Delicous, high quality. Not pretentious but felt special. Really great service and lovely atmosphere. Jeff served us and was a delight! Really knowledgeable and friendly. We followed his instructions and had a divine meal. Will return and often!
Went for a Tuesday date night - casual, great service, and food is really fresh. Definitely going back soon. Eggrolls and beef noodles are awesome. Outdoor patio looks great, too!
This place is wonderful! The food is so good. The staff is friendly and helpful. The atmosphere is bright, clean, and comfortable. We shared several dishes. The beef tenderloin clay pot was magnificent. The flavors were amazing. They bring it bubbling and sizzling to the table, which somehow makes it more incredible. We also had the vegetable street noodles, which was a group favorite. The pork soup dumplings were so good. Normally I am not a fan of dumplings, but these are the exception. The flavors were just great. We also had the Dover sole (very tasty), the chicken fried rice (pretty good), the crunch rolls (perfectly crispy and very flavorful; can definitely taste the cinnamon and the curry), and the Chinese lemonade, which we all really loved. Less like lemonade and more like a green, citrus tea, sweet like honey. Our compliments to the chef. We will be back!
I was impressed with how fresh and homemade the food was at this place! Really enjoyed the soup dumplings 🥟 Beef tenderloin clay pot was very fresh. Large portions and my husband and I definitely had leftovers
First time checking out the second location. Great food. Great service. Vegan options. Cocktails on this menu too! (Summer patio will also be SO nice.)
We're fans of the sister restaurant, Fortune Wok To Table, so when we came in to the new location, it was nice to be recognized, by Jeff. The Shrimp Shanghai noodles, still so good. Happy to see an expanded menu and can't wait to return to try the sole and the crispy half-duck! Thank you, for the complimentary glass of wine, last night! We wish you guys the best of luck in the new location. It has a chance to be a real jewel.
We dined at Fortune Long Jia Le on Valentines Day and it was one of those experiences that made us feel like we were exactly where we were supposed to be. The environment was so warm and welcoming. We started with the fried Beef Dumplings and Jeff suggested the Chao Dover Sole and Shanghainese Beef Street Noodles; we looooved everything. Yun was amazing and brought us tiramisu topped with mochi. I've never tasted anything like it. I'm already so excited to go back. Thank you so much! Truly made our night!

2/12 & 14/ 2026 We were visiting from Chattanooga, Tn and wanted to share our previous fantastic experiences of Fortune Wok to Table with our Denver family but we decided Fortune Nong Jia Le would suit our spread of four generations better… The entire evening could not have been more wonderful. From the moment we arrived, we felt genuinely welcomed. The comfortable dining room setting made it such an enjoyable experience for our whole family, especially for my grandparents. What truly set the evening apart were the personal touches from the staff. On a later return visit during our trip, they remembered our earlier reservation request and even my drink preference.(kick back) That level of attentiveness made us feel less like customers and more like honored guests. It’s rare to encounter that kind of thoughtful hospitality, and it meant so much to our family. The meal itself was outstanding. The pork dumplings were simply superb—perfectly tender wrappers with incredibly flavorful, juicy filling that had everyone at the table reaching for “just one more.” They were easily some of the best we’ve ever had. The beef street noodles were just as impressive. The noodles had the ideal texture, and the beef was rich, savory, and beautifully seasoned. The depth of flavor in the sauce tied everything together in a way that felt both comforting and unforgettable. Sharing such an exceptional meal across four generations made the night even more special. We left full, grateful, and already looking forward to our next visit. This restaurant has truly earned a place among our family favorites.
Had a totally delicious meal here, and look forward to returning to try some more dishes! Our fav was the vegetarian river noodles (an off-menu vegetarian dish), and the beef clay pot, though we also enjoyed the pork bao buns and vegetables dumplings. They are very good at accommodating allergies, and don’t use any oyster sauce or XO sauce, which made it safe for one member of our party with a fish and seafood allergy to dine here. That’s a big perk! Overall I found the meal felt like a flavorful, slightly lighter meal. (I.e. not heavy feeling like some Chinese spots can be. (Though this is Shanghainese.)) Excited to return to try more of the dishes!
**5-Star Neighborhood Gem Alert! 🚀** Whoops, got the deets a tad mixed up—thanks for the nudge! Let's set the record straight on this awesome new spot that totally nailed our dinner vibe. We strolled in from our walking-distance pad tonight, and it was pure neighborhood magic. Freshness level? Off the charts. Prices? Wallet-friendly steals. We went for: - Fried rice (fluffy, packed with flavor, zero grease regrets) - Beef noodles (super fresh, tender beef, and that perfect noodle texture—total bowl of joy, even if they're more fork-friendly than slurpy) - Chicken with broccoli (savory sauce magic with crisp, vibrant veggies—spot-on classic done right) - Pan-fried dumplings (crispy golden exteriors, juicy fillings—vanished way too fast) Everything arrived hot, welcoming, and made with that "we care" touch. Service was all smiles and genuine neighborhood gratitude—felt like family already. And hey, if you're one of those parking lot U-turn pros: **Skip the spin-out!** Park, pop in, and feast. You'll be hooked. Officially locked into our regular rotation. Go support this gem—you won't regret it! 🥦🍜🌟
There's something special about this place. The food tastes like it was cooked with both love and intention, and the head server, Jeff, has a personality to match. You feel taken care of. It's low-key, reliable, and absolutely delicious. Our favorites: Shanghainese Crunch Rolls, Street Noodles, Noodle Soup, and Chao Dover Sole - but everything is great!
WOW 5 star Chinese food experience in Denver. The Shanghai noodles were absolutely incredible, as were the soup dumplings which were unique in taste and clearly handmade. They also have special off menu items, so always ask about that! We got handmade BBQ buns which were the best I've ever had - including in Hong Kong.
A gem of a spot. Speaking with the server, he helped us build our “journey” of a meal. The pork dumplings led into the half duck and paired with a delicious beef noodle. Still thinking about it today and when I can go back. Loved the cocktails too. The space is charming, especially if you are able to sit outside.
Absolutely delicious mix of Shanghai street food and high end wine bar. Randomly stumbled upon this restaurant while visiting the neighborhood and now can’t wait to go back. Atmosphere could be super casual but also a great setting for a wine-bar date. We tried a selection of dishes and all were delicious. Service was also superb. Very nice surprise in an out of the way location.
My mom and I have been looking for amazing Chinese food for a very long time and we finally found it here at Fortune Nong Jia Le! We started out with an amazing bottle of Rose suggested by their in-house Sommelier, Jeff, who was also our server. He treated us like royalty, taking our entire experience to the next level. We ordered the Dover Sole, Veggie Fried Rice and Chicken Noodles. Exquisite. And they are not even fully open yet as they are still finishing up opening up and stocking all their space. Can't wait to come back and continue exploring their menu!
Really delicious Chinese that‘s actually pretty light and not too greasy. People there are super nice. The winter wonton soup in particular is the perfect soup for feeling under the weather or for a cold day. Highly recommend!!
Wow, wow, wow! We love soup dumplings and were excited to try this place. Everything we tried from crunchy rolls, pan fried pork dumplings, soup dumplings and beef street noodles were delicious! Jeff our server was so helpful and friendly. He is also a sommelier and their wine list is super impressive!! I went with my 12 year old son and he loved everything! We are excited to go back and try the other dishes!

