For more than 25 years we have been enjoying the wonderful food they serve here at Ladigo’s. The service, the food, the atmosphere, and the workers, it’s like you’re celebrating with family. Thank You 😎

Latigo Kid has been around for many years and has always been on my favorites list. With the demise of many of the Mexican restaurants in the area or others that changed ownership and gone downhill, Latigo Kid is just about it now. If anything, they have improved with time so this is my go-to Mexican place now.

Another birthday. 8 people. We had our own tepon table. A great chef...very nice servers and very good food.

Although it has moved, The Latigo Kid has been in Agoura Hills for decades. The food still has that comfort food flavor spread across a delightful menu. Best fajitas around.

Food was good. The service was really good and they check in on you during your visit. This place needs an Hispanic upgrade on the atmosphere. Clean, just not a mexican feel. STRONG MAGARITAS 👌

My family,friends, and I have been coming here for years. The people food and drinks are always awesome. Chips and salsa are dynamite every time. Crispy tacos, carne asada burrito\quesadilla, crab enchiladas. So much good flavor. Perra and Cadillac margaritas are the best. Juan,Juan jr, Lee, polo, Alex. Everyone over there always makes it an awesome experience. Keep up the good work guys. Definitely check them out if you haven’t!!

The BEST Chile Verde ANYWHERE! I have tried this dish at dozens of restaurants and Latigo Kid has the best!

My wife and i love Mexican food and try new places whenever we get the chance. This was an excellent Mexican restaurant. It is as close as you can get to 5 stars. The food was very good but the "Cadillac Marguerita" was the best we have ever had.

Latigo Kid provides delicious, authentic Mexican food, in such a friendly atmosphere! The owners and staff are so welcoming, they make you feel like you're coming home for dinner. I'll be coming home for dinner as long as they are there.

Easiest accessible local Mexican food place, with well priced food and a good patio area, very welcoming for meeting large groups or just a few friends without being rushed. Servers are seasoned workers here, all helpful and nice mannered. The place is modestly decorated and clean. And their prices reflect their attention to want to serve locals on a regular basis. No frills and great attitude. Give them your business, you won't regret having a place to go any day, any time! (Thru the last 30+ yrs Mexican food has been served here under different names, but just as good. In the summer some live music -as was decades back- would be nice to have again).

For nearly 40 years my family and I have enjoyed the authentic mexican food, OUTSTANDING margaritas, and friedly staff that feels like "family." (maybe a little better than family these days :)). Though I have moved farther away, I still look for any excuse to stop at this favorite of favorites. Owners Diane and Pete, always greet you with a friendly smile and a warm "Hello."

I've lived in Agoura since I was five years old; my family has enjoyed meals from The Latigo Kid for years! All I can say is we are NEVER disappointed; the service is excellent, restaurant is clean and welcoming, staff is very friendly, and the food is always delicious! I don't think I've ever had a bad experience there. Not to mention, the margaritas are perfect! Can't find a better margarita anywhere else.

Diane, Rauol, busboy and Gabriel, waiter are fantastic. They made our luncheon (15/20 people) absolutely wonderful. A beautiful table on the patio. Everyone was very happy with their order. Good size portions (gotta luv left overs). Definitely a great experience. Lunch menu, is very good, items available, something for every budget.

I love this place. The chips and salsa are fire. I got the carnitas nachos, they were delicious! Service is very quick and staff is friendly.

This has been a family favorite for as long as I can remember. We love the staff in fact my mother and all her friends have all there Birthday lunches there and even bring cake for afterwards and whatever left over they give to the waiters . Plus they have the best margaritas in town . 😋

Our very favorite Mexican Restaurant and we drive from Thousand Oaks. The food is very good, the margaritas are Awesome and the staff can't be beat. Most of the servers have been there for over 30 years and are wonderful guys!! Family owned and ran over more years then I care to remember.

Great service and the food was really good. We order 4 different dishes and were all satisfied with our meal, keep in mind portions are huge!. I had The sopa de albondigas and the crunchy tacos, very good. Drinks are super STRONG, also very good.

Authentic flavorful Mexican food! I was worried it would be like some joints I’ve gone to that have toned down the spice for the neighborhood. If I were a local I would be at this joint often! This place is honestly just great! The food is very good and so are the drinks! Our waiter was extremely attentive and we had a very nice time! I had the Chili Verde, which was superb, with a Cadillac, and it was perfect. We will definitely be going back soon, have not eaten that good of Mexican food in a while.

Great place for dinner. Lunch specials on weekdays. Love their salsa. Everything is good but in particular we like the shredded beef tacos, taquitos, nachos, and carnitas. They have a bar with some TVs and a back room for parties. Parking is open and free.

We recommend this restaurant highly! Their food, decor, and staff are terrific and we really enjoy going there. Their prices are reasonable, too, and it's a nice place to visit.

