Comimos un domingo de carta. De primero ensalada variada con foie, espectacular. De segundo cordero al horno y bacalao, ambos dos platos estaban buenisimos... El postre tarta de manzana casera, muy generosa la ración, compartimos y nos quedamos bien... Sin lugar a dudas os recomendamos comer allí y probar la carta... No os defraudará... Comer junto a una fuente pública al lado de la terraza y bajo un plàtan (árboles) con el sonido del agua fue una delícia.

¡Hola! Estuvimos hace un par de semanas comiendo ahí y pedí factura. Todavía sigo esperándola y no encuentro un teléfono de contacto ni nada para pedirla así que no me queda más remedio que hacerlo por aquí. Cuando podáis poneros en contacto conmigo o dadme una forma de hacerlo yo por favor. Gracias!! Ya que estoy aprovecho: Estuvimos en terraza y la zona para el sitio es genial . Es verdad que estuvimos trabajando y no pudimos disfrutar al máximo, pero el arroz recién hecho estaba riquísimo y los chicos que nos atendieron eran super majos. Nos pusieron lo que nos sobró para llevar y pudimos dar buena cuenta de ello más tarde en nuestro apartamento. Encantado de volver y repetir más tranquilo!

We had a lovely experience at Taberna Las Meninas. We shared several traditional Valencian tapas, which were full of flavor and clearly made with quality local ingredients. We also had a rice dish, and it was absolutely delicious — perfectly cooked and very satisfying. Both Gracia took great care of us and made the experience even better with their friendly attitude and professionalism. The atmosphere was warm and authentic, the service was smooth, and the overall quality-price ratio was excellent. A place we would gladly return to and highly recommend.

I had a wonderful experience at Taberna Las Meninas. From the moment we arrived, the service was exceptional — Gracia’s attention and her recommendations truly made the difference and made us feel very welcome. We started with pimientos de padrón, octopus, and some small prawns, all of them fresh and perfectly prepared. For the main course, we tried their paellas, and they exceeded our expectations — full of flavor and clearly made with high-quality ingredients. I can say that we really liked everything — the atmosphere and the service. The young waiter responded very quickly to the guests’ requests. The only thing that slightly disappointed us was waiting an hour for the Paella. But honestly, it only felt disappointing because I was very hungry. After two glasses of wine, everything went quite smoothly. So overall, I can definitely recommend this place for a delicious and atmospheric visit in the middle of the day.

Very good location. The restaurant is next to some fountain, so atmosphere is nice if you sit outside. The seafood paella was excellent! We waited a little while for it, but that can only mean that it was freshly prepared. I’ve never eaten such good tomatoes and mozzarella. And the price is very good. We paid everything about 60 euros for two people. We recommend!

The location is great close to old town but off the path just enough to not have so much traffic. It's set is a small square with a nice little fountain to drown out city noise. The food is great every time I come, and the staff is always friendly and helpful.

Fuimos a cenar y la experiencia fue muy buena. La comida estuvo a la altura, con platos bien preparados y sabrosos, pero lo que realmente marcó la diferencia fue el servicio. Amparo nos atendió de manera impecable: atenta, cercana y muy profesional en todo momento. Gracias a ella la velada fue todavía más agradable. Sin duda, un sitio al que volveremos y que recomiendo.

I didn’t eat meal here, just drinks before dinner. Imagine: beautiful square, magnificent architecture, why not seat down and enjoy your life with a glass of something? Yep, I definitely went for it. Peaceful vibe, and what can go wrong? Not really the fault of cafe, like many others places there were musicians performing and asking after for a pay.. Price wise: 12€ for spritz Aperol , well, judge it for yourself.

Nice place to have dinner. We went there on a Saturday night and it was one of few places with free tables. But it doesn't mean it wasn't good. Paella Valenciana was excellent, good ratio of chicken and vegetables to rice. As a starter we took pimientos Padrón and patatas bravas. Both were very good, but all the food came at the same time. We were so hungry that the starters were supposed to help wait for paella. The service was quite slow for my standards, but normal for Spain. Wine was good. Decent prices.

Orderd a cod fish with mash potato and my friend order another dish with fish which was brilliant although i got nice big fish bones in my portion of fish which should not be there and i swallowed one piece I got lucky and it just went through. It didn't stop there. i got another 6,7 more it just ruined my whole experience. The dish was excellent. fish cook to perfection. Staff apologized for the incident and i wasn't feeling well because i have to eat slow to make sure i do not swallow more. Great location, very nice staff, delicious food. But we need to be careful for fish bones.

Decayó muchísimo la calidad de este sitio, la comida no es mala pero el servicio deja bastante que desear. De tres platos que pedimos, los trajeron con más de media hora de diferencia y sin siquiera ofrecer algo en compensación. Además había algunas cosas del menú qué no estaban disponibles, se ve que no se saben aprovisionar para un fin de semana de mucha demanda.

