I love coming here with my family. The food is delicious, my 4 year old says their popcorn chicken is her favorite food. I’ve had the noodle bowl which was good, portion is just right. Rolled ice cream is creamy. My only complaint is they can be a bit skimpy with toppings on the ice cream but overall, I still love it and would keep coming back. Also I LOVE the music, 90s R&B ballads.

My partner & I finally ventured to Roll & Bowl twice recently. We have ordered both food &ice cream, to go because of the pandemic. The food is tasty, & delicious. We have tried the honey chicken, veggie garlic noodles & salt & pepper tofu. My only feedback is, some kind of dipping sauce would be nice for the tofu. The garlic noodles seems a tad under cooked, but were still flavorful. We LOVE the ice cream. So many non-dairy flavors! The flavor variety is great!. They put the ice cream on ice for take away! The staff has been very friendly & helpful. You wait at the door (blocked with a table), there is cleaned menus and pens for you to use. (Ordering ice cream is done on a laminated menu w/dry erase) Last, they are currently giving out a branded small sized hand sanitizer with purchase, so cute & thoughtful! So happy to have Roll & Bowl here in Alameda!

Garlic noodles with shrimp was excellent and there were lots of shrimp unlike other places who skimp on it. The rolled ice cream was awesome. Must pay cash to get a stamp though.

In town visiting my daughter....this place is impressive. A while different "dish" of ice cream! They also make fresh to order AND have dairy free options....which my daughter loved.

There prices are reasonable . I haven't tried food yet but their ice creams are good. And there customer service is great. They are very nice.

Came here sunday evening not crowded at all. Good food at affordable price. Clean with a nice decor. Rolled ice cream tasted delish & fresh.

They took over an HOUR to make 5 ice cream rolls (okay, not a major issue I wasn't in a hurry and I know it's because of Covid but that's not all). 2. There was 3 orders after us, they all got their food before us. 3. After that whole hour waiting, we went home to enjoy our ice cream until we noticed we didn't even get what we ordered. They got half of our whole order wrong and the rest had missing ingredients/toppings. And this didn't happen just to me, it happened to a lady before us. 4. And finally, I was still going to eat the ice cream because we paid for it, but the toppings had an odd taste. Like if they were old. Overall very bad experience. I never do reviews unless the food is really good (or good service) or If I had a terrible experience. Y'all should go to Freezing Point Creamery in Oakland instead (for rolled ice cream and teas)!!! They have Excellent service, it's fast, and you get more for what you pay. The food and drinks are soooo good. Sadly it's closed but when it opens up, definitely going there again. ‼️Update‼️Sept 23rd 2020 It has been a month since they contacted me but I just saw their reply to my review. They read my review and responded and were so nice. They offered to replace my entire order for free and I do believe that it could've been a busy day that day and overwhelming orders. Today it wasn't as packed and busy as it was the day I had went. I called 20 mins prior to order the rolled Ice creams and when I arrived they diligently gave me my order. Overall I take back what I said! This is such a great place for rolled regular or VEGAN ice creams and for quick yummy plates.

Hello! I drove to this place because of its rating, and didn’t realize that all reviews are old (more than a year ago). I don’t know what happened to this place, maybe the management moved to Hawaii, but this is what I experienced today. 1. Service. When I entered the place, the cashier asked if I want a take-out, and I said that I want to eat here. The mask didn’t cover her nose, and she took my order. Than she moved to another corner of the place to cook my meal, so it was the same person who was the chef and the cashier. She didn’t return my receipt, didn’t even look at the screen to see that I tipped her well. After 5-10 min she have me my order in a plastic box and in a plastic bag while I said that I want to eat here. Please see all pictures attached 🤷🏼‍♀️. 2. Food. The meal was relatively good, while the oil in which was prepared seemed to be old and I believe that it was not changed from the morning. Please see the picture attached 🤦‍♀️. 3. Environment. I was having a dinner there and I was the only person in the cafe. While I was eating the same cashier/chef went inside and began producing a very loud sound. I highly recommend avoiding this place, because of its service, quality of the food, and place itself. Place pay attention to this review and enjoy your dinner at some other place🍛!

$18.06 and 22 minutes later, I finally got my ice cream order. No other customers besides my son, myself, another random family. That’s it. Just glad my son got his ice cream order 10 minutes after paying.

VERY DISAPOINTING!!!! Just went for my first & probably last time. been really wanting to try there rolled ice cream for some time. I ordered the strawberry w/ fruity pebbles flavor as i really like strawberry ice cream & thought it looked good on the menu. I will say that i liked seeing the ice cream made fresh & think that their rolled ice cream would be delicious if it were done right. Unfortunately tho, it was not. I do think the amount of the fruity pebbles topping used was good. Not too much nor too little. However there wasnt nearly enough strawberry in the strawberry ice cream. It tasted like i was eating frozen milk w/ a hint of strawberry in it. EXTREMELY DISAPOINTING!!! I could only force myself to eat half of it then gave it back and expressed my feelings on their being an under whelming amount of strawberry. The girl who took my order/made it seemed to care less for my opinion and didnt offer to remake it. Very upsetting & disapointing. DEFINITELY NOT WORTH 10 DOLLARS!!!!!! I was so excited to try it and had it been made right, i think it could have beentruly AMAZING. But sadly, was just a huge let down & a waste of time and $. The right thing to do would have been to remake my order correctly after i returned it & explained what was wrong. Then i would have been able to enjoy a tasty treat & not feel like id been ripped off. Shame on you Roll & Bowl...... shame on you!

When after I ate. This place first, not quality and not tastes good. Second , I ordered Salmons, Hamachi, Tuna, but they put in my bowl I count only few pieces of fishes. And the taste so bad, not fresh, don’t feel good after ate compares with other Pole Bowl restaurant. If owner saw this comment, I want to tells the true, if want business become more customers, need be honesty services, make foods tastes good. If not, will have no customers and close business. I ate out many places, and want to share what I feel, not says means way, but helps to make it better. Every businesses need have customers, because they makes good food and tastes, Everyone are smart way to eat out today, Not trick people to sale your foods.
