Déjà plus de 20 ans, que nous côtoyons cet établissement, Toujours aussi excellent, meilleur, bouillabaisse de Saint-Tropez, de Ramatuelle Le Service, très attentionné et très gentil. Nous remercions Bernard pour sa gentillesse et toute son équipe. Je vous le conseille très fortement. C’est un restaurant qui devrait avoir des étoiles au guide Michelin. Un expérience magique pour cette première fois chez Camille. Accueil, service impeccable. La bouillabaisse est excellente et généreuse - nous avons adoré le cérémonial de la présentation des poissons. Bref, aucune fausse note. Manque peut-être le plaisir de pouvoir emporter le reste dans un doggy-bag…. Nous n’avons pas osé demander 😜. Merci pour cet excellent moment.

Ein wirklich wunderbarer Ort, mit wirklich wunderbaren Speisen. Nicht günstig, aber das ist es wirklich wert! Der Service ist zuvorkommend und erfrischend jung, die Qualität der Speisen ist sehr hoch, die Zubereitung ist selbst bei klassischen Fleisch- und Fischgerichten vom Grill liebevoll. It’s very difficult to find true foodie gems in Saint-Tropez. But there are a few well kept secrets and exceptions. Chez Camille is one of them. The star of the show here is the bouillabaisse, a carefully crafted fish recipe that takes patience and craftsmanship to cook and bring all the flavours to your palate. It’s so easy to have a bad one and so hard to find the real one, well this is it. Highly recommend to take the royal one with lobster. It is very important for the fish soup to be hot and the staff is on the spot to bring hot new batch from the wood fire - my advice, don’t touch the potatoes and focus on the freshly caught fish and lobsters. As if this perfection wasn’t enough, the setting is also majestic. The restaurant is well hidden in a beautiful cove where the sun set as you enjoy your meal. Service was also impeccable and warm, a rare thing in south of France. So there, a truly mesmerising experience.

Spécialisé dans la bouillabaisse au feu de bois, ce restaurant vaut le détour! Gustativement elle est parfaite! Le service est très aimable, attentionné sans être pesant. La vue est superbe et les connexions réseau y sont très faible voir inexistante, un plus qui permet de ne pas être dérangé par des gens qui téléphonent et de profiter pleinement de ses plats. Don’t usually review but I have been coming to St Tropez and the surroundings for over 15 years - always in August (the most busiest) and this restaurant is exceptional. It’s been taking over by a new management and it shows. The food, the service, the interior… and the view… what more do you want? and it’s own private-like beach. You might not get sunlounges here after lunch but you do come away feeling like you had a really good lunch. Highly recommend their fish soup and the lobster linguine 👍🏻 definitely coming back !

Wir waren bis jetzt zweimal hier und können das Restaurant uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen. Insbesondere die Bouillabaisse (reichhaltig mit viel frischem Fisch) sollte jeder mal probiert haben. Preislich gehoben aber verständlich bei dem Aufwand. Es gibt auch andere empfehlenswerte Gerichte, sowie eine umfangreiche Wein-Karte in verschiedenen Kategorien. Geschmacklich wirklich einmalig und mit Produkten aus der Region. Die Location ist wunderschön und in einer 1 a Lage (Reservierung notwendig). Nicht umsonst einer der Hot-Spots in der Region und auch Überregional!

Toller historischer Ort, als wenn die Bouillabaisse hier erfunden wurde, eine Fischsuppe mit ganzen Fischen, Krustentier etc, war ursprünglich wohl ein einfaches "Resteessen" von Fischern. Spezieller Beitrag zur Historie dieses Restaurants auf "mare TV", zu empfehlen. Preislich sehr gehoben.

