A beautiful farmhouse nestled in the countryside near Zerbolò. Very charming, with a lovely fireplace and a spacious dining area, suitable for larger groups to enjoy. We went on a Saturday night, it was packed with music, but at other times it was definitely quieter and more formal. Excellent food, and the staff were friendly and courteous. The only downside is the limited parking.

An impromptu lunch...let's pack up and head to Mulino Limido. A restaurant in the Pavia countryside, it looks a bit shabby from the outside, with a small parking lot in front. Upon entering, the look changes: rustic, well-maintained, with two very large rooms with exposed beams, some brick walls, others painted white. As we enter, the waiter leads us to a table already set for two and asks us what we'd like to drink. We order water and a half liter of red wine. Shortly after, the owner arrives to take our orders. I didn't like the fact that there was no menu, nor that he didn't tell us any prices, or whether it was a fixed menu or à la carte. He listed three or four first courses and the same number of second courses, also recommending a house appetizer. We order an appetizer of cured meats, Russian salad, onions, and mushrooms in oil. Excellent quality, homemade, and very tasty. For our first course, we choose risotto with saffron and mussels. Risotto was well-cooked, mussels were delicious... they lacked a little salt. For my second course, grilled Argentinian beef... fantastic, tender, excellent. My wife chose fried anchovies. The fish was very fresh, well-fried. We had French fries with our second course. Dessert: homemade tart and chocolate salami. Friendly waiters, a very welcoming and quiet place. Quality products, generous portions. Total lunch for two: €45.00. CONCLUSION: I recommend this place. I gave it 4 out of 5 because it's a bit expensive for lunch and the lack of clarity in pricing, but as far as the food goes, it's really good.

Excellent restaurant serving traditional Lombard cuisine with a focus on seafood. Excellent value for money for authentic, fresh food. Warm welcome, knowledgeable, and very friendly staff. The rating is missing a star only because the tiramisu wasn't homemade, but I'm sure they know how to make it delicious... See you in the winter for some delicious polenta and braised beef 👋
