This bar fills up quickly and has a lot of turnover for its tapas. We tried the auricle and the mixed tapas, a 10, and we'll definitely come back.

The best bravas we've ever tried, we even took home a liter of brava sauce. The mixed dishes are also very good; they're not as spicy as the bravas and are mild. The food is already prepared at the bar, and there are tapas, half-portions, and full-portions for almost everything. The croquettes are made with York ham, which is unusual. The baby squid were delicious. The waiter was very friendly and efficient. The prices are very reasonable, 100% recommended.

A local-favorite tapas bar where you can sit or stand to have your ‘caña’ (glass of beer) and a tasty tapa or ‘ración’ (hefty portions of food). You can also go with ‘media ración’ (half a portion). Quick service and good bang for your buck. I highly recommend ‘mixtas’, potatoes with two sauces, red and mayo.

A bar specializing in beers and a variety of tapas. We ordered the Patas Bravas and the Figón, which was what we ordered with Rueda. Centrally located, highly recommended for a visit to Zamora.

They've become a staple in Zamora, and rightly so. They specialize in patatas bravas, aioli, and mixed dishes. If you're passing by, you have to try their patatas bravas—some of the best tapas I've ever had. Everything else is top-notch, like the squid, figones, and tortilla. You'll be absolutely spot on.

Finiquitamos la ruta de esta noche, probando las famosas patatas bravas (en este caso mixtas de bravas y alioli) del Bar Caballero. Precio económico. Pedimos una ración de patatas mixtas y tres bebidas 10'5€. Las salsas muy ricas. Las patatas (como ya estaba echas de hace tiempo) un poco tiesas. Pero compensa con las salsas. Vimos que aparte tenían otro tipos de tapas y demás. Muchas gente dentro, aunque pillamos una mesa alta libre. Otro día probaremos los fogones, que parecen típicos y los pedían mucha gente.

The potatoes were delicious, although I have to say that, on this occasion, the cresses were a bit disappointing. However, don't miss it, because it's a super traditional place and well worth the visit.

Edited on 21-8-2025 caña at 1.50 and tapa at 1.70. If you go to the pinchos area, don't miss this place, tapas, half and varied portions at a good price, all very good, especially the tripe, bravas and squid, caña at 1.10 and tapa at 1.20

The star tapa is the patatas bravas with aioli, or "mixed" as they're called locally. They're really crispy, and the sauces are plentiful. The tongue is incredibly tender and flavorful, practically melting in your mouth. The only thing not worth trying is the squid in its own ink; they only serve you the heads, and they taste like nothing. We couldn't try the figones (a type of small, round sausage) because they were already sold out when we arrived around 10 pm, so if you're really keen, go with plenty of time. If you choose wisely, you won't regret it!

Legendary pintxos bar in the center of Zamora. Very busy and quite difficult to find a table. You almost always have to stand. The tapas and portions of potatoes and calamari are quite good. They also have more unusual items like rooster combs, chicken gizzards, etc. I prefer to go to a restaurant and eat quietly, but for pintxos, it's fine. They're fast and the value is good.

The potatoes weren't bad, but the waitress was rude and grumpy. There are much better places in Zamora with friendlier staff. The receipt says Oscarin served us, but a girl actually served us. I recommend ordering a half portion.

Fuimos por las reseñas y por la curiosidad de las crestas. Estás estaban buenas pero también pedimos una tapa de bravas y calamares. Las bravas zapateras recalentadas y los calamares, que nos dijeron que quedaba solo para media ración incomibles. Nos dejamos la mitad, fríos, sin sabor y totalmente chiclosos. Tiene que ser que tuvimos mala suerte viendo los comentarios de la gente, porque esas cosas hay que ponerlas recién hechas.

It's clear you have little to no competition, which is why people keep coming back; otherwise, you'd lose all your customers. You should be a little nicer to your customers; it seems like you're all suffering from heartburn every day. By the way, don't serve bread that's been pinched and bitten by previous customers.
