Things have changed the past few years not sure if management/owners changed but La Michoacana ice cream in general is better ice cream than most places. However, not sure what happened but it's not quite as good as how it was before. Still 4 stars, which is not bad by any means.

Great selection! Service is a bit slow due to so many customers. Overall, I would return.

This place is just ok. I tried the Lime water with Chia and I was disappointed with it. The water wasn’t natural. The water tastes like lime flavored kool aid and it also looks artificial. Also, the chips that they have are also extremely greasy that you can taste the grease. I’m giving this place this rating since I’ve had other items like the corn on the cob and the green juice with all the fruits and vegetables.

I just ordered a yogurt with strawberries and papas fritas. By uber in the Michoacana And they just send me different items for my order. I called to the Michoacana and the person just said that they don’t have the items that I requested. So they decided to send me whatever they want. The person didn’t care she was so rude. She said that they always sent whatever they have instead they lose the order. This is not ok She said they were busy. So because they are busy and they don’t want lo lose money they going to send different items. I paid for what I ordered and now I need to throw everything in the garbage. Hope the owner or the manager can do something.

Everything here is good except they're employees don't honor their posted hours of business!! It says 10pm not 9pm 👎🏼 Update: After calling to ask about their hours of business which they confirmed 10 but being that they never took a lunch they decided to close early. Well hell I'm gonna have to try that out at work and see if it flies by the way peeps the owners name is Marco out of California let's see what he says when I give him a jingle 👎🏼

Horrible 4 elotes no mayo at all. When called they ignore the phone and hang up

HORRIBLE customer service! We walked in and all the girls looked annoyed and bothered. No one acknowledged us until I waved my hand. It was only my husband and I ONLY in there. They refused to make our food because it was almost time for them to close. It’s was a milkshake, it doesn’t take much to make one. Pure LAZINESS in there! Manager said that no one greeted us because they take turns with customers? Not sure what that even means!

Obviously I only received 2 items out of 3, he said they were busy and made it clear the order was complete. Let's just say the staff can't count and I'm sure they don't care about customer satisfaction.

Store close at 10pm. We get there about 9:10 pm. Moment the know we were gonna seats there they start closing seating area. Customers are still coming, and they surprise the employee closing the seatting area. We talked to Manger but did not get a response. We took our business to "Oberweis ice cream"🍦. They were absolutely great. The manager treats our kids with balloons and small IceCreams treat in-house. They closed at 11 pm but Manger said you guys can enjoy it. we are here another hour for cleaning. But respect there time and left 10:50pm. I hope LA Michoacana management looking to this matter.

They close the doors always 1 hour early. Need to update the hours. I’ve taken my family twice and both times they rejected to serve us. It’s currently 9:10PM and both google and their door show that they close at 10PM.

Came in right when they opened. Two employees (male and female) were in the front and didn't speak, they looked at me and flat out ignored me after I said hello. I was getting ready to walk out after standing at the counter for a moment, not being helped by those two employees, but someone in the back came out and greeted me & took my order. She was polite and was the ONLY reason why I spent a dime in this place. I won't be back, I won't spend money where I feel I'm not welcomed. It's a shame in 2023 racism and prejudice is still prevalent, quite ridiculous when said prejudice is coming from another minority in this country smh. I'm sure if I was Hispanic those employees wouldve spoke to me and I would've had a more welcoming interaction.

Me and my family used to love it, but a couple weeks ago we noticed the corn is not fresh, we saw one of the workers using a frozen bag of corn. Also they don’t let you use the bathroom. How a Michoacana with a lot of profit don’t have a bathroom for customers? For sure, there are better Michoacanas, you can taste the natural and rich flavor the one on Villa Park!
