They have a small but fun party area for kids. Food is standard McDonald's food. The restaurant and bathroom we're both very clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. Service was fast and easy.

McDonald's Oceanside, Long Island, New York is amazing place for all families, specially in winter season, because they have a little playground into the place 😀, and the kids enjoy it a lot!!!. LOVELY PLACE 😍 👌 .

Perfect place to spend an hour on a rainy day with kids. My kids love the play area. Workers came around several times to wipe down the empty tables. Food is your typical McDonalds. They were busy when we were there, so the fries were fresh. They still have have self service soda stations which is nice. The library is a 2 minute drive a way if you need to kill more time.

Food is consistent and wait isn’t too bad. Only negative here is while they are technically open until 12am, they typically won’t take any orders past 11:30pm. Also, all McDonald’s should be 24hr service. At least here in NY. COVID lockdowns killed that at most places. This has not been factored into this review however.

My daughter order sandwiches for the family and when she arrived home (in Valley Stream) one sandwich was missing. Nicolas told us to come back to the restaurant and he would take care of it. He kept his word and it was appreciated since it was a twenty plus minute ride to drive back. Great customer service!

Recently renovated. Attentive staff. Play area for the kids. Clean. Food is fast and never cold. I was just here today 4/7/2018 and had an amazing experience. A female. Employee named Henna went above and beyond to ensure we had a excellent experience. She went the extra mile and Checked in with us after she delivered our food to make sure everything was alright and brought us extra sauces etc. Thank you Henna and McDonald's.

The best thing to say about this particular restaurant is how they treat their customers. Mr. Fernando is such a great team member of McDonald’s who will make your experience wonderful. He is so polite and knows how to treat the customers unlike other places. I would highly recommend this place as if you have any issue with your order. They are definitely going to take care of that. Location is super-friendly. Out of all other location that are near this store, this McDonald’s location is by far the best. My three year old daughter is one who loves taking me here not just for a food but also play around with other little kids. Very peaceful and pleasant location.

the morning shift on 10/12/24, around 8:40am, Brianne greeted us in the drive thru with the most positive attitude, was caught by surprise when she was even nicer at the window. honestly it’s hard to come by genuinely kind mcdonalds workers in nyc, it’s things like that, that make people’s day. shoutout to her and the light skin guy (giving out the food) for being good workers.

The drive through was good however, I order a medium fries and half of the bag was empty. I was very disappointed because the amount of fries 🍟was for a small size.

The line was long and they make you wait on the side but still one of the best McDonald's. The fries are always fresh n hot.

First time visiting; very few McDs that has a play area, which is a hit with the kids. Didn't get my receipt when I used the order kiosk, but didn't prove to be a problem getting my order.

Renovation makes it little better than other McDonald's. Mobile ordering, bar countertops, several kiosk to self order. Ample parking outside and seating options inside.

I only really go here during their $1 drinks but it's definitely worth it. The drive-thru attendant is charming and has a cool radio-voice. Initially, wyej he did his standard greeting upon pulling up to the intercom, he was so good at reciting it, that I thought it was a pre-recorded greeting done by a hired voice persona. That alone is worth going for.

Every time I go to the drive-through, you have to park and wait for them to bring the food out to you because the food ain’t ready yet. Sounds like the manager needs to get on the ball

I have gotten coffee from a lot of places, most notable DD and i have never got burned like i did with this mcdonalds coffee. The coffee was good, but I needed a whole water cup full of ice to get it to a drinkable temp. I took the tiniest sip to see if it was too hot and ended up burning the whole inside of my mouth. My tounge & lips swelled up, the insides of my cheeks & lips are now peeling and cracked. The staff was A+ and the place was clean, but y'all really need to evaluate the coffee machines settings.

The lobby was clean and sanitized. Only take out orders allowed for now. Employees were wearing masks and friendly. Had the big breakfast platter, eggs were flavorless but the sausage, hashbrown and pancakes we're great.

So much has changed that I needed to come back and re review. The staff is as nasty as they come. Very childish and unprofessional. We never dine in but this time I didn't have much of a choice. They forgot the waters and the sauces for the 2 happy meals we ordered. What a attitude I got from some female employee behind the counter. Then some other female when to get the waters and was doing some slow walk dancing on her way back. Im usually the type of person the believes in second chances. But not this time. BK and Wendy's are the same distance away.