Wir haben mit der ganzen Familie einen sehr schönen Abend im Chez Camille verbracht. Sehr tolles Ambiente und guter Service! Die Bouillabaisse hat uns allen sehr geschmeckt - aufgrund der großen Portion konnten wir aber leider nicht alles essen. Es wäre allerdings schön, wenn es ein vegetarisches Hauptgericht geben würde. Der Quinoasalat war wohl nicht ganz so gut und nicht besonders viel. Aber man kommt ja schließlich wegen der Bouillabaisse ins Chez Camille, daher keine Kritik sondern nur eine Anmerkung👍🏻

No he probado muchas bouillabaisse auténticas pero sin duda será difícil que superen a esta. Lugar con mucho en canto en la costa azul a 20 minutos de Saint Tropez. Decoración contemporánea con toques marinos. Un restaurante en toda regla con estilo playero que lo hacen muy agradable. Servicio muy atento. Salón ubicado sobre una cala con grandes ventanales que permiten disfrutar del mar mientras comes. Carta con productos del mar y buena carta de vinos locales y nacionales. La clave del sitio y su plato estrella es la bouillabaisse, hecha en fuego de leña. Hecho en el momento, tienen un fondo muy potente preparado al que añaden los pescados de la receta tradicional y lo ponen en la lumbre. Una vez que lo presentan, limpian el pescado (perfectamente) y lo sirven con sus patatas, pan, Ali-oli y queso rallado y lo más importante el caldo. El pescado perfecto que cocción. Cada uno en su punto perfecto, ni crudo, ni pasado, algo excepcional ya que eran pescados con texturas muy diferentes y es difícil que todos estén perfectos. El caldo para resucitar un muerto y en cantidad más que suficiente, puedes repetir todo lo que quieras. Pedimos un rosado local para acompañar que maridaba muy bien. Sin duda algo casi insuperable.

Wir waren durch eine Fernsehsendung auf das Restaurant aufmerksam geworden und haben es jetzt im Januar besucht. Und- es ist auf jeden Fall einen Besuch wert. Der Service war nett und aufmerksam, das Essen extrem gut und die Aussicht auf das Meer einfach grandios. Wir werden sicher wiederkommen.

Depuis que nous voulions manger une bouillabaisse , nous avons opté pour cet établissement de renom et ce fut une belle découverte . Situé dans un cadre magnifique avec vue sur la plage et le cap Camarat , l'établissement en lui-même est magnifique avec une salle spacieuse au décor superbe et une belle luminosité qui vous enchante tout de suite . L'accueil tout d'abord a été très souriant tout comme le service à la fois efficace et chaleureux . Je confirme d'après certains commentaires lus ici et là que le service de voiturier me semble vraiment superflus par rapport à ce que nous avons constaté en terme de possibilités de parking ce jour-là . Question plat , nous n'avons pas été déçu puisque la bouillabaisse nous a régalé dans des proportions très copieuses ( même si ça dépend des appétits ) ou l'on vous ressert une seconde soupière de soupe afin de toujours déguster croutons , pommes de terre et poissons avec un liquide bien chaud . Du coup nous n'avons pas regretté de ne pas avoir pris la royale avec la langouste en plus , nous aurions largement calé !! Malgré des estomacs bien remplis , nous n'avons pas pu résister au joli plateau de présentation de desserts . La pavlova là encore plutôt généreuse était excellente , mon épouse ayant préféré une coupe de glace plus adaptée à la petite place restante après ce festin !! Belle expérience donc à tous les points que nous réitérerons pour gouter d'autres plats avec grand plaisir .

Un merveilleux dîner au restaurant Chez Camille à Ramatuelle pour célébrer notre “moinniversaire” de mariage. Le cadre au bord de l’eau est absolument magique, idéal pour profiter d’un moment à deux. Nous avons choisi le menu avec la célèbre bouillabaisse, généreuse et savoureuse, préparée dans la plus pure tradition. En dessert, une mousse au chocolat exquise et une tarte tropézienne typique, parfaites pour finir sur une note gourmande. Un vrai régal du début à la fin, tant pour la qualité des plats que pour l’ambiance unique. Nous avons particulièrement apprécié l’écoute lors de notre réservation ainsi que le service attentionné et soigné du personnel. Une adresse incontournable !

