Contigo Kitchen + Cava (aka Ceron Kitchen) is a highly-rated Alameda restaurant known for excellent food and service. Standout dishes include the clam chowder, ribeye, and rack of lamb. Some found brunch hollandaise and other dishes too salty.

I really enjoyed my meal. The food was delicious we had ribeye prawns filet mignon pasta and crème brûlée. My only complaint the staff stand behind the counter and stared and my date and I while we ate. They were behind the counter and it was awkward for me. The beers were good but the margarita was bitter so ask for sugar instead of salt
OMG! Ceron Kitchen - Kitchen | Table | Bar, has a amazing food. The service, by Arnold, is second to none. The ambiance is spacious and chill. $$$ but worth every bit
We had an opportunity to have dinner at this restaurant. We are vegetarians and this is not a place for us, BUT! The food was great! Salmon was delicious and rice was absolutely mouthwatering! My husband ordered potato pesto gnocchi and we were not disappointed at all! The highlight was the desert. Our server was attentive and polite. We will definitely be back!
Food and service were excellent. We had the lamb and the ribeye. I normally don't care for lamb, but it was so good. My only wish is that as a little birthday treat, they would offer a dessert instead of alcohol, since I don't drink.
To say that Ceron blew us away is an understatement. Everything about the restaurant was top-notch, and I mean everything. We celebrated my daughters birthday at Ceron, and it was worth every dollar. Our server, Jesus, was amazing and shared details about the restaurant, the chef, the items we selected, and how some of the dishes and drinks were named. The food was crazy good, and the service was at another level. The restaurant seriously felt like it was taken out of New York or London and placed here in Alameda. If you're looking for a destination restaurant, this has to be on your list.
Wow what an amazing fine dining experience! Kudos to the chef! Everything tasted delicious! The pistachio salad had so much pistachio and the dressing was made perfect! The seafood pasta and ribeye is to die for! Scallops were the best and a great selection of wine to pair. Service is impeccable:)
This place was amazing. The staff was awesome. Nothing to complian about. Can't wait to go back
What a nice brunch experience! Ceron Kitchen is a great addition to Webster Street and Alameda. We went there for a late breakfast and it was the perfect starter for this Sunday. We started with a delicious Berry Salad, fresh and nicely presented. My wife then had Black Forest Ham Benedict and I chose Lox Scramble. It was very good, tastefully presented and just the right portion size. Even the coffee was a delight for the eyes (the coffee itself was not spectacular, but ok), with a nice cup and an extra little mug for the milk (see picture). Service was very friendly, reasonably quick, but not rushed, the interior had some tasteful elegance and the bathrooms were clean, even offering single wrapped peppermints for refreshment. Overall a very pleasant experience and we’ll make sure to come back. So here is an update: we came back for dinner and it was again a pleasant experience. Friendly service, delicious food, nice ambience. But one slight minus this time: the main dish came too fast after the appetizers, and yes, it felt a little rushed this time. A three course dinner in about 60 minutes is not enough time to really savor it. We came a third time and it was perfect. Food, service, presentation, timing. First class. The waitress recommended Octopus Tostada as one of the appetizers and it turned out to be perfect composition of citrus and mild octopus flavors.
We found this amazing restaurant by happenstance! I had a last minute home showing late in the day on a Saturday in the Alameda area. I asked my husband to drive me so we could grab dinner after. While I was in the showing , he looked up places to eat in the area and came upon Ceron Kitchen. We are so happy we found this place! This is definitely a higher end establishment and would be a great place for a special celebration or business dinner. However, diners on the patio were enjoying the relaxing, more casual atmosphere and there were families with children and groups of younger people enjoying drinks. Not a stuffy place at all. The restaurant is aesthetically gorgeous, (Reas about the owner on their website, he is a home builder as well). The staff was professional and very knowledgeable but also super friendly and fun to talk to. The drinks and food were top notch! Definitely a fine dining experience. They have a great creative cocktail menu( we tried a couple and they were delicious) and an extensive wine list. The menu was varied with many intriguing dishes in both the First and the Main courses and there were so many things we wanted to try! We settled on sharing a wonderful Blueberry & Strawberry Salad and the Street Corn for our Firsts. Both exceptionally good and made with the freshest produce. I have eaten a lot of “ street” style Mexican corn ( Esquites) and this was an elevated version. Delicious. For entrees my husband got the Duck with Mushroom Risotto and I got the Frutti Di Mare. Both exceptional!! These dishes were both done exceedingly well. The duck was amazing, the seafood fresh and the Pasta in the Frutti Di Mare was cooked to perfection. We don’t usually eat dessert, but we made an exception here because of how good the food was. We got the Chocolate Silk Pie and were not disappointed! So worth the calories!!!! Ceron Kitchen is the perfect reason to head out yo charming Alameda. We strolled around the downtown area for a bit after dinner (since we ate every last bite!) and enjoyed the restaurants location. We will be back! There are so many other dishes we want to try and this will be a great special occasion or business dinner spot as well.
Last minute decision to dine at Ceron this evening. What a fabulous idea! I'd never been before but have always been intrigued when driving by because it looks so nice. If you don't want to read all the specifics of the meal, just know it's a fabulous restaurant and the food is delicious! We started with cocktails - Ube Martini (pretty, tasty but quite sweet), Coconut Highball (very balanced and the Coconut was there but not overwhelming), Under Pressure (gorgeous glass, smokey, and nice to sip). We started with the Chive Biscuits (dainty, maybe 1" cubes, crispy and flakey, served with delicate honey butter). Crab and avocado with citrus pieces (very fresh and great pairings of flavors). Next was the Spinach, Blueberry and Strawberry salad. It was done perfectly with just the right amount of dressing, goat cheese, and pecans. For our entrees we had lobster fettuccine (DELICIOUS-decent amount of lobster meat and the sauce was fabulous- you could taste the chanterelle mushrooms), seafood fettuccine (AMAZING- the flavor was wonderful! You could taste the asparagus but there were only thinly sliced pieces of it in the dish. All the ingredients were fresh and perfectly cooked). Duck breast with mushroom risotto and a piece of tempura portabello mushroom. Those who eat duck said it was good. The mushroom risotto and the tempura portabello were soooo good. It would be a fabulous idea if they offered the risotto as an entrée!! We didn't have room for dessert but we were full of DELICIOUS food!! Excellent atmosphere and food!!
Just wow. I can’t even begin to describe what an amazing experience we had to celebrate my father in law birthday. The service was outstanding, very attentive and answered all of questions as first timers. The ambiance was perfect with tasteful decor. We were able to taste a few wines before deciding on a bottle, and the stemware omg. For four people and a one year old we comfortably ate two appetizers which were divine. Then we died after receiving the main course, each of us devoured our beautifully plated meals. We finished off with coffee and dessert which was equally beautiful and delicious. For the life of me I cannot remember our waitress name but she was truly wonderful. To add, extremely child friendly for such a nice restaurant which was refreshing!