Hey it's McDonald's you can't really say anything bad about it. You get what you pay for and my only comment is that you're not going to get real food here, 99% of it is processed. We love McDonald's. Not the healthiest, but we still eat it almost weekly. Sadly, this branch we always get has some new crews that are not so good doing their job. We ordered 15 minutes before we arrived, and they guy we asked said it is just preparing when we arrived. I ask what's the purpose of ordering and paying in advance if they have to wait for us before they make it? He just explained that it was preparing upon we arrived. I don't work at McDonald's, but it is common sense that you order and pay in advance, so you expect it to be ready. We waited a good 18 minutes before our food came. Can anyone of this branch explain this situation if that's really the standard procedure now? Cause a few years back, when we order and pay in advance, they will be ready for 15 or 20 mins. Pick up, and it's ready.🤷‍♀️

The workers were wonderful from providing sauces etc as requested, and there was a young man running around making sure people got what they needed. It was a busy day with a party going on, kids everywhere. The store was clean and well maintained. The bathrooms were pretty immaculate, especially for a fast-food place. Though the men's room had run out of paper, someone was waiting to restock it before I could even report the issue. What ever happened to the actual fast-food food? The fries were tasteless cardboard and not hot. The "burger" reminded me of that old commercial, "Where's the beef?" (See photo) and the diet soda had a weird aftertaste. Food sucked except for the pickles which are still tasty. Shout out again to the amazing staff.

First Friday of lent and I'm asked to wait for my fillet of fish sandwiches and pay $11 dollars for 2 large fries, both the sandwiches and fries were stale and you get maybe a quarter slice of cheese on the sandwich, times they are hard .

I gave McDonald's 2 stars 2 years ago and for 2 years I would rather drive elsewhere for my food. 3 months ago I decided to give them a chance switched it to 4 Stars because the quality of the food improved so much but today I went back down to 2 stars. McDonald's lost the 2 stars because although their staff is very nice they lack training in food handling. I watched as the young man who took my order and money opened the bag by shoving his dirty money handling hands in the bag and just when I thought that was nasty the young lady standing next to him kept wiping her running nose with her hands while serving the food for the drive thru..All I kept thinking was thank goodness I came in because little miss piggy is serving drive thru... Yup I'm going back to McDonald's in Lynbrook.

The night staff is incompetent, and sometimes won't even take your order. If you're going for late night food go inside (if they let you) and order on the screens because chances are your order will be all wrong. You'll get charged for what you ordered but get something close or completely different.

Did a pick up order via McDonald's app.. Which was clearly marked ob receipt. Young lady asked me for order#, I stated it was an eat in order. She bagged it and sealed everything with stickers. Pointless, needs to work on listening and reading.

This is the only McDonald’s that this happens at if I drive to Rockville center their ice cream machine is working at this time. Why is that? As it is a McDonalds, it is a quick and relatively inexpensive way to feed my children sometimes. The playground is nice for the kids but it closes at 7pm. The people who work there are nice and for the most part provide good customer service and a clean place to enjoy a meal. My biggest issue and the sole reason it only gets the rating it does, is that they get my order wrong, and this is not an exaggeration, roughly 20-25% of the time. In store, you can go up to the counter and they are kind and will help but a take out order is another deal altogether. It's a shame because it is a nice place.

i ordered a vanilla milkshake, when i got the milkshake there was caramel all inside of it and i’m allergic to caramel, there was random sprinkles and pieces of paper floating on the bottom, they didn’t put any whipped cream on it and it tasted like acid and poison. i’m so upset and i hate this mcdonald’s.

Safety, half gloves and masks on staff! Food is touched by people without gloves and masks have been used as chin covers. In this Covid19 issue, most restaurants are preparing, wrapping, covering and serving hands free! This location is choosing not to. When you have a mask but don't use it, or supply help with gloves that aren't used and you touch their food with your hands, you may be putting our health in jeopardy. You choose, I consider my health when I pay someone to prepare mine and my families food. I will not run the risk, will you?

CHECK YOUR ORDERS! Bunch of air heads that can’t get a simple order right. First 2 times I thought it was a mistake. This is the 4th time I go there and something is missing. The order is simple, 2 Big Macs, one as meal, large with coke and a happy meal. Sometimes it’s a toy missing, sometimes is a happy meal fries, sometimes is a Big Mac missing, sometimes it’s a Diet Coke instead of regular coke. It’s a joke! I agree with the other reviews, I been in the inside of this store and found 3 out of 5 visits there was sticky goo all over the floor by the soda machine (kids probably split the sodas) napkins were stuck and all over the floor. My sneakers were sticking and making that sound as you took steps. the size of the burgers have gotten so small, and as the other reviewer you are correct the BIG mac sound be renamed the big mac...as it shrunk in size almost 50% ( you should watch the documentary..."super" size me to find MacDonald's adds too much salt and sugar (yep...sugar the fries and buns...really good for you. If Mayor Bloomberg wants us to drink 16oz of sugary sodas only, he should tell MacDonald's, they have to omit adding the extra sugar to their products like burgers, fries...to keep it in the soda and ice cream/coffee... YOU have to re check your orders even from the counter....I ordered 4 hamburgers with NO cheese (as my husband is Lactose intolerant) with 2 big macs 2 orders of large fries, and 2 double cheese burgers (for my son). I figured it was packaged correctly...but when my husband unwrapped his...he found they all were cheese burgers. He tried to take off the cheese...but it was too hard to....so i took them back and had to wait 20 minutes. By the time I got back the fries of my own meal was ice cold... I am not sure but it seems the magic is lacking it's old prestigious luster and seems the workers are no longer interested in selling a Good quality product but more so in HOW many $$$ they sell.

