Every Cuca's is a bit different. For years, we have been coming to this one. The food is great and there is a dining area.

Clean. Lots of parking. Friendly staff. Always great food.

The carne asada burrito with beans and rice was huge and very tasty! The small chips and guac was bigger than we thought and it would be and the chips were amazing as well.

Love this place. If you're looking for good old fashioned greasy Mexican food, this is a great place to grab a bite. Their sauce is really good too. It compliments their food nicely. My favorite thing to order is the ground beef combo burrito. My son loves their fries.

I've been going to Cucas since she opened her 1st restaurant in Redlands, sadly Yucaipa just hasn't kept up the same quality of food and the prices have literally doubled. I find myself disappointed every time I eat there . 10/10/24. I still eat here dont know why, waste of money, the last few months theyve screwed up the orders, again yesterday, I ordered daily special with 2 green burritos with extra cheese, got home no cheese at all and no green sauce on the burritos. They literally sucked. To top it off i asked for green sauce as well and they gave me red for the sides. Sorry Cuca, i know you have put alot of work into your restaurants and have thrived. Yucaipa is consistently the worst. Get some new workers that actually care.

We ordered a cheese enchilada plate in the drive through for my mom who is terminally ill, but just wanted some really good Mexican food. Of course we chose Cuca's! The food here is always good. We were surprised by the two cheese enchiladas they served us. I thought a plate dinner included beans and rice. When I asked the girl at the window about it, she comped us a side of beand and rice and refused to accept payment. I felt like this employee really did some excellent customer service that was worthy of a 5 star review. Thank you for your kindness, for your flavorful food, and for your staff!

Yucaipa location is just awesome! Food is always cooked to order and still piping hot when I get home. Staff has always been lind, even when they are extremely busy. There is an occasion when they miss something, but they always correct it with credit on your next visit or will remake it for you. Overall just an excellent experience when dinning here.

They have a lot on the menu which is great! The food is good, I have always enjoyed dining in with my family. They have earned my business, and I highly recommend this restaurant.

With this being their new location,it's still is one of the best places for Mexican food in Redlands! The customer service is excellent and the atmosphere is still the same great vibe as the older location. I do like the bar, that situation in right backside of the restaurant and margaritas are still Primo! The prices are very fair and quality of the meals are worth every penny and more. It's perfect a place for everyday dinning and special occasions.

Cucas Mexican food is so delicious and the price is well worth it not expensive at all . Been going there for 6 years maybe like 3 times out of a month. Friendly staff also. The only thing I have with this place is that the hot sauce is not hot 🔥 what Mexican food does not tast good with very hot Chile. But it's ok I bring my own 😂. Because her food is delicious 😋

My number one place I HAVE TO GO TO for their taquitos when in California. I order the chicken AND the beef taquitos...2 orders of each along with other items for the family. Their good amount of guacamole and red salsa are delicious over all MY taquitos!! THE BEST!

I ordered a carne asada beef taco and a brc burrito. I frequent Rosies here in town. But they were closed already closed. The food was very good. My family enjoyed all the items especially the carne asada burrito. It was nice fat juicy and flavorful. The best I’ve had in quite a while.

Amazing food and at a great price

Best Mexican food in Yucaipa. Plus, they make their own chips. Green salsa definitely better than the red. Inside not as nice as the Mentone location but still good. And these guys have a drive thru which is convenient. They've never gotten our order wrong all these years. 5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ stars

For a fast food location the food is excellent. Better than most Mexican restaurants. I usually order the three item combo for variety. I order the beef taquitos, chille relleno, and carnitas sope. It is so much food. I take the relleno and place it in the giant flower tortilla that comes with it. Take some of the carnitas from the sope, guacamole from the taquitos, beans and rice. Wrap it all up and I've made myself one of the best burrito ever! The service has always been friendly. There are a few other Cuca's locations, but the Yucaipa location is my favorite.

Food is always great! Wonderful people there behind the counter! Felt very welcoming!