Best clam chowder I have ever had. The presentation was fantastic and the flavors were exquisite. The short ribs were cooked just right. The ambiance was great. Alameda needs a high end restaurant.m like Ceron. There was no rush at all to leave. The server was very attentive. My only concern was that it took a while for the food to be delivered. But the wait was worth it.
Great service good food great drinks. Hat off to the chef the food/drinks came out in the timely manner which was awesome because it kept the kids at bay and avoid brunch melt down. The maple old fashion was a great way to start the meal and the fresh OJ was perfect to follow. The black forest ham Benedict was cooked so perfectly I was impressed. The French toast was great. Just firm and toast perfectly on the out side but not soggy on the inside. The fresh berries on to tip it off was the best. The crepe was great the whip ricotta topping was just right amount or rich and creaminess to set the whole off and it was even better on the French toast(oreder a side of thr crepe topping and thank me later). The dinning atmosphere was very upscale and elegant. Great lighting and nice music in the back round really set the vibe here. Definitely would like to got back for dinner as the brunch menu was so good. They definitely have a return customer.
Probably one of the best restaurants in Alameda. All of the dishes we ordered were amazing and if I had to pick my favorites it would definitely be... Appetizer: (1) the confit fennel pork belly with pickled kumquats, and a poached egg along with (2) the Spanish octopus that came with fingerling potatoes, grape tomatoes, kalamara olives and a cilantro chimichurri. Entree: Cabernet braised short ribs with baby spring carrots and parsnips. Even the berry cheesecake was amazing and plated beautifully. The service was equally amazing quick service and friendly staff just made our dinner extraordinary. We sat upstairs on a really warm day so it was pretty toasty up there we asked our service if they could turn on the AC or if we could relocate downstairs. They did whatever they could and told us we could relocate but we didn't want to be too much of a bother as the food and drinks started coming out so, we opted to stay put, they immediately started opening the back doors to let the breeze come in and offered us champagne on the house. Amazing amazing people running the front of house at Ceron
Ceron Kitchen definitely delivers on food flavor. We had the brussel sprouts, rack of lamb and pork chop, and our child had the sliders. Everything was cooked perfectly, even the well-done burgers for our kid retained all the great flavor at well-done. The tempura brussel sprouts were tender like cake and with the tempura batter we felt like we were eating cake. If you just want to stop here for a quick bite you won't go wrong with the brussel sprouts and aoli. Cocktails were amazing and the yellow jacket with its smokey mezcal flavor tasted was smooth like a light butter. The Cerra' tastes like what caramel wants to be. Dessert was Tres Leches and dark chocolate ice cream for the little one. You will evolve a third stomach for the desserts. The tres was smooth and delicate and not overdone in syrup. The dark chocolate ice cream will cure any need for chocolate ❤️ Environment is so classy and well thought; giving off a bronz'ish feel through the mix of color matching. Silly as it sounds but the octopus hangars at the bar were a sweet hidden touch of style and really popped against the background Staffs uniforms were crisp, sharp, and very elegant. They take pride in their image, demeanor, and presence; highly respect their style. Congratulations Alameda, you all have a supreme gem here. Worth every penny and will be coming back for the rest of the menu. With planning layout of the restaurant can easily handle large parties. Price point per person $25-$65 not including alcohol. Simplified cocktails pricing was smartly done, really appreciated the simplified thought to it. This was our spoil family date night and managed $250, not including the well-deserved tip. Thank you for doing your service craft so well ❤️
Had a craving for the crab and avocado omelette from their sister restaurant Alley & Vine, but we had never tried Ceron so we came by. Service was great, food was tasty and filling. Omelette didn’t disappoint and always love to have their biscuit.
Great steaks, well thought menu and attentive servers. Food was a bit on a salty side, but I should have asked. I wonder why the place was nearly empty it seems comfortable, great interior, great people in the kitchen fantastic and attentive to detail people in the hall. So if you are in the area don't miss the place - it is totally worth it. The food I'd recommend their Filet or Pork chop. And the butchers board is always a great starter.