Absolutely amazing experience at Chez Camille in St. Tropez! As someone with celiac disease and very high gluten sensitivity, I’m always cautious when eating out. The staff here were so knowledgeable and careful, and the food was incredible. I presented a “french gluten card” I pulled offline, I didn’t do an appetizer and just got the lobster GF pasta & a chocolate mousse. This was the best lobster pasta I have ever had in my lifetime. I didn’t get sick, which is such a relief when traveling. Perfect spot for gluten-free dining in St. Tropez. Highly recommend.

Chez Camille serves the best Bouillabaisse in the st. Tropez, ramatuelle area. The restaurant, located on a secluded bit of beach (end of pamplone) is extremely pleasant with an open air area, and the service is usually excellent. Get organized, get a reservation, and enjoy some of the best seafood to be had anywhere. Do be prepared. It is expensive. But we continue to return every year - at least once - and each visit is a memorable one for good reasons.

Charming dinner spot, lovely atmosphere and service. Chez Camille is a dreamy little spot — the location is beautiful, and the staff were incredibly kind and attentive throughout the evening. The prices for dinner were fair, and overall, the food was well-prepared and flavorful. That said, we did feel the menu leaned a bit heavily on butter and onion — both delicious, but by the end of the meal it felt a little too rich for our taste. We also loved the vibe so much that we wanted to buy one of their t-shirts — until we saw it was priced at €75, which felt excessive (more than we spent on dinner!). A more accessible price — around €45 — would still be premium and much more reasonable. All in all, a beautiful experience that we’d happily recommend, especially for the setting and service.

Nothing compares to Chez Camille. You can’t beat the service, the environment, and certainly not the food. This meal is a privilege to get to enjoy - the bouillabaisse is historic. My family has been coming here for decades. We were able to enjoy it under the original ownership of the founding family, and the new ownership has done a great job keeping the quality. The decor is tasteful and comfortable, and they worked well with us while we had a toddler in tow. This is a slow meal, so come hungry and plan on taking your time to enjoy your meal and some dessert and coffee to finish.

Elegance on the beach. This is the kind of staff that you only find at fine restaurants. Intuitive, efficient and fluid. The decor is breezy beach chic. The kitchen is excellent and perhaps just a bit too generous with their portions. We loved it.

La bouillabaisse au feu de bois est excellente dans un cadre bucolique face à la mer. Je recommande. Petit bémol, voiturier à 10euros imposé, service que nous pouvons largement se passer.

Une très bonne bouillabaisse avec vue sur la plage et la crique. Service parfait et avenant. Il est préférable de réserver et de commander la bouillabaisse à l’avance. Un vrai bon moment de gourmand.

Le lieu est très beau en bord de plage. Seul bémol: Attention juste endroit luxueux, ce n’est donc pas accessible à tous, dommage …

Restaurant haute gamme et très symphatique. Une vue imprenable sur la mer de chaque table . On revient.

Leider hatten wir ein sehr durchwachsenes Erlebnis. Die Weinkarte ist veraltet und die wenigen leichteren Weine ausverkauft ohne es in der Karte anzuzeigen. Fliegen überall am Essen und auch im Restaurant. Fühlte sich eher wie im Kuhstall an als in einem Restaurant und vermittelt größer hygienische Probleme. Die Pasta war so überkocht das sie am Tisch fast den Aggregatzustand zu flüssig verändern wollte. Das Restaurant lebt vom Namen und das es eines der wenigen ist das offen hat:):):) Eigentlich unglaublich!

Die Bouillabaisse war sehr gut. Hatten das Menü mit Wein. War für 2 fast zu viel. Aber sehr schön und ein guter Tipp von Tim Melzer.

Chez Camille has an excellent location with beautiful views. The bouillabaisse soup was delicious and served in very generous portions. I also tried the pasta with clams, which was plentiful, though I would have preferred it with a touch of lemon and a lighter finish rather than the rich tomato sauce. The waiters were attentive and friendly, though the porter could have been more welcoming as the initial reception felt a little dismissive. Bread and toast were not as fresh as expected, but overall it was still a memorable dining experience.