THIS PLACE IS MY ABSOLUTELY FAVORITE PLACE TO GET BEAN, RICE, AND CHEESE BURRITOS! I grew up eating these and they are an absolute treat when I come visit my family! They have tons of indoor and outdoor seating, tons of options on the menu for tasty bites and even serve beer and wine now when you dine in! They also have a drive through! I love this place and I have to stop by every time I visit!

Been eating at Cucas since 1990 (Redlands loc) PROS: high quality ingredients(like all white meat chxn in the chxn burritto& NO beans & rice), good cheese & sour cream($$), fresh cilantro & house made sauces, blow ur mind delish grilled chxn salad that's delish while still being lite. Call in/pick up orders r quick. CONS: prices going up & portions going down(MORE so than everyone else), green sauce was the best anywhere, now its soo hot u cant eat the food u put it on(PLEASE, change it back!), close whenever they feel like it despite posted hours...so, if ure craving Cucas at 8pm...too bad they r likely closed. Matter of fact, I wouldnt even waste ur time or gas driving down there after 7:30pm. LONG drive thru line between 6&7pm (1/2 hr wait). I have noticed the green sauce is still the best around at their Redlands location & they stick to their posted hours there too.

Love the food here. I starting going to the one in Alhambra when I lived there. Went to the one in Pico Riviera when I worked there. Now I live in Huntington Beach and come to the one in Anaheim. Love their taquitos and corn quesadillas! Only thing, they remodeled and priced went up.

I've the food. Home-style. It's order-and-sit-down. Throwaway plates. Enchiladas are never great when they're not placed in the oven or broiler for a bit, and they're not here. But I love the tacos and taquitos.

Good comfort Mexican food. Drive thru or dine in, walk up counter to order - food was delivered to our table. Their salsa is terrific, just the right blend of spice, tomatoes, cilantro and onion. The salsa compliments any food item you order. Their taquitos are delicious and try their taquito burrito - family favorite. Inside dining is very casual - could use a good steam cleaning on the booth seats. With that said, we prefer the Cuca's off Lugonia & Wabash (or Barton & California) for a nicer dine in ambiance. This location having the drive thru is convenient & still consistently good food. We noticed "Weekly Specials" posted, really was a special for each day of the week, for less than $2. (Ex. Saturday: egg & cheese burrito, different day of the week special was bean & cheese burrito etc). Employee did not know if these specials were only at Yucaipa location.

We all have a favorite Mexican food restaurant, and for many families... It's Cucas. Wether you are in Yucaipa, Redlands, Mentone, or Highland... They are near by. Great tacos, tamales, burritos with hand shredded chicken! We love the salsa, and it is a favorite on my Chicken burrito. Do not expect FAST food, be ready to sit in line if you drive, that is part of the experience- for me. Maybe if you go inside, it might be faster?? I usually am on my way somewhere- and drive in and plan to get fresh food. The young lady at the Redlands store is a great asset, her personality is Golden.

Drive-thur was very busy so I went inside to order. Service was very good, they were fast but they packed my order to dine in but it was to go. They repacked my food to go but that meant my wet burrito's weren't very wet. Most of the sauce and cheese stayed on the plates, so getting home my family didn't get the burrito's they asked for.

I walked in for an order to go. The Staff was very friendly. I ordered only two items. Once home, I opened my order. I was disappointed to see that what was rang up and in my bag was not quite what I had ordered. It was missing one of the three ingredients they I had specifically asked for. Since I'm already home, I did not go back. Don't get me wrong, the food was very good, just missing 1 ingredient.

hate that they limit salsa to 2 per burrito and 1 per everything else but can't deny good is so good!!!!! You can get an 8oz side if salsa (red or green) for 2.99 which I have to do lol. Their salsa is bomb.

I come here regularly for my favorite the Deluxe Taco Burger w/cheese a rice cup and small chips and salsa with a Jamaica to drink. The staff is usually friendly and helpful. Bathrooms are clean and dining area is well maintained.

Its a little dim in the dining area, and the upholstery could use a good cleaning, but I was surprised by how cheery and clean the kitchen looked in comparison. I ordered the chili verde burrito. It was quite good and was solid meat! Knocked 1 star for dining room appearance.