It is your regular, average local Mexican restaurant. Nothing is particularly great, but everything is good... Kind of what you expect I guess. We are what you might call "regulars" but not a weekly thing for sure.

Love the food but one complaint... When you dine in, with your order you get some chips & salsa, included. When you order take out, you don't get any salsa or chips. Even if you just want a small amt of salsa to add to your meal, you have to pay the price for a full order of chips & salsa. Makes no sense. Eat in, you get chips & salsa with your meal. Take out, they wont include even a little salsa to put on your taco. You must pay for a full order of chips salsa. Love the food & service here but feel its ridiculous they wont put a little salsa in your bag for your food.

The place is ok. The food that I've had, mainly tacos and burritos have been adequate but nothing to write home about. I've had better at simple Mexican taquerias DTLA. Tacos were dry no sour cream, nor salsa or guac inside them surprisingly

Very good food, very reasonably priced. I am not a local and happen on this location by accident. The hose, waiters, and barkeep knew all the people's names -it made the meal more enjoyable. This was not just a restaurant, this was something more. I will be coming back here again and again.

Crispy Tacos were good and quite big, one is enough. Fajitas we very strange, they were covered in a red sauce and didn't taste good. Chips and salsa were very good.

It was OK. Chips and salsa were good. The salad had too much dressing. The enchilada sauce we more mild than I like. Chicken was good. Tacos are really big.

We have eaten at Latigo Kid several times and each time we left feeling the food was just ok. We always leave feeling like some of the entrees are just too greasy. Latigo Kid has been around a long time, but, I think we had our last visit there.

This place has been there forever. Nice atmosphere and excellent service. Good for groups, as they have a big back room. The food is standard California Mexican.

When we went they were more crowded than usual and didn’t seem prepared for it. Usually we are satisfied, especially with the drinks, but not this time.

Went and had dinner there, the service was great, but the food and drinks were not unfortunately. Mexican restaurant it ain't, if they can't make fajitas rite or a Bloody Mary .

I used to come here all the time in high school. I had a friend in town and we he wanted Mexican food so we stopped in Decent but the carnitas were dry and didn't sit well with me. All the food was lacking salt. Wait staff was friendly but despite not being that busy we found ourselves waiting a long time for everything but I think they only had two waiters so we remained patient. Too expensive to eat out now and it cost us 70 bucks for two people.

Salsa was really good, it wasn't too spicy and it wasn't bland, it was perfect for my likings. I ordered crunchy tacos, I thought I was really good, it was juicy, crunchy. It had a lot flavor. My husband ordered the beef fajita, the beef was chewy, it had a lot tomato sauce to it so, and the green bell pepper was over cook. So I gave a 3 because I was not very satisfy with the beef fajita, it was too chewy for me or my husband. The melon Margarita was alright, that was too sweet for me.

They dont have kids menus. They dont have yummy chips. The food is so-so, but the prices are outrageously high for what you get. It is a nice atmosphere and looks really nice inside. But nothing to jump up and down about.

Great service, but the food was horrible. They give you large portions, but the food looks and tastes artificial and microwaved. For the price, they seriously need to step up their game.

ABSOLUTELY F@@@@@G EMBARRASSING!!!!!!!!!! This place has many bad issues. First, they haven't updated their address. It is further north on Kaanan Road. Secondly, the food is not that great. It is average at best. And it is very expensive. Ate there on July 20th with 8 people. BILL WAS OVER 160 DOLLARS!!!!!! Not only were we charged for the food, there was a huge tip included, a sitting fee for my baby cousin, plus a big party fee. Then we got charged for a la carte and dinner fees when asked for a side dish. Margaritas were around 8 dollars. I asked for a fried burrito and was barely toasted. WHAT A BUNCH OF CRAP!!!!!!!!!!! I will never eat here again and have been angry for over a week over the bill. I give it 2 stars because the service was good. I'm not sure what people see in this restaurant. No queso. The guac was from a can. The Pete's Shrimp was bland. The salsa was good, but that's about it. I guess they make killer margaritas for people to want to pay for this disappointment. I gave a second star because the staff did a good job.

The taco salad’s crispy tortilla bowl was tasty, tho small, but on it was a big pile of shredded iceberg lettuce and very little of everything else. The carnitas was that oven-dried variety which may or may not be authentic but is basically so overcooked and dried out that it might as well be jerky. I left hungry with a massive pile of shredded lettuce on the plate, as did my friend. The wet burrito looked good. My daughter did not like her tacos. And it came out to almost $30 per person just for a basic meal and a Coke for weekend lunch. This is why I normally go to gas station burritos when I see one, like the one in the nearby gas station on Los virgenes road near the 101, I just got forced into this place by friends who were also disappointed, and we were all shocked at the price because it only had 1 “$” on google.

