Such a great place. Even though the restaurant is more casual dining, the food is so delicious! My favourite dish we ordered was the quesabirria tacos - definitely some of the best tacos I’ve ever had. We also ordered a steak quesadilla, some chips and guacamole and a horchata (very very sweet). The portion sizes are quite big, just note to self. The staff were all friendly, we had a great time. Thank you!

We ordered the Taco Tuesday special of 3 tacos for $12.The portions were more than enough to share. Everything was tasty and the meal was very fulfilling. Service was pleasant with great recommendations from the cashier, Yamilex. The food delivery did not take long and while waiting you can help yourself to the salsas or courtesy water. Ambiance is casual. The food includes chips. All in all, a great spot for great food.

Fabulous fresh dishes, reasonably priced and served with a smile. We got the Wednesday special (two panuchos for $10) and the Ensalada yucateca with pollo verdi. They were both large and delicious, and I especially enjoyed the fresh corn and mandarins in the salad. After we finished, I asked about one of the dishes I hadn't tried (pollo motuleno), and the lovely Lupita gave me a small complimentary taste and told me all about how it is made from achiote. I'll be returning again soon!

They have good burritos and a large selection of salsas. I have been here multiple times and their quality is pretty good. Large vegetarian selection, soy chorizo, tofu, and beans sub.

I admit I went looking for something not on the menu, and when I saw the place I chickened out at asking. It was busy... normally a good sign, except when you're trying to bend the rules. My Google search suggested I could get chili relleno burritos there. They weren't on the menu. The chili relleno plate looked good, and reasonably priced, so I ordered that. The relleno was perfect. Sauce, consistency of the egg coating, charring of the chili: all perfect. But the beans that came with the order were creamed, which I dislike immensely. The rice was seasoned nicely, but was pretty unremarkable otherwise. Finally, the ambiance was sports bar, with tall, narrow tables and barstools. So if that's what you're looking for: all sports bar with excellent Mexican food (except the creamed beans... I just can't) you might give Taqueria Los Mayas 5 stars. I would certainly eat there again, BUT I'll ask if they'll make me a chili relleno burritos first

Decent carne asada super burrito for $16.50. the meat could be higher quality/more season. Overall a decent spot, not super impressive but solid. Good salsas, very nice interior with a bar and TV's

Absolutely horrible atmosphere for black people I felt super uncomfortable being the whole time I'm welcoming uninviting but the food is good I believe the community as a whole was uninviting and uncomfortable not a place I would visit again if it were not for a concert or a little thing with Phora who I'm trying to understand why He's performing at this place over here kind of like in the middle of nowhere in San Francisco but whatever. Answer your question nothing specific happen at the taqueria I was just speaking on the area as a whole.

They were so rude but atleast the quesadilla was good. Do not get the horchata it tastes like powder horchata and syrup. Seriously the worst I ever had and they wouldn’t let me change it for something else .

It was so salty it was almost painful but I still finished most of it. I was gonna give it 4 stars but then I remebered how salty it was. I'm not familiar with the different styles of Mexican foods but I really liked how many different toppings were on the nachos. I never had nachos with carrots in them. If they used like 3 times less of the salt then I would give them 5 stars. The chochinitas was kinda dry but not the worst.

i love this place!!! but i had to post a review because the last 4 burritos i’ve gotten from here were only 2 inches wide with minimal rice, and also no salsa or pico de gallo. every time i order and get these tiny burritos, i get disappointed it keeps happening. ): idk if it’s just shrinkflation, but the burritos weren’t like this before 😭 literally the size of an appetizer 😔

Update: tried to enjoy my meal anyways until I saw pink chicken in mood and if you want to look at and say, "oh well, that's subjective", it's not. you can see white meat right next to the pink meat.... Honestly, good was mediocre at best. I order the mole. Should have known when I ordered that from a order and pay and then go or sit down. I've had over 100 different mole dishes and some very impressive ones at that. This didn't even come close. The beans were literally some kind of paste mixed with water. It literally shines... and then 2 small fried tortillas. I didn't ask for them to be fried and I wasn't asked. Presentation was good though.

Over priced and poor quality. Small portions. Ordered a carne asada panucho. The meat is poor quality. Was more like ground beef and had no flavor. The pozole is tiny and $16. $6 for a salsa size cup of guacamole. See photos.

This place is completely Filthy! Every table we went to try to sit at was disgusting,and covered with the previous customers disgusting leftovers on the table . It was seriously beyond gross with sauces, left over tortillas, etc. on our table. The floors were completely gross, and filthy as well. And, where you are supposed to leave used utensils.... From what I saw, not sure if they even thoroughly washed them, or just recycle them, unwashed, and put them into the bin for customers to re-use, without washing. The food was mediocre, and it looks like they might need to be given some new instructions by the health department. I heard some horror stories about them during the pandemic and their lack of adherence to what was required for restaurants. We found their lack of adherence to any kind of hygiene to be accurate in accordance others' reviews. The workers completely appear apathetic and lazy.. Colibre in the Presidio is an elegant restaurant, with about the same prices, and their restaurant is totally clean, and a real dining experience, rather than a dirty Taquiera experience. Never going there again... not worth it . I was completely grossed out by our dirty tables.
