reviews online and we were looking for breakfast in the area and live about 45 min away and not familiar with the area. Definitely did not disappoint, it was so busy and the food was fantastic! Everyone on staff was so kind and helpful only thing with being really busy is to give them patience which was totally okay for me and my table since every seat was constantly taken, my only complaint was that all my food didn’t come out at the same time but it all trickled out within a few minutes each part but besides that it was great. Definitely would return!

Stopped here on my way to Los Angeles, and I was amazed. The food was good and big portions. The only thing I thought needed a little more flavor was the pancake, but other than that, it was good. Service was awesome. Our drinks were always filled. They do have a pretty big menu, a lot of options. Definitely recommend.

My husband and I have gone to Clarkies for breakfast and lunch since they have a good selection for both. My husband ordered the eggs, bacon, english muffin and fruit. He added their cinnamon strudel muffin which they are known for. I ordered the Asian Salad. Both meals were very good. They are always busy so expect to wait. They have benches outside for waiting. The service is great. They are friendly and efficient, they take your order in a timely matter. For how busy they are, they do a great job of seating people as quick as possible. The inside is not fancy but it is clean. The food is great so that is why they are so successful.

Fantastic breakfast! Copious portion sizes, affordable prices, and great service. Reminiscent of a good ole' diner from the pre-2000s. The coffee cup was never more than half-empty as an endless stream of refills kept coming. Enough food on the plate to keep your belly full until bedtime. The standout item to me was the Cinnamon Streusel Muffin which is included as a side item on the breakfast combos. Don't come here and pass it up! The batter for the chicken fried steak was also very good.

This Place is an absolute Treasure!! If you have not had the great pleasure of dining here you are missing out. Right off the 10 FWY in Yucaipa/Calimesa, you can't miss it. The staff is so friendly and wonderful. Thanks to Millie and Chris who made our return visit a treat. Even the guests who are here are cordial and kind. The Food is outstanding!! Look at our Pics. Most always the food is really good. Will leave a review a different day when we get there a little bit earlier. Getting there an hour before closing time they're closing down the grill in the cleaning the place up for the next business days so we'll go again soon

I ordered a veggie sandwich with side of fries and my husband had the Clarkie’s breakfast burrito. Food was wonderful but the burrito does have a lot of potatoes (if you don’t like potatoes). First time having breakfast at this local establishment. Was generally interested because of the reviews and feedback from locals. I'll start off saying that the service was polite and very accommodating. My experience with the food is quite opposite of what others posted on here. To charge $18 for a hamburger patty with a small portion of potatoes and two eggs, I would expect the quality for that price to be better. When my plate arrived is a hamburger patty was pressed down to a thin piece of meat which was cold. Potatoes were also cold and extra oily like they were regrilled or fried and still undercooked. Leslie, $3 for a few slices of tomatoes I find to be highly ridiculous. My overall take is the food is so far. Others at my table have better tasting food but it was cold as well.
