Acatlán de Juárez is gradually offering more dining options for those escaping the city's chaos. Here at Cabaña Desayunos, they have a varied menu. The prices are reasonable for the area. I loved the café de olla (Mexican-style coffee), which they serve with cookies. My only complaint is that the scrambled eggs with bacon come with refried beans, which are delicious, but the salad is just red onion and a slice of avocado. Personally, I'd prefer lettuce and tomato. Interestingly, they add a slice of grilled panela cheese. It's worth coming to explore and enjoy the place. And while you're there, you can visit historical sites like the Battle of La Coronilla of 1866, which isn't far from here.

The place, although small, is cozy and beautifully decorated. As for the food, it's reasonably priced and well-seasoned. Perhaps they could improve if they implemented a better strategy for serving arriving customers, as it took a while from the time we arrived to the time we were greeted at the entrance, and it took 30 minutes for my family and I to be served.
