Unforgettable experience from start to finish! I ordered the steak and shrimp, and watching it all cooked right in front of us added such a special touch—everything was perfectly seasoned and delicious. It was my birthday, and the staff went above and beyond: they surprised me with a free dessert and even brought out a sparkling firework candle that I got to hold! The energy, attention to detail, and genuine care made the entire night feel incredibly special. Truly one of the best dining experiences I’ve ever had.

I am not one for upscale restaurants. I find that something is always lacking despite the beautiful atmosphere and air of luxury. Whether it be the food, the service, or both. While visiting my family in Aguascalientes, that was absolutely my experience with several restaurants, but on my last day, my aunt chose this location. It redeemed every iffy meal I had thus far. 1828 strikes the perfect balance in experience. The location itself is elegant and atmospheric, complimented by a loop of Pedro Torres' Estrellas del Bicentenario. The food was fantastic both in flavor and presentation. And the service was topnotch. There's a natural and easy attitude among the staff. Personable, witty, friendly, and genuinely kind. Whether you're local or visiting, I highly recommend a visit. If you're I'm Aguascalientes during the Feria de San Marcos, I suggest a reservation because there's no doubt the dining list will be brimming.

Overall good food. Did not like the random music choices (rap/hip hop one minute then classical music after) selected during our diner. I was given the opportunity to order rib eye steak....then 5 minutes later I was told there is a problem with the steak and that I had to choose something else....in an expensive restaurant like this? Unacceptable. Also we were given the wine list and selected our rosé wine...upon ordering that wine...we were told that it was only bottle order only (even though it says in the menu per cup/glass. Overall unimpressed with the restaurant. I was expecting more.

I saw so many great reviews I was excited to go try and I was deeply disappointed. This place is more show than quality food. The food was lacking and at the price point was deeply disappointing. I should’ve eaten at the taco truck outside it smelt so much better! Plus I’ve been toilet bound since eating here.

Seriously this place is A1! Beautiful! Clean! Amazing food! Service is top notch! Sexy vibes, presentation, just absolutely stunning. Big flaw, no parking availability. They offer valet service, and looking at this place we had no worries that our car was safe. We went with valet parking for our vehicle. Soon after leaving and experiencing this great meal, we checked into our hotel. Upon arriving to our hotel and unpacking I discovered my toiletries bag was taken from the trunk. The only place we stopped at before checking in, was this restaurant. Luckily it was toiletries and although our skincare product$ were inside, along with makeup, everything is replaceable. We usually don’t drive around town with our luggage in the trunk. However, we went for the day to explore Aguascalientes. We were hungry and wanted to eat as soon as we arrived.. As mentioned, nothing of value was taken except the trust. *UPDATE* 04/16/24* I decided to update this because as much as we felt it wasn't a big deal, we realized my child's inhaler, my medication for vertigo, and other medication important to my spouse's health was also inside. After replacing everything, including prespription re-fills, cosmetics, skincare product, etc. it added up to $300 plus a $175 meal. Our grand total for visiting this establishment cost us $475.00. Although I appreciate the owner responding, I just don't see a solution other than a refund which I am not expecting. So if you decide to valet park at this location, make sure your vehicle is completely empty. Sad that the valet company has tarnished even if just a smudge the trust the customer should have when arriving at this very beautiful restaurant.
