I had a bad experience ordering a cake from this branch, they didn't deliver what I ordered in cake, it was as if I had ordered it online. The cake I ordered was round and tall and what they gave me was square 🤦🏻‍♀️ first and last time I order something and they didn't want to make it the way I asked or return my money 👎🏻

The cakes are good, but I ordered a Selena Quintanilla cake and they gave it to me in a different shape than I requested, so I'm giving it 1 star.

There's a sign that says Mon and Thurs 2x1 Frappes, so we thought that would be good deal. We tried both days to order two Frappes, but ended up leaving without any both times! When we entered, the lady behind the counter was making two frappes for a young family. When it was our turn, I said we wanted the same thing, two frappes. She turns to the frappe blender, and turns back to me and says "Nooooooo...." No reason why, just "No." She had just finished making two frappes - clearly she knows how to make them, and clearly she sells them. My husband started to ask why not, and started to say that we would take any flavor of frappe they had available if that was the issue - but she walks to the other side of the counter and asks the people behind me who are sitting at a table, asking them what they wanted instead. Like we weren't even there. Ignored us completly. She would not answer any questions or take any further orders from us. My husband, who ordered, didn't speak a word of english to her - he did it all in spanish. He always does his best to meet the workers in their language, and to order nicely and respectfully - always with "por favor" and "gracias". But in Pastelleria Americana in Ajijic, we received no frappes and no respect. With a name like "America", you would think they would WANT business from Americans and Canadians, but it does not appear so.Terrible service, and no desire to work or serve customers. While we loved the one in Chapala, we will never order from here again. PS: Al dueño de este negocio, le convendría buscar un nuevo empleado, por que ella ha demostrado que no quiere trabajar allí.Estoy seguro de que también es un problema para otros. De lo contrario, dentro de un año podría encontrarse con que le faltan clientes...

El día de hoy pasamos a comprar un pastel y para empezar la empleada estaba con una carota que no tenía ni ganas de atender por estar en una llamada le preguntabas algo y contestaba de mala gana

I hate saying this because the place is nice but easily the worst bakery :( We even decided to buy a few additional desserts to try and change our mind but got worst! They sold us ´´lemon mousse´´ which ended up having a jelly texture horrible we had to throw it away, then the piece of cakes are dry and flavorless, lastly we gave it a final shot with the apple pie and it was just dry dry dry, never coming back dont recommend it.

This is the first time I have had such a terrible experience. I have never been treated like this at any other American pastry shop. I only asked if they could change my slice (at that moment) and the lady got angry and started talking to me face to face. They should be given customer service training and I blame whoever owns it for having people like this working now, when the girls before her were always very kind and attentive.
