Bellissimo posto! Abbiamo pranzato in questo ristorante per festeggiare il compleanno di mia nonna e ci siamo trovati benissimo. Il personale è attento e simpatico, nonché disponibile alle richieste. Inoltre nonostante fossimo in ritardo per una serie di eventi, non hanno avuto problemi ad accoglierci. Impiattamenti molto eleganti e porzioni abbondanti (abbiamo fatto portare i nostri personali complimenti allo Chef). Ci ritornerei molto volentieri!

Se cercate un posto dove la qualità del cibo incontra una posizione da sogno, questo ristorante è una garanzia. Ecco perché merita il massimo dei voti: ​Il Paradiso per i Genitori: È la scelta top per chi ha bambini. Trovare un locale che offra un servizio per i piccoli così eccellente non è scontato: l’attenzione verso i più brevi rende il pranzo rilassante anche per mamma e papà. ​Cucina di Alto Livello: Il pesce è il protagonista assoluto. Il polpo era preparato con una cottura perfetta, tenerissimo, e la frittura mista mi ha riportato subito con la mente (e il palato) in riva al mare: croccante, asciutta e saporitissima. ​Servizio e Atmosfera: Il personale è molto attento e premuroso, mai invadente ma sempre presente. Il tutto è completato da una vista spettacolare e una posizione strategica facile da raggiungere ma capace di regalare un panorama unico.

Davvero ottimo! Piatti particolari con ottimi ingredienti di qualità. Pane e pasta fatti in casa rendono ancor più elevato il livello di qualità e attenzione. Personale molto gentile e disponibile. I cani possono entrare senza problemi e viene data anche subito una ciotola con acqua! Grande parcheggio. Vista lago meravigliosa. Assolutamente consigliato!

Siamo andati a cena devo dire ottima esperienza. Locale curato, ben arredato, moderno ma non "freddo". Cibo di assoluta qualità, il fritto è il più buono mai mangiato, il polpo e la carne si scioglievano in bocca. Servizio elevato. Prezzi giusti. E mi complimento perché finalmente ho trovato non solo un bel fasciatoio per bimbi ma addirittura salviette e pannolini. Fantastico.

Per noi è un punto di riferimento quando veniamo al lago, ambiente familiare e accogliente, con un ampio parcheggio e una cucina varia che dà particolare attenzione al territorio. Il personale è sempre disponibile e sorridente una menzione speciale va data a Matilde che si è presa cura di noi egregiamente.

We went up and asked if we could stay with our small dog, and they immediately said yes — no problem at all. Such a lovely, clean, and truly pet-friendly restaurant! The service was amazing — they brought a bowl of water for Buddy even before our drinks arrived. I had the Filo Rosso pizza and a Pina Colada, while my husband had the Cuore pizza — everything was absolutely delicious. The pizza came super fast, and it was one of the best I’ve ever had. The tiramisu was also very good — my first real Italian tiramisu! It was a perfect dinner and such a nice experience. Italy really left me with a wonderful impression — people here truly treat pets as part of the family. ❤️

Ristorante Babà du Lac is truly a hidden gem by the lake. The cuisine, attentive service, and carefully curated wine selection were all exceptional. We enjoyed it so much that we returned for dinner two nights in a row. A wonderful dining experience that won’t disappoint.

We ate here on the last night of our time away, which is a shame because it turned out to be the best restaurant of the holiday. We enjoyed the atmosphere, wine, wonderful food and kindness of the staff. We had been venturing into nearby Lecco for food during our stay on Lake Como and Baba du Lac was within walking distance of our accommodation, so it is such a shame to have only found it on our last evening. We would have definitely come again to try more of the dishes on the menu. We had mixed local meats to start, a risotto and pizza to share for mains and plenty of wine. Thank you for a lovely evening. The view of the lake from this restaurant is astounding and everyone should see it. The restaurant is up two flights of stairs (they have a lift) so make sure you bear this in mind as we couldn’t figure out how to get up to the restaurant upon arrival! But it’s easy once you follow the signs. Very reasonably priced for the great food and service.

OMG - the food is amazing. The Filetto alla Rossini is absolutely must try. The pizza burger is super delicious. All dishes were yummy. Service is superb and very accommodating despite we had no reservation. Definitely will come again

Of the dozens of restaurants we’ve been to around Como, Milan, and Venice, I can safely say this is my favorite restaurant. The food is brilliant, the service is wonderful, and has a breathtaking view. The shrimp tartare is a must try.

It's not usual cosy Italian restaurant or trattoria. Everything is a bit bigger. Beside from that it's a nice place with a beautiful view on the lake. The food is good (the big choice of different plates made me a bit sceptical in the beginning) and the people working there are super nice. We went there again: at the phone they told us it wasn't possible to sit outside so we took a table inside. When we arrived at the restaurant they had a surprise for us and they had a table outside with view on the lake. Again everybody was super nice and even the dogs got a bowl with water. ☺️

Il locale si trova al secondo piano di uno stabile, affaccia sul parcheggio vicino al lago, il lago si vede😬Arredato in modo molto easy, con le tovagliette al tavolo al posto della tovaglia, che forse non si usa più🤷🏻‍♀️il personale molto gentile e disponibile. Abbiamo mangiato bene, c’era poca gente quindi sono stati abbastanza rapidi. Carino il fatto che si vede il lago, ideale anche per un aperitivo, consiglio👍I costi nella media circa 40€ a persona

Pranzo domenicale tra amici, location con terrazza vista lago. Possibilità di parcheggiare nel parcheggio interno contattando il ristorante che apre un cancello carraio blu. Il parcheggio è pressoché impossibile nei dintorni perché il ristorando è vicino ad un lido. Il ristorante si raggiunge con un ascensore salendo al secondo piano. Proposta di menu varia, sia carne che pesce con cibo di buona qualità, nulla di particolare ma comunque buono. Dolci un po’ deludenti, nulla di particolare. Ci siamo accomodati nella terrazza vista lago, anche l’interno era molto carino. Servizio sufficiente, prezzo medio alto.