Really good shredded chicken burrito! It only comes with cheese and meat though, so you have to add whatever you would like extra. Not so much of a huge burrito but it's a nice size. For only 11.00 bucks! Ya can't beat that, with a side of fries.

The food is good. But personally I think they are over priced for the portion of food served. I knew I didn't go there for a reason. But I do like their salsa.

The food is okay but not great. Every time I order online, even though the website tells me my food is ready, they haven't started my order until I've come inside to pick it up. So I don't recommend wasting your time with that.

I like the food.....but every time I go they never have the torta bread.....just about every time I go n ask for one.... N they're good....All their food is good n service too..... But that's the only problem...the torta....

The food taste the same from the one in Redlands. Shows consistency among the other Cucas. Went two nights in a row. Both times the biggest complaint, the food was dry, Wet Carnita (pork) burrito the carnita it self was dry. Tamales night before, wife said it was dry. My biggest complaint was it was drive though, take out, cost me $30 for two!!! Really, $30 FOOD DIVE THROUGH, IN YUCAIPA!!!! Never again. Sorry Cucas, your food ain't that good to charge that much.

It's an alright little place. More like americanized mexican food then authentic mexican food. The nachos were drowning in liquid cheese, not what we expected they were soggy before we could even get halfway through.

Nothing fancy. I had the menudo. Nothing to write home about. More hominy than meat. Service was ok. The flavor was ok.

The food is average, but the price is ridiculous for the amount they serve. Their portions will barely be enough for a child. We went there only because they were one of only a few places open due to the power outages. Getting food at Cuca's reminded me of why I don't eat at Cuca's. People it is up to you if you want to overpay for snack sized meals.

Food is good. Price is pricey. Portions are very small for the money and shredded taco meat is dry. Taco is small. Beans and rice plate is small and shallow!!!so they cheat you on the bean and rice portions!!! Enchilada is good but could be better. Should be half price for the amount of food. Lol.

Usually this place is delicious. But today, for some reason they messed up my order as well as my fiance's order. And there were 2 employees that were being loud and unprofessional in the lobby, while we were eating. If the music is too loud to talk over maybe try turning it down instead of yelling while you have people sitting in the front eating.

My place was very slow to open the window and collect my money from the drive-thru there was nobody there but seemed like they were still busy I never seen anybody in this parking lot thought I'd try it order carne asada burritos wet the burritos were all meet no beans and rice these burritos were not very good I understand why nobody goes here.

This place used to be my go to for Mexican, however the quality has gone down hill over the last few months. Prices have gone up, but the ingredients inside the tacos and burritos are less. I hope the owners see this, you need to have a talk with your cooks.

Was on my way to Rosie’s but they were closed for the 4th of July. So I ended up at cuca’s and I must say I was pretty disappointed with the food. Got a carne Asada burrito 🌯 with beans rice and guacamole wet style. Major disappointment. The asada was more like ground beef. there was hardly any beans or rice even in it and the guacamole was at the end of the burrito not even a full half‘s worth. Don’t think I’ll be back

I absolutely love Cucas but this particular one I don't care for. Whenever I get food from this one, it's not fresh. The salsa tastes like it's been there for a while. I'd much rather go to the one in mentone, Redlands or Loma Linda

Food is mediocre for the price. Salsa is okay, but definitely lacking in heat and flavor. Tacos are greasy and beans are very runny. Overall, I was not impressed by their food selection.

Be prepared to wait over 30 minutes for your food, even if you’re doing drive through. Don’t chimichanga your burrito, it won’t be crispy Somehow, 2 burritos cost $30 My carne asada was pink if you’re into that kinda thing They don’t accept modifications very well

Normally this place is amazing. I ordered the same thing I always get but this time the food was over cooked to the point where I couldn't even eat it. You could taste the burnt beans.

Took my mother thru the drive-thru for taquitos and for 6.99 and after 20 mins waiting in line she had 3 taquitos with 1 TBS of guacamole and a load of cheese. She wasn't too happy.