My wife and I went to Ceron Kitchen last night for a date night, and it was perfect from start to finish. She had the salmon and I ordered the ribeye and both were incredible. You can really tell the kitchen puts thought into the ingredients and preparation. The service was exceptional as well; attentive without ever feeling rushed, and everyone we interacted with was genuinely welcoming. We left already talking about coming back, and it’s definitely going on our list of go-to spots for future date nights and family dinners, especially with the Holidays approaching.
I was surprised to find that Ceron Kitchen's brunch menu is just as good as their dinner menu. However, the prices are a bit steep, so be prepared to spend a bit more than you might expect. Our party was able to walk in without a reservation, but I would recommend making one if you're planning on going during a busy time. The service was excellent, and our waiter was very attentive. The food was all delicious, but I felt that the portions were a bit small for the price. Overall, I had a great experience at Ceron Kitchen, but I would probably look elsewhere for brunch if I'm looking for a more affordable option.
Came here for brunch on a Sunday around 11am. It was not too busy and we were able to bring our dog in the outside seating patio which is actually now covered to keep things warm and quiet! Upon walking in the restaurant has a clean and modern interior. You can tell it’s new and that they are trying to bring a more upscale feeling for service and ambience. Service from Jesus was excellent and very accommodating for our questions. The table shared the calamari which was crispy and delicious! The sauce also had a nice kick to it. Definitely get it. I ordered the berry soufflé and a side of eggs and bacon. I will say the menu did not have many brunch options that I personally found to meet my preferences for breakfast/brunch which I like a balance of both sweet and savory. That’s why I ordered the pancake and some side proteins. The soufflé was perfectly airy, custardy, and had great textures. The only thing I wish it had was some whip cream on top preferably cold to add some more contrast in temperature and texture. The bacon and eggs came with some potatoes and an apple scone that had some cinnamon in it. It was all fresh and delicious - but I did think everything required a little bit more salt. Overall I would come back here again and hope that they expand their brunch menu a bit more. The service was really great and I love the vibe. I would also love to bring my parents here as I think they would appreciate the environment and the food.

They have a different menu for brunch, ordered the salmon chowder and smashed avocado benedict. Both were good although the chowder was a bit salty. Fresh orange juice and good strong coffee. Small but nice outdoor seatingnwith heaters, large indoor seating. Full bar. Definitely want to come back sometime and try the dinner menu.
Was here to celebrate my birthday, made reservations & even told the host what we was there for. Don’t think she communicated with the server. Place was dead, maybe 3 other tables were occupied. They try to be fancy but service wasn’t that good, at least he tried. Food needs seasoning, we asked for stuff and I think they got insulted. Well server gave us the check n left. no wishing me happy birthday or anything. If you are paying with any card, they add 7% to your total just a FYI.
Rather mediocre food for the price; we had the crab cakes, texture was good but very little in the way flavor. Then we had the eggs Benedict; our hollandaise sauce was the color of light caramel! Tasted like gravy… no lemon in it and the butter had browned already!! I know fresh hollandaise is a pain to make, but don’t put it on the menu if you can’t make it. Good wine. Came for a birthday for two won’t come again.

Yikes bad! Hostess was very apathetic when seating us kept bumping our table while serving water. Waiter did not check on us. Had to flag another server down to get our coffee. Food was brought out for 2 of 3 people. Then 20 mins later after we flagged yet a different staff down the final plate was brought and the food was cold. They took the dish off, which was the least they could do but overall left a bad taste in our mouths. Will definitely not be coming back!
