ATENCIÓN DULCE, RESPONSABLE y ADEMAS CON UNA SONRISA. GRACIAS!!!!
We were traveling and stopped in the area for lunch. We came across this place and found it quite cozy; we weren't wrong. The service from the waitress was excellent. We found the food delicious. The ratatouille with cod was incredible, and the scrambled eggs with ham were on another level. However, (constructive criticism) they could have made and seasoned the wings themselves, and they would have a much better flavor, comparable to their other dishes. The prices were very competitive. We'll be back to try the sandwiches!
We arrived at the establishment without a reservation, intending to have dinner with six adults last Friday, November 3rd. Thanks to the waitress who served us, she offered us a table suitable for our group, although there was a time limit due to a reservation at 10 p.m. The service was top-notch, and the dinner was just as good. The baby squid and the potato salad were particularly noteworthy. We made the most of the time allotted and decided to return the next day for breakfast. Toast with tomato and churros were served. A very pleasant and relaxed atmosphere. We were grateful for everything. We will definitely return on our next visit to Zaragoza.
Ok
Very good
Really good food and drinks, served by hard-working staff because it's so popular.
Nice and clean place for chilling out. Do not miss that chance.
A charming place I always enjoy returning to. Spectacular tapas and delicious homemade cakes. Fantastic breakfasts and a varied menu. The marble tables, bentwood chairs, and lamps give the place a classic feel that's captivating. I must also highlight the impeccable service of the staff. 100% RECOMMENDED.
Great service, better food and nice atmosphere
It had been a while since I'd been to the place, and I see that everything has remained the same as when I used to go: same quality of product, same service, same waitress. Only one thing surprised me: the fact that they didn't put a sad paper tablecloth on the table, and not even a miserable napkin anything more substantial than the thin, tiny ones in the napkin holder. In that sense, the service has changed, but unfortunately for the worse.
I've only been having coffee with a friend, but honestly, this café has won me over. It's very well maintained; you can tell it's quite old. They even include a little pastry with your coffee. I'll definitely be back!
Great place to go for a quick lunch
Located right in the heart of Zaragoza, this restaurant has managed to maintain its quality at a reasonable price for so many years. We ordered a salad of baby eels and mushrooms, which was fantastic. We also had a portion of calamari with a unique batter. The cuttlefish was also very good, although I found the portion of broken eggs with ham a bit small. The waitresses were friendly. Overall, good value for money.
They need more staff to provide proper service. The table we were at had to endure the constant, annoying hum of the television above it, which the waitress claimed was the (inaudible) music playing in the restaurant. The sandwiches were delicious, and the quality-price ratio was good.
Bar/restaurante agrable
One of the waitresses leaves much to be desired. She has short hair in a ponytail (an "older" lady). If you tell her what you want, she either doesn't answer or answers rudely. Working in front of the public is complicated, but whether you like it or not, you have to have a certain level of manners, and this lady doesn't have them. It takes a long time to serve you and bring you what you order. It doesn't cost anything to be polite. I'm giving it one star because it's worth it.
A group of four of us came for dinner, and the "waitress" at the bar, to put it mildly, was one of the most bitter and unwilling to work I've ever seen. They left our food on the corner of the bar, and she completely ignored it, letting it get cold for at least 10 minutes while she was doing God knows what at the bar. But definitely not productive. Drop what you're doing and take the food to the customers, it's more important, but oh well. I pity the poor people who work with that unpleasant woman who should be in a factory instead of facing the public. And instead of shouting at the customers from the bar what kind of coffee they want, just walk up to her, it doesn't cost anything, she's lazy.
We went in for dinner at 9:47 p.m. The first thing the waiter told us was that we had to hurry. We felt like we were in the way. We finished dinner at 10:15 a.m. We asked if we could have a coffee, but he refused, closing at 11:30 a.m. because he had cleaned the coffee maker. He gave us a rude answer. Terrible service. We will never return. We were just two people, and there was only one other table.
A very bad experience. The terrace is poorly managed; the location is good because it's well situated and gets plenty of sun, but the staff and hygiene conditions are inadequate. They leave much to be desired. Because they don't have enough staff, it takes a long time to clean the tables, so pigeons devour everything right next to you while you try to drink your coffee without being disgusted. They also don't serve you outside, nor do they tell you politely.
I am giving 1 star because I can't rate it with a zero. I don't care if your establishment looks like a palace or if your chef was the king's own! I am not going to frequent a place hostile to the animals, especially so, when doing it in such a public place as a terrace. What you are doing isn't even legal. The Spanish law is clear: animals aren't permitted in places where food is PREPARED, that means kitchen, not the restaurant's eating space and most certainly not the street. Unfortunately, Zaragoza isn't in general a pet friendly place.. I live in Barcelona and things there are very different. I personally have registered 205 restaurants and cafes in the city, allowing animals inside and surely there are more.