Very good lunch and dining experience overall. The food was delicious, and the drinks were excellent. The ambiance is perfect—right by the sea, with a stunning view and the option to swim after your meal, which adds a lovely touch. Service, however, was a bit inconsistent. While some staff were attentive and tried their best, others seemed to ignore us—possibly due to a language barrier. Still, a great spot for a relaxing seaside lunch.

Nice spot, definitely overpriced for bouillabaisse, however other dishes are good. Fish soup is perfect ! Great portion and nice serving. Service ok, bit slow, but ok. Over pleasant given the place and price range implemented))

We know Chez Camille for a long time now, quote difficult to find. You should order the Bouillabaisse. It is delicious!!! It has become quite expensive though. It is 75€ for the dish, it used to include dessert, but now it is an extra 14€ for a dessert. The restaurant has an amazing view and the beach. It is very nice.

Bouillabaisse bonne mais pas exceptionnelle. Cadre très sympathique par contre le service excecrable. Peu de considération pour sa clientèle (sauf la régulière ou si vous venez en bâteau ...). Seul le chiffre compte (le serveur à peine aimable car nous n'avons pas pris de bouteille de vin), le bien être de la clientèle passe en second. Trop cher pour l'ensemble surtout pour un restaurant qui se donne un standing. Nous n'y reviendrons pas et nous ne recommandons pas

It was not our first time at CHEZ CAMILLE on this October 3rd 2025. As usual we left our car at the Service Voiturier and had a very pleasant dinner. The service at the table was excellent and so was the food. Unfortunately we cannot say the same for the Service Voiturier. I prepared 5.- Euro as a tip for the guy who brought us the car. When I handed it over to him he looked at me as if in disbelief and said in a condescending manner “Oh no Madame, the Service is 10.- Euro.” I answered that he may keep the 5.- Euro as a tip and gave him the 10.- Euro for the Service as he demanded. But believe me, I never felt so ashamed and humiliated. I never paid a fee before for the Service Voiturier at CHEZ CAMILLE. I’m not sure, if their Service Voiturier is actually really to be paid and if the guy was right, but in that case, he could have asked politely and not in the manner he did. Believe me, the wonderful evening was broken in that very second.

We recently visited Chez Camille based on a recommendation for their Bouillabaisse soup, which is my husband's favorite. The atmosphere at the restaurant was fantastic, the service was top-notch, and the location was beautiful. Our entree was delicious, but unfortunately, the Bouillabaisse soup fell short of our expectations. While the presentation was excellent, we found the soup to be bland and lacking in seasoning, making it difficult to finish. Considering the price, we were a bit disappointed. Overall, our experience at Chez Camille was okay. Perhaps read some reviews before you make your decision to dine there. If for some reason I dined there again, I would not order the bouillabaisse.

This venue is more pretentious than refined. The atmosphere is pompous, the menu ordinary and uninspired, and the prices disproportionately high. Service is disappointing: the waiter broke a glass while clearing the table, failed to replace the tablecloth, and did not even offer an apology or a courtesy drink. After 10 p.m., the clientele becomes rather unrefined, which further diminishes the experience. If you are looking for something chic, this is certainly not the place — at least during the summer season.

Sehr illustre Gesellschaft, und total überteuerte Preise. Qualität aber okay. Halt Franzosenfraß. ich weiß nicht, was viele Leute an dem Essen so toll finden.

Eine gute Bouillabaisse ist eine Kunst für sich. Ausserdem gibt es wohl mindestens genau so viele Variationen dazu, wie es Meinungen gibt. Meine Meinung zur Bouillabaisse chez Camille: currylastig, die Fische wurden offenbar separat gekocht von der Sauce. Muss man mögen. Auch den Preis von 75 Euro pro Person für die Standardversion muss man mögen. Wählt man die Version "royale" ist eine Languste zusätzlich dabei und pro Person zahlt man 125 Euros. Interessante Erfahrung und gute show, aber ein Stammgast werde ich da nicht.