I ordered a 20 piece nugget a mcrispy and large fries on my order when I got my order they forgot my fries the nuggets tasted old and not fresh and the mcrispy had a lot of fat in it

I went to the drive through for two large Diet Cokes and one large coke. I’m diabetic so when I picked up the beverages, I specifically asked, “Two large Diet Cokes and one large coke?” and was told yes! When I got home, I had ONE large DIET COKE and TWO LARGE COKES! This is totally unacceptable!!!!!

Went there at 11:35, 25 minutes before they advertise that they close, to be told that they are closed in a rude manner by someone who clearly didn’t want there clean up to get interrupted so that they could leave on time. This is the only McDonald’s that we’ve come across in Nassau county that has their playground closed, until 11am which isn’t fair, bc some of us bring our little ones to play, since everyone knows toddlers schedules are diff from bigger kids. I came with my toddlers ( 3 and 2yo ) to bring them to actually play in the play area, have lunch, then home, and they wouldn’t open the playground, we got there a little before 10am, what playground is closed! Which shocked me bc this McDonald’s has a play area for a reason ! Very unhappy with them. I asked one of the Spanish women and she didn’t explain Just replied with a “nope!” Very rude. I was so hurt by my kids wanting to play and they had it locked. Shame on them! Just like any toddler/baby, My toddlers were not going to sit still and wait in the dining area for an hour! And just stare at the playground . They’re ridiculous. Shame on them. Do things better and make it make sense !!! Foul play on them, had to tell my other mommy friends not to bring their kiddies here. We left did not eat there and have to go all the way to Baldwin where that McDonald’s does keep it open. Don’t coke to Oceanside McDonald’s with little kids in the am, they’re too lazy to open the play area, like if they’re acting like they gotta watch your kids 🙄.

Check your order. I am not sure what is up with this place. This is my local McDonalds. The place looks nice and clean. The staff is somewhat friendly. The staff I think lack training on basic customer service. The issue is the drive thru 9 out of 10 times I visit, they get the order wrong. I always have to pull up and wait. Went to the drive thru at 11:15pm. I waited about 5 minutes and no one said anything. I then drove to the window to get waved away! They were closed! Better change your hours since it states you're open until midnight! I always have issues coming here. Go to another if you don't want to be treated like garbage.

Staff was rude, slow, and couldn't handle getting the order correct. We had to go up 3 different times after noticing something else missing. We also waited 25 minutes for our food inside. Then when we asked for honey mustard, I stood at the counter for 5 minutes waiting to be acknowledged. Two staff members kept looking at me, when finally asked what I needed, they both walked away and nobody even looked for the honey mustard. I was shocked with the service here, it's unfortunate too because they have a big play area. Which was the reason we went there- and it was closed...

This location has made me frequent McD's far less. I'll take a break for months, give em' another chance, and once again. didn't receive items. I left my job to get food, placed an app order, was on the drive through line for 15 min, then they direct 4 cars in a row to the reserve spots to wait for another 10 min, and not get my nuggets, got my sauce though, which is ironic because they have forgot the sauce multiple times that I check, saw them and would assume nuggets would be in the bag, nope. I called, oh come back, I'm at work and I can't leave to go and wait for food, again. I work with 50 people at a large County plant and we all have the same opinion, stay away and go to Burger King down the road! This place sucks. The workers kept poking what looked like fingernail holes through the wrappers of my food. The staff have an attitude problem if you have a complaint about the condition you received your food in or even if you simply try to inform them that the toilet seat in the bathroom is quite literally detached. And god forbid you work a summer job nearby and become somewhat of a regular for cheap meals during your lunch breaks; you will become one of their favorite topics for gossip.

Another time we order a plain hamburger with no sauce...they gave us a burger with ketchup all over it. the worker tried to say that the plain hamburger has ketchup.
