We got a Detroit Style Pizza from here and it was really good. The cheese and toppings didn't go all the way to the edges like they're supposed to though so maybe they were having an off night.

What is good pizza if not for the sauce? I highly recommend the margarita and eggplant parm slices for that reason, but if you're not a sauce lover, the bruschetta slice is cheesy and tangy in a magical way.

Just grabbed a buffalo slice and jamaican beef patty from this gem. The owner is great and is a local to the community. Very nice man. The zeppoles are to die for as well! Definitely check it out!

I wish I could give this place a 100 stars. Pizza was out of this world, fresh, beautiful crust and the sauce was just beautiful. Just tried the cheese slices but will definitely be back for more. The place was CLEAN. Restroom, Front area, everything. The guy at the counter was super nice. He was very sweet and greeted me with a smile, I just had 5 bucks on me since I left my wallet in my car. The total came out to $5.45 and I told him to let me go find change in my car or grab my debit card from my car. Without hesitating he said "you owe me 45 cents, have a nice day". I think sometimes when you interact with positive people it makes your day. Will definitely come back to spend more and to obviously return the 45 cents.

ASAP Pizza Spot is the best neighborhood pizza place, hands down. Their pizzas are amazing, always fresh and bursting with flavor. The owner is the kindest person you’ll ever meet—so welcoming and friendly. When we went there last night, he even gave us some fried dough on the house, which was such a nice surprise. It’s the perfect place to grab a great meal and feel right at home.

I was late for a date and running on fumes. Walked into the first pizza place I saw, hoping to get something in me to get through the night. What I got was so much more. For $3.00 I had the best slice Astoria has to offer. The cheese was so gooey it practically fused together when I folded it. Each bite was better than the last. Only regret is not getting that second slice.

This pizza almost convinced me to impulsively move to New York. But it wasn't just about how fantastic the slices tasted-- it was the whole experience. My friend and I immediately felt like we were befriended by Nick, the owner, who would occasionally interrupt his conversation to wave to people in the neighborhood. We could tell he's a meaningful presence in his community. He gave us the best seats in the house and also threw in some zeppoles for free :) Besides that-- the pizza was incredible. Ordered a whole Cheese Pizza pie, which was palatable, but cannot be classified as authentic NYC Pizza.

In many other places where I’ve had pizza in New York — including in Astoria — the pizzas were cheaper and better. The place is very small and uncomfortable, and there’s not much of a selection either.

The pizza is average and the garlic knots are average as well. I would not come back here but I like to try every pizza place one time. This place does not deserve a 4.7 rating maybe 4.2 maximum. This is based on the taste of the food (which is all that matters)