Dumplings, fried rice, specialties of Shanghai, many designed to share. Unusual cocktails. Fantastic service, outdoor patio, large private dinning room.

Delicious. We had the Dover Sole, veggie dumplings, cucumbers & chicken street noodles. Left happy and full. Fantastic, attentive service.

Unforgettable positive experience! My family visiting Denver were looking for a decent meal and we’re having trouble finding parking on this side of town. We parked in their lot thinking they were closed, they were but the sommelier invited us in, informing us that they were prepping for a catering event the next day. He had a word with the chef and once he learned we had never tried Shanghai food, they rolled out the red carpet. First they gave the table small samples of a Chinese lemonade with sweetened honey. Then we ordered fried pork dumplings, beef noodles, the crispy duck and the Dover sole. Jeff our sommelier recommended most of them and proceeded to treat us weary travelers with grace and understanding, especially when they had almost no service staff so late at night. All items disappeared with nothing left over and the family was delighted! Don’t miss your opportunity to try real authentic high quality Shanghai food and service that’ll make you rethink who you pay for food and a dine in experience. These folks are the real deal! They are rare gems in a world of duds. They gave hungry people an exception with a full night of work on the docket and went beyond satisfying customers they didn’t have to serve. My recommendation for Rudy R is to save the online ordering for Panda Express and go in to the restaurant and dine in with extraordinarily hospitable folks with an open mind and empty stomach.
The place is romantic and very pretty. My wife and I had a great time. The noodles and dumplings were amazing. The server also showed me the private party room, it was wonderful. So I made a reservation for a family birthday party in the end of this month. Can't wait to go the party!
I went for a party of 20 people and the service was great! The food was amazing, especially tenderloin beef clay pot, the Shanghainese crispy half duck, and the Chao Dover sole. The wild wine was perfect with the food. The environment was amazing as well! Will definitely go again!

The food and service were both really good. The place itself is simple, but the food is solid and well done. Prices felt a bit on the higher side for such a no-frills restaurant, but overall the experience was positive. Parking was easy, the location is convenient and very close to where I live, which is a big plus. We didn’t order any drinks, just water, and there was no wait at all — it was just us there. It definitely has potential, and I hope it does well. It’s not easy to compete with bigger, long-established restaurants, but this place deserves a chance.
The dumplings were ok, the beef street noodles were absolutely amazing and I would recommend those over the dumplings. Service was awesome though and it was a great vibe with good portions

To say I was disappointed is an understatement. When we finally sat down for a 6:30 reservation on a Friday evening, we were told that three signature dishes were already sold out - soup dumplings, pork belly and their eggplant dish. I ordered what was still available on the menu- the duck and the clay pot beef. Both dishes were inedible and dry. I will not be back.