I used to always get the bean and cheese burrito or brc with the salsa......the quality and taste has drastically changed. I used to go specifically because of the salsa which is quite flavorless now. The Tortilla quality has changed as well......I might give it another chance and hope it was a fluke but have a feeling this is the new norm 😔

I had to drive all the way back in a rush before my nighttime class to get the right order that they messed up. They were supposed to give me a ground beef taco salad. All I got was a big helping of mostly beans rice and lettuce, along with the other condiments. When I went back the lady making the food in the back was rude by showing me she was placing a huge dumping of ground beef on my salad and saying, "See?" I couldn't even get through more than a few bites. It was disgusting! I am never going back to this location and sticking with the Mentone location, even if it's more of a drive. Very disappointed!

Normally this place is amazing. But that last time I was there I waited 40 minutes for my order. They claim they "never received the order " once I received my food it was amazing as always 😋 I will be coming back just better customer service.

I'm not one to write bad reviews but this is like the 3rd time our order was wrong. We went through the drive thru and they forgot an order of beans and rice and then didn't give us the senior discount after we asked for it. Last time we visited they got our order wrong completely. I'd just say, double check your food when you go through the drive thru, and double check your receipt. We enjoy getting food from Cuca's but not when there are so many issues.... Thanks for letting me vent :)

I usually love this place but I paid $8 for two tacos that only had shredded beef in them. I ordered a two shredded beef taco combination plate.

we bought ground beef burritos with the works...got home one had no sour cream or beans the other was just ground beef and cheese this is not)the 1st time!

We will go to Rosie’s from here on. Whenever we order bean and cheese burritos from this place, they scrimp with the cheese! This place is cheap and cheats their customers. They charge plenty but can’t afford cheese on a bean and CHEESE burrito. Bad business ethics.

Went through the drive thru thinking it would be fast and easy. Got stuck in line for 20min waiting for a single bean and cheese burrito. Burrito came out to be $4.52 gave him $5.52 needing $1 for change. Cashier gave me the wrong amount in charge...56 cents. Had to tell the guy his mistake and tell him the proper change I needed. So frustrating...

Line was long, service was mediocre, and food was disgusting. Shredded beef was full of fat and gristle. I had tried them before and decided to give them another chance. I regret that decision, still gross. I ordered hard shell tacos and got taco bell shells, could have gone to Taco bell or Del taco, at least it wouldn't have been half full of fat and I could have actually eaten it.

Worst customer service ever!!!!!! The cashier got my order wrong. I politely waited at the counter with my food for about 10 minutes. Nobody assisted me. I finally decided to call over an employee to correct my food, she looked confused and had to call another employee. By then, about 15 minutes had passed, I decided to ask for my money back. The employee helping me was rude and I never received an apology. Never coming here again 🤦‍♀️

Sat in the drive thru for almost 10 minutes just for a taquito burrito and carne asada fries with shredded cheese, sour cream, and guacamole. The total was 19.03. Got home and I didn't even have sour cream or guacamole on my carne asada fries. Just cheese and meat. And this isn't the first time I heard of them doing this. So they lost my business.

I won't be back. Several months ago had chicken enchiladas, Inside one was the top of an avocado and a strip of paper,,I complained, they said what I thought was a rock was the top of avocado, said it flew when they chop the avocado no explanation for the strip of paper,,went back tonight, got a chicken taco,,gross, has a big strip of fat and stretchy gristle,,,omg,,I wanted to barf. They don't pay attention to what they are cooking and putting in the food,, ,disgusting. Horrible, don't go there.

Bad customer service, food could improve taste, specially chicken tacos. Need to add more Mexican hot drinks or any Mexican drinks for that matter. Way too $$ for the kind and amount of food. But too be fair, the tamales ok, not your typical Mexican tamales.

Placed an order December 1st , 2023 via drive through. No longer live in the area but will drive down when my fiancé has to swing by Yucaipa for school. The order placed 12/01/2023 was a chicken taco salad no lettuce, a side of salsa and a combo burrito. The chicken taco salad came with no chips? And the combo burrito only had ground beef and cheese. I live about 20ish minutes away and did not notice mistakes until I was home. I called same day and was immediately told I could come back another day for remake(I explained the not living in Yucaipa situation and was told no problem). I called today 01/31/2024, asked about remake, considering semester has started again for school (needed to make trip down to Yucaipa)and was told I had only up to two weeks to claim remake and nothing can be done now. I wish I knew this information back in December, I would have took the drive back because this food was expensive!

