I discovered this gem of a wine house during the bustling Western Days festival, and the atmosphere was simply unbeatable! Despite the busy crowd, Gabriel delivered exceptional service, guiding us through perfect wine pairings without ever making us feel rushed. The entire dining experience left me in awe, and I can’t wait to return for another fantastic glass of wine. Highly recommend! 🍷✨🍂

Wonderful little place. My bridesmaids and I went here to celebrate after saying yes to the dress. Our waitress was very knowledgeable and eager to help us all find a wine that we would enjoy and suit our tastes. 2 of us had a wine flight, and the other 2 had a few samples before landing on the wine they liked. The fries were delicious. We had some for the table to share. I had a filet - amazing. Salmon was delicious. Everyone seemed to love their dish. The greenbeans that came with my dish were smokey and fantastic. The perfect pair to my filet.

Wonderful place! We didn't even know that this old town area existed and were so happy to find a wine bar in it. I love how they are open during lunch hours. Cozy and inviting atmosphere. Staff was informative and friendly. Awesome cheeseboards! We definitely did not feel ripped off. Lots of great menu items, I can't wait to return and try more things. Lots of stuff made in house. Be warned! The spicy cheddar is super spicy!!

I can’t say in words how good was my experience overall. First Brandan greeted us at the door immediately when we arrived. He asked where we wanted to be seated and cleaned a table for us. He knows the menu and he gave me an excellent recommendation for a smooth red that Im planning to get for me personally. From the cheese board, the bread and oil and the main entree, everything was outstanding. Was a Friday night and we were able to find parking nearby. The old town gives you a good vibe that invites you to walk around the other shops. We would definitely be back. Kudos to the team!!

Cute place in downtown Lewisville. Service was good, the waited listened to what I liked and made suggestions based off of that. I tried their wine flight and I really enjoyed the moscato and another sweet red wine from Portugal (I can’t remember the name). I wasn’t hungry so opted for a charcuterie board and it did not disappoint. I’ll definitely come back if I find myself in the area again.

First restaurant that I’ve been to since lockdown and it was great. The staff was friendly and so helpful. Food was fantastic and the wine list was great. Loved the atmosphere and design of the restaurant. A must - all the wine quotes in the bathroom. My favorite: “When wine goes in, wisdom comes out”

Phenomenal spot! Great food, great staff, really really good selection of wine! No pretentiousness going on here. They listen to what you like in wine and make great selections for you to try before selecting your glass or bottle. Their New York strip is pricey but worth every penny, their salmon is cooked and seasoned perfectly and their burgers are classics. The cheese board and flatbreads are perfect if you just want to snack. I wish they stayed open later than 10 but I’m just happy to have a great wine spot nearby.

This is amazing place that if you didn't know you might walk by. But don't it's amazing. The wine was great, the food was amazing and it reminding me of the hole in the wall I found in Paris. Definitely a place to visit and stay awhile.

This charming establishment, which my sister first introduced me to, has quickly become one of my favorite spots. The food is good, the service is very friendly and the wine selection is great! Having visited twice now, I can confidently say that Old Town Wine House delivers a wonderful dining experience. I'm already looking forward to my next visit to Texas, Old Town Wine House will definitely be one of my stops.

Update March 2026 - I recently returned to Old Town Wine House with my sister on a Wednesday (half-price bottle night). We arrived just after opening and enjoyed a quiet start, but the atmosphere immediately soured when they set up a large group of Mahjong players next to us. It became so disruptive that we moved to the rear of the restaurant—a much less desirable spot, but necessary to hear each other talk. It got worse from there: the service was non-existent as they focused on the boisterous group, and our dinner took over an hour to arrive, only to be served completely cold. Total disappointment compared to previous experiences. I suggest calling ahead to ask if a large group is booked.

When we arrived we told the waitress I have a gluten allergy amongst others. We immediately bonded over our allergies and my friends were making fun of me saying I can’t go anywhere. We asked about gluten free options and she was happy to tell us she could do half gluten free crackers on the board and half regular bread. These are the crackers I received, after I had already ate 2 about 10 minutes later she ran out saying those weren’t the gluten free crackers. She apologized and said the chef was new and didn’t realize. This is no excuse after I talked about how bad my allergy is and I was throwing up in their restroom 15 minutes later. She was not new and knew what the crackers looked like, and why would no body triple check when it’s an allergy?! I was sick for days and the only thing that was accommodated was they took off my glass of wine. No manager came over to apologize. I will not be returning back.