I have eaten here many times and i love the food and service. Today i ordered to go a burrito a la carte and the pescado a la carte and a side of guac. They charged 16$ for the side of guac. They fixed it then when i got home i saw that my burrito was NOT a la carte but the burrito with just chicken and beans…. Which is 7$ i feel like latigo kid stole my money:(

This place used to be great I ordered enchiladas the chicken was tasteless and dry there was minimal sauce and a dot of cheese. The service was lacking it was hard to flag anyone down . The prices have increased which was to be expected but to also cut down on the ingredients and quality is not good.

The recent reviews are accurate about this place. I haven't been since before the pandemic and this will be my last time. No happy hour. No Taco Tuesday specials. A pint of Pacifico is $7.25. The worst chicken fajitas I've ever had were $21.00 - a mix of white and dark nuggets in a sauce that tasted like ketchup. My companion liked her enchiladas so there was that. Also, the bar is full of loud, obnoxious regulars who've probably been going there since it was Cisco's back in the 90's. With Plata down the street and Los Agaves a couple exits away, I'll be going there for all my Mexican food needs since the food there is significantly better, the prices are the same, and they actually have a happy hour. I'm really disappointed by what's happened to this place. You can't charge high-end prices and offer substandard food. This is why restaurants are failing and I'm shocked this place is still open.

Horrible service. I waited 15 minutes to order, was ignored, rudely told to move several times. I never even got my order in, what a waste of my time. Totally unprofessional staff ignored me while the chatted away to each other for a whole 15 minutes before I walked out and left. To go service bites!

Found a rubber band in my salsa , was served by Ricky , no appolgy nothing , he just grabbed it and walked away . Server was rude , asked him if they has anything spicy and his reply was - we don't do spicy .Half the place was empty and service was bad . Server wouldn't stop walking when talking to people seated and when asked for a check , he came by and dropped a piece of paper . He had the receipt holder on his waistband.Frankly the worst experience I have had in a long time at a restaurant and I think a part of that has to do with my ethinicity.

This NOT texmex! Veggie options are very limited. Staff is below average. My food was cold and very bland. The restaurant wasn't busy at all ..... so why was my food cold? It's also way over priced

Chicken thigh fajitas for $17.50? Disgusting and wrong. Not one internet receipe calls for less than breast meat. Cheap meat/expensive fajitas.😑

Be very careful if ordering online. I made the mistake of ordering off online menu. When I I went to pick up they wanted $7 more! I explained to owner but he didn’t care. I offered to buy the meal for the online price and give waiter extra tip and he said no. There are plenty of other places to go if you crave Mexican food. Plata at Whizins for sure is far better. Will never be back to Latigo Kid and will do my best to deter anyone I know.

Use to be more jovial. No music, dull decorations. Carney asada is not served without a sauce. I like my fajitas that I can build myself. The owner is cheap and too set in his ways. What a shame

I wanted to like this place. I had seen it for a while, it has a nice patio, but the food is horrendous. “I couldn’t believe they would serve that” kind of horrendous. I ordered a fish taco that was basically a salt bomb. An oversized corn tortilla, very little fish and accompanied by pico de gallo. After one bite, I HAD to return it. The waiter gave me attitude about returning it, he tried to ignore me, I called out to him three times as he walked away. When he finally turned, I asked for an asada taco instead. The asada taco, although better, meat was tender, it had absolutely zero flavor. The 1800 Cadillac margarita was somehow also weak in flavor. I recommend they hire an actual chef, as cruel as that sounds and a mixologist. They would both be well worth the money. If this is the norm, I’m not sure how they’re still in business. Oh and they charged me for both tacos lol.

I bought dinner for my family (To-go), and they got everything incorrect. For example, they upsold me on chips because my guacamole didn’t come with it. They forgot the chips $6. They forgot my soup. They forgot the beans in my burrito, And the guacamole was brown. I spent a lot of money here as everything is overpriced to get incorrect average food. I will not be back and will not recommend this restaurant to anyone seeking Mexican food in the area.

I wanted to like this place. I had seen it for a while, it has a nice patio, but the food is horrendous. “I couldn’t believe they would serve that” kind of horrendous. I ordered a fish taco that was basically a salt bomb. An oversized corn tortilla, very little fish and accompanied by pico de gallo. After one bite, I HAD to return it. The waiter gave me attitude about returning it, he tried to ignore me, I called out to him three times as he walked away. When he finally turned, I asked for an asada taco instead. The asada taco, although better, meat was tender, it had absolutely zero flavor. The 1800 Cadillac margarita was somehow also weak in flavor. I recommend they hire an actual chef, as cruel as that sounds and a mixologist. They would both be well worth the money. If this is the norm, I’m not sure how they’re still in business. Oh and they charged me for both tacos lol.
