Delicious classic Peruvian dishes like Lomo Saltado, Ají de Gallina, and for dessert, A su Mare Pisco (a different flavor but delicious and not too sweet). The cappuccino was made with good coffee. And to top it all off, excellent service.

We on the way to another place, but passed in front of Taypa and decided to stop for lunch. Best decision! We really enjoyed the food and the staff was very nice and attentive. Portions were def bigger than expected, so we ordered more than we should have but loved everything! We particularly loved the ceviche and their bread was delicious!

A pleasant restaurant for those looking for a cozy and well-decorated atmosphere. Its terrace is a pleasant space to enjoy food al fresco, and the aquarium adds a special touch to the experience. The service is one of its strong points; the staff is always attentive and friendly, ensuring that diners have a pleasant experience. As for the food, the presentation is thoughtful and attractive, although the seasoning could be improved a bit to make the dishes even more memorable. Small and intimate true Peruvian experience. Not one dish, but theychave a mix of the most traditional Peruvian flavors, from classic ceviche to anticucjos to chauffeur. All in one place in the heart of polanco. If you're ordering drinks you may be better off with beer or a pisco sour, their wine list is small and on the pricey side.

Everything we ordered was very good. The servers are friendly and attentive. The atmosphere is pleasant, and the prices are reasonable for Polanco. One point that could be improved is that it took a while to bring our food, but nothing excessive. Be careful with the pisco cocktail because it's delicious, but just one makes you feel dizzy 😅. Highly recommended.

Stopped by on a whim and was so glad I did! Super friendly staff, fun outdoor seating, and great food. If ceviche's your thing, you should definitely visit. Big portions, so come hungry! And watch out for the dangerously red salsa that comes with the complementary plantains+ sweet potato chips. You have been warned.

I loved it!! I hadn't eaten Peruvian food before, and it's top-notch here. The pisco sours are delicious, and they have different flavor combinations. The dishes are very good and very fresh. The ingredients are high quality. The atmosphere is very pleasant for a relaxed meal accompanied by good DJ music. You'll have a great time here.

Excellent place. All the food was exquisite. Every detail is meticulously attended to, from the natural water with a hint of citrus to the little cookie that accompanies your cappuccino for dessert. They greet you with delicious fried plantains and sweet potatoes. Then we ordered crispy calamari to share, and it was spectacular. I ordered the Taypa Ceviche... What a delight! Fish, scallops, and octopus cooked to perfection. The desserts are also exquisite, combining texture and flavor in an incredible way. I highly recommend the red fruit Pavlova. The service and attention were also excellent.

My expectations were not as high as they should be, given the very tempting photos Taypá shares on social media, I must say the dishes they make are even better than they look. The service was spectacular, with recommendations for each course based on our cravings. I tried the tiger's milk ceviche for a starter, the fat octopus for a main course, and picarones for dessert. Everything was excellent and in good portions. I must return to try the clams or the macha fish, which the people next to me ordered and also looked extremely tempting.

La comida esta buenísima, me encanta el sazón del(@) chef, lo que si no me gusto fue el como el mesero joven tardo en tomar mi orden,pero al llegar otras personas ahí si los atendio luego luego, y a la hora de cobrar muy grosera la señora, me aventó mi cambio.

Siempre me gusta ir a comer a este lugar, ya que la comida esta muy bien sazonada, riquísima y me encanta que está a un buen precio, pero no puedo decir lo mismo del hambiente, ya que la señora grande es demaciado grosera y al cobrarte a veces según ella no se da cuenta y cuando te da tu cambio te falta hasta $50 pesos, el o la dueña si debería de checar eso.

La comida esta deliciosa y los precios son coherentes 👍 aunque el menu no es muy variado pues casi siempre es el mismo me gusta comer ahí, lo único que de plano no me agrada es que te apresuran para ordenar cuando todavía no terminas el primer platillo ya te estan pidiendo que ordenes el segundo y el tercer platillo 😲

El lugar es bueno para comer en la zona, el servicio por parte del mesero es excelente, la calidad de los alimentos es muy buena, no dudo en recomendar ampliamente el lugar para comer solo o acompañado, sin embargo, la señora mayor que atiende, deja mucho que desear.

Solid peruvian for Polanco… happy because it’s the only one in this area! I Tried the tiradito de salmon (a little too citrus-y which overpowers the fish), the causa de jaiba which was good and the best is the risotto with seafoods! Very creamy and delicious!

El lugar vende comida corrida, pero a veces es un poco lento. Hay 2 meseros y en las horas qiue salen a comer de las oficinas no hay lugar

Les recomiendo todo menos la arrachera con papas

The food is tasty and plentiful, the mezcal shots are good, the atmosphere is just okay, it's not a memorable place. We were annoyed that the waiter kept pressuring us to order more, and at the end he asked if we were going to leave a larger tip. I wouldn't go back; it's not a charming place.

La comida es buena y la atención del mesero también. La mala actitud es de la señora grande que pasa al cobrar, apenas te llevan el postre y ya te están cobrando, ni si quiera llega a preguntar si ya quieres que te cobre, simplemente llega y te comienza a cobrar. Y si la mesa es grande, no hace el esfuerzo de pasar a tu lugar, quiere que te estires para pagarle.

NO RECOMIENDO!! ¡La comida peca de salada!, además de fría. Si no comes tanta sal, ni se te ocurra ir ahí a comer y si comes mucha sal, tampoco vayas. Hasta la milanesa está salada. NO REGRESO, NUNCA.

Horrible lugar atienden como quieren aunque llegue antes que otra persona prefirió atender a los trajeados, si al final de cuentas yo iba a consumir y pagar no pedir se gratis pero en fin pésimo servicio ojalá y los dueños presten atención al personal que tienen el joven que no quiso atenderme era de una edad promedio 30 años color de cabello castaño obscuro

The ceviche is good, but for the price, everything should be spectacular. It's not the best Peruvian restaurant in the city; it falls far short; it's not even the best in Polanco. The dishes are also not authentic.