Food isn't that good. I can do better at home. At these prices, I would expect to get my food and an actual plate not Styrofoam. You have to pay for chips & salsa. They give you a bottle of what tastes like tomato sauce. Everything is overpriced for what you are getting.

Drove there to pick up and made the mistake of taking the drive through (30 minutes stuck in line). Took the order and drive away. There were two very soggy chicken burritos with no beans and rice. Paid extra for burritos that weren't even good. Also, no fruit available.

Not sure whats going on but the food has gone down hill. The last few times we have went it just gets worse. Use to have really great taquitos. Last time I got them I barely got any guacamole and no sour cream. Very greasy. Sad. Been going here for years. I will not be going back. Waste of money.

I ordered a chicken burrito and while I was enjoying it, I bit into something that looks like straw or a stick. I opened up the burrito and found another along with a piece of what appears to be breast bone cartledge. I have been a patron of Cucas for 25+ years. Once in awhile I might find a piece of small bone or cartilage, no big deal. But this??? I am in shock! Also, saddened I will never again enjoy my favorite place for a chicken burrito.

Went for carne asada nachos. Meat was dry. No guacamole, no lemons or limes. Horchata was nasty and watered down. I was very surprised to see their good ratings. Got my stomach hurting.

I’m extremely disappointed with this location’s handling of their punch card promotion. The card clearly states “free burrito ON 10th purchase,” yet when I made my 10th purchase, they refused to honor the deal and instead told me to contact their corporate office. To make matters worse, they said I’d need to go through the drive-thru again, spend additional money, and waste more gas just to use the punch card. When I called the corporate office, there was no answer, and they don’t even have a voicemail set up—completely unprofessional. If they intended for the promotion to apply after the 10th purchase, the card should have been worded correctly. This lack of clarity and poor service cost them a loyal family of customers.

I went there with my girlfriend and will never go again. I had 3 tacos with beans and rice. And the only thing that tasted good was the root beer. The meat in the tacos was dry and tasteless. As was the beans and rice. It's over priced and not worth going to again.

Went through drive thru on a Sunday morning1 there was no one else in line and it was not busy. Ordered a steak quesadilla & 4 burritos. We got home and found a cheese quesadilla instead of steak quesadilla. When you are not busy, and the only customer, how do you mess up an order? Smh. I used to love coming to Cucas growing up. Never again. Do not recommend.

First photo is Yucaipa Nachos, eatable but not enjoyable. Second Nachos are Enjoyable and eatable at Rialto Cuca’s before restaurant closed due to non renewal of lease by the city of Rialto. Sad Yucaipa can’t produce the same product. Yucaipa is a Taco Bell style!!

I was at the speaker for 15 minutes before I ordered my food when I went to the window they got they’re payment and I got a straw with no drink they did something that took 30 minutes then gave me food that was not Evan that good the price was 25$ for 2 people we got 2 burritos don’t come here

Cucas management and ownership…. Do you actually care about the service and food that is being produced by your Yucaipa location? I had a very bad experience with the food and atmosphere today. Following this, I checked your last few reviews. You have people complaining about food poisoning and ending up in the hospital!? And you had no response to them publicly? This is concerning. Also just by watching how the store is being ran, I feel there may actually be no real manager here to make sure the team is doing what they should. Super concerned and confused by the negligence or your consumers (the few ones you have left). Your parking lot is empty and hardly anyone in the drive thru….(I took a couple bites of my food and threw it away in the garbage… very disappointed and disatisfied.)

imagine another taco bell restaurant. my family and i came for authentic Mexican food but got nachoes with can cheese and unseasonably ground beef and sopes with lettuce, shredded yellow cheese, and tomatoes. I would rather go to taco bell where they add at salt to the food. oh and you get served food on Styrofoam plates and the soda is weirdly foamy almost soap like.