A tourist trap with disappointing food. The service was fine and the atmosphere was great. The location had shade and live music. But the food was a big let down, especially for my husband of Spanish descent who'd grown up with homemade Spanish food and visited Spain every summer when he was younger. The gambas al ajillo were flavorless and were warm, but not bubbling. The patatas bravas were edible but again, minimal flavor. The only one I could identify was salt. We barely touched the paella—it had no sacorrat (the crispy layer on the bottom) and it was mushy, almost soupy. My husband ended up eating our son's chicken nuggets—which were great. For the price we would've expected much better from the "adult" meals.

The Aperol Spritz was watery. The entricotte steak was so tough that it was vertually inedible. And the meal was expensive.

Después de dos días seguidos comiendo paella, al tercero decidimos no reservar en ningún sitio y comer por ahí. Acabamos en este bar porque había sitio, y quiero dejar claro que mi uno no es relacionado con el servicio de los camareros o el sabor de la comida, sino con la calidad - cantidad -precio. En la carta es verdad que ponía claramente "Tapas" pero habiendo pedido huevos rotos, salpicón de marisco y pimientos asados con ventresca y bacalao y que cada uno costara 12.50€, pues me esperaba que fueran raciones y no tapas. Error. Los huevos rotos estaban bien y la cantidad fue razonable, pero el salpicón supuesto de pulpo, que no era pulpo sino pota, nos lo pusieron en el típico platito donde te ponen aceitunas de tapa (no llegué a hacerle foto) y la cantidad de bacalao de la tapa de pimientos tenía un mordisco por persona. De eso sí hice foto, juzgad vosotros si eso cuesta 12.50€. Entiendo que es una zona turística y los precios son algo más elevados, pero me sentí estafada con las cantidades que nos pusieron con respecto al precio, a mí parecer me parece un robo.

No sé si es que todos los que ponen reseñas son bots pero toda la comida bastante deficiente. Los entrantes como huevos rotos o gambas pueden pasar el aprobado si me pillas en un muy buen día. Las paellas son extremadamente insípidas, con poco arroz, mucha verdura pasada de cocción, etc. Tuvimos que forzarnos a comerla por no tirar comida, pero vamos, por suerte comprendieron que al no estar de nuestro agrado nos descontaban importe de la cuenta.

Paella malísima, típico bar para engañar turistas... Los camareros muy atentos y simpáticos pero la paella fatal... No lo recomendaría y no volveremos...una lastima por qué el restaurante está en un buen sitio y los camareros genial pero la comida nanai más que paella parecía arroz caldoso con pollo.... La ubicación y los camareros muy bien, pero pedimos una bravas picantisimas (si son así creo que por lo menos deberian avisar) y cuando cogíamos sin salsa tenían claramente un regusto a bacalao del mismo aceite reutilizado. Pedimos dos cócteles y nos cobraron 14€ cada uno cuando eran muy muy dulces y con sabor muy artificial. Creo que tiene mucho potencial y no lo aprovechan, como ya han dicho otras personas, es un atrapa turistas totalmente. Dicen que toman nota y harán por mejorar pero todo sigue igual según he leído en otras reseñas. Yo personalmente no volveré.

Dining experience was horrible. As a party of 2 we had a reservation for 10 PM on the new years eve. First we had to wait around 15 minutes to be seated, which is understandable on a busy day, but we had to call the staff again to ask when the seat is going to be ready as we were waiting outside in chilly weather, but they responded with 'ask my manager'. When I asked the manager about our table, she then starter checking our reservation and asked to wait a bit more. The whole time we could see a free table inside the restaurant, which later we were seated at, but I guess the staff didnt care. As we sat at our table we were given some kind of leaflet of new year's menu set, which we were not really interested as we already decided on other menu dishes we wanted to try. Unfortunately the employee that was seemingly serving our section could not communicate in English, which is fine as we all can use Google translate or just gestures, but she was coming to us a few times, we were asking for menu card, she was asking us to wait, then avoiding coming back to us. We had to call the staff several times to help us navigate though the menu, as they couldnt understamd our questions, they just went away and ignored us completely, which was ridiculous. Then we called the server again and showed her pictures of the representative dishes from this restaurant that we wanted to finally order, but she said we cant order it and we can eat only some kind of new years menu. We asked her to recommend something to us, but still couldn't really communicate and navigate through it so we just googled every position and checked online what it could be. As we decided on some positions and called the server back, we showed her the dishes on the menu, but she said we have to order the whole menu set of sereval dishes for 70€ per person, which was insane as almost everyone around us was being served shrimp dish or paella which we also wanted to order. The server said that we cant eat other dishes, because we didnt make a reservation for them, which is again insane as no condition of dish pre-order was stated during making reservation. It was so dissapointing. During our 45-minutes terrible dining experience we only managed to order 2 glasses of white wine wich was 9€ and then we got the hell out of there.

They have a tactic, they put shrimps and peppers added to paella and they charge you for it over 20€ 😅 when you complain to the service, you didn’t order it, they are saying u ate it so u have to pay anyway! It is a scam, what is more, zero customer service, arguing with the client and saying crazy things if you didn’t want it, then you shouldn’t have eaten it 😅plus paella wasn’t that good. The manager on the shift was the worst of all, definitely wouldn’t come back.