Ambiente tranquillo e una bella atmosfera. Camerieri cordiali e disponibili. In merito alla cucina pizza buona così come i primi (provati gli scialatielli ai frutti di mare, la cacio e pepe e il risotto ai funghi) Consigliata la prenotazione, disponibile un buon numero di posti auto

Cena con parenti, in 4 più il nostro piccolo amico peloso, ringraziamo per questo. Si sale al secondo piano con ascensore e si entra in un ambiente veramente accogliente, quando poi si arriva al tavolo si apprezza la vista sul lago che, per chi come noi abituati, fa comunque piacere. La veranda esterna era occupata ma il nostro tavolo era vicino ai finestroni aperti che facevano entrare un'arietta gradevole. Personale giovane, quindi gentile e cordiale. Si mangia bene dalla pizza/pinsa ai primi, secondi nonché i dolci, quindi nell'insieme sicuramente merita di tornarci.

Asparagus soup was very good. I think beef tartar could be a bit better. Last one i had was in Rome and it was pretty good. Also the desert had some orange taste i am not a big fan. Place is nice its at the top floor i think it would have a great view day time but no view at night. Service was nice and friendly.

I had 2 consecutive dinner at this lovely restaurant since it is located right next to our hotel. Although we had our meals during weekdays, it was quite busy. However the staffs are very supportive, nice and served us with a positive attitude. We had the chance to try different dishes from appetizers to main courses. The pizzas and the cold cut are beautifully made. The only 2 dishes that are quite disappointing are the caesar salad and the pork fillet. The portion of the pork is too small and the taste is bland. I would not recommend to try this dish. Overall, it’s a nice spot if you stay far from the main villages.

Sorry, but honestly my experience here dampened my mood. Not many tables have views, or at least I wasn’t cared for in that department. The table bread was terrible - why even put it on the table. The service was slow, and especially slow when it came to paying. Portions were small for the price and the entree (local fish or three fish or something) was not good at all - the plating was weird, it was physically hard to eat (fingers or knife and fork) and the flavours on the plate didn’t make sense to me. The wine glasses were far from polished. Flavours in the pasta were fine but it was really really on the al dente side.

Sono stato in pizzeria ieri sera. Dopo una attesa di circa 10 minuti con locale quasi vuoto arriva la camera. Ho chiesto la possibilità di avere un piatto di pasta con le verdure fuori menù visto che sono vegetariano ed erano presenti praticamente tutti piatti con carne o pesce ma la cameriera mi ha risposto in modo secco che non si poteva fare nulla al di fuori del menu, ho quindi ordinato una pizza alla bufala pagando ben 14 euro per un prodotto minuscolo (più piccola dei classici 33 cm di diametro, forse era una 28 cm scarsi ). Infatti nel piatto da pizza classico da 33 cm, mancavano vari cm dai bordi. In più un impasto chiaramente non lievitato a sufficienza: pizza gommosa e insipida lontano anni luce da una vera pizza artigianale. La mozzarella di bufala era di qualità pessima – secca, dura e priva di sapore, niente a che vedere con una bufala vera e succosa. Peggio ancora, l’aspetto uniforme e la cottura finta (nessuna macchia di leopardo e cornicione gonfio) mi hanno fatto sospettare fortemente di una pizza surgelata, riscaldata. Quando ho fatto notare il problema, la risposta dellla cameriere sorridente è stata surreale: “Ai nostri clienti piace così!”. A quel punto non ho più aperto bocca…

Unfortunately our dietary preferences were not honoured. Reading good reviews, We went here for dining. We ordered gnocchi, gialla margarita pizza and ravioli (mushroom) in the meal. Being vegetarian, We ordered vegetarian options from the menu and strictly specified to the waitress that we do not want meat or fish in any dish to be extra careful. The ravioli served to us had red meat, completely unaware, my mom (who was vegetarian all her life) already ate two bites before realising it had meat. We complaint to the waitress and she apologised. However our dinner mood was completely spoiled and we couldn’t finish everything happily. The restaurent charged us the full amount except for ravioli. Since my mom wasn’t feeling quite well after eating the food, I went back to the restaurent and spoke to the restaurant owner and explained him the issue. The restaurant owner realised the mistake in the communication between the waitress and the chef. He sincerely apologies and retuned the full amount. I really hope such mistakes are not repeated in the future and restaurant staff has learnt the lesson. While I understand this can happen but at the first instance the restaurant staff wasn’t trained to understand the seriousness of this issue. For future visitors, I just want to you inform that pls be aware and double check if there is something in the food that you don’t eat! I have attached the pictures taken. Ps- gnocchi’s taste was good and the pizza taste was average.