Et le temps s'arrête chez Camille. Une expérience hors du temps qui se mérite. Une vraie authenticité et une réelle histoire à conserver sans rien modifier Je modifie mon avis et change ma note suite à la mise en place d'un voiturier qui vous oblige à payer 10E alors que vous avez dîné au restaurant. Habituellement, cette somme est déduite de la note finale. Pratique extrêmement étrange et pour le moins déstabilisante pour les habitués du lieu

Mehr Schein als Sein? Wir haben nach Champagner als Apperitiv das Menü zu je €130 incl. einer Flasche Wein, 2xWasser und Kaffee gegessen. Die Vorspeise war sehr gut, die Bouillabaisse wurde dann aus Schüssel in unsere Teller gefüllt. Erst 5min später kam die Fischsorten, sehr reichlich, der die inzwischen lauwarme Suppe zusätzlich abkühlt. Zwischendurch wurde dann die Bouillabaisse gegen eine heiße Terine getauscht. Da der Fisch nun Raumtemperatur hatte, war diese dann leider auch schnell lauwarm. Schade, geschmacklich sehr gut. Die Nachtischauswahl ist groß, fällt aber geschmacklich doch sehr ab. Wir saßen am "Fenster", der Blick auf den Strand ist unschön. Nun zum enttäuschenden Service. Die Champagnerglaser wurden von der Stirnseite auf den Tisch gestellt, nicht an die Weingläser. Obwohl wir noch den Champagner tranken, wurden wir 2mal gedrängt, den Wein einzuschränken zu lassen. Als wir den Wein (Rose) dann tranken, war er zu warm. Auf meinen Hinweis wurde uns gesagt, der kühlt jetzt im Weinkühler noch ab. In den dann ca. 1,5h wurde nicht einmal der Versuch unternommen, nachzuschenken. Ja, sie waren freundlich stets bemüht. Passt leider so gar nicht zum Anspruch.

Disappointing experience. First, the good: it’s a beautiful space overlooking the water and the wood-fired kitchen smells delightful. Unfortunately, that’s really the only positive. The service was frankly terrible. We had a reservation at 20:00 but were not served water or wine for nearly 30 minutes. I can’t recall our waiter’s name because he never provided it. There was no introduction to the menu or the restaurant. The server was absent for most of the evening and never recommended additional wine or beverages through the evening. There was significant delay in our main course while other tables seated after us received their plates. And when we finally received our dishes they were merely OK. Perhaps it was an off night but I can’t recommend this restaurant.

Siamo stati a cena in due persone e, a parte la posizione sicuramente di effetto in quanto su una spiaggia, e il personale gentile, devo dire che il conto ci ha sbalordito..per 2 antipasti (cozze gratinate e calamari) un pesce San Pietro alla griglia di taglia assolutamente media, un dessert (tortina con albicocche), acqua naturale e una mezza bottiglia di vino (il più economico sul menù), il totale presentatoci alla cassa è stato di € 277!!!! Mai in nessuna fantasia avremo potuto immaginare di pagare un San Pietro € 170..oltre ai € 10 per la bottiglia di acqua Panna!! Assolutamente da evitare perché il cibo non era all'altezza nemmeno per la metà del prezzo.

One of the poorest bouillabaisse I ever got served in over 44 years, but for the price of 75 Euro/person that's quite acceptable... . Lucky me I charge my next client for my lawyer services instead of CHF 280 for the first hour CHF 365, so at least I was able to get over the financial damage. Interesting though they write on their own homepage: "Huile d’olive, oignons, ail, thym, tomates, sans oublier le safran, voilà la base de la bouillabaisse." There is plenty of "safran" and the other ingredients lose the battle of getting recognized at large. On the seaside, only calamar and one other fish was countable. However, the view is nice and the "liste des vins" is at a quite reasonable prices. So go there, take an Apéro (e.g. Puligny-Montrachet Magnum white) but don't, really don't, order the bouillabaisse (and also not - for the love of your kids - the kids burger). Also pour le grand cuistot dans la cuisine "Chez Camille", j'ai ajouté une foto comment une bouillabaisse devrait être. Caveat emptor!
