Really enjoy coming to this place often with friends and family. Love there spicy French fries 🤤
The fried and potato momos are a must try! 😍
breakfast set is lovely, their momo's are ranked no.1 in Momo crawl, its small and has indoor seatings. Do visit and try their breakfast sets.
Maybe the best beef momos I've ever had. Excellent service. Already planning a trip back for those momos! The beef lo mein was also delicious!
I will always return to Om Wok after discovering it through my quest for the best chicken dumplings. Thank heavens I had the steamed chicken dumplings there; they were delicious.
Its a great experience! They food is very worth with the price and they have special momo that they make it diffrently. I also ordered the fried rice its delicious overall i rate it 8.5, and the server kunsang very helpful with the recommendations.
Great breakfast set and best momo
I love the momos and honey chicken! I highly recommend eating here. Like others have mentioned, the restaurant had won the momo crawl award for their momos
Their momos are quite large and juicy. Very satisfying. Loved the alo phing sha; tingmos are large and fluffy, and the cucumber salad is to die for. Perfectly seasoned with a peanut topping.
Visited from Vancouver and it was love at first bite. Momos, fried rice, munchurian THE BEST. Didn't miss Delhi.
Seriously delicious. Incredible, juicy momos. If you can handle spicy, go for it. Everything was cooked to perfection. Really, really happy !
My go to place for beef momo.
Great food a good prices. Service is slower than other locations so be prepared to wait a little longer than you are accustomed to. Food is very fresh and always tasty.
Food was very delicious, specially the momos. Service is very good. Leing fing could have been lesser spicy.
Amazing service and food also taste good worth visiting. I’ll recommend thenthuk and Momo. Thanks for the service ☺️
Nice place with great food.
Visited while doing a food crawl with friends, had the beef momo only but it's clear why it is the momo crawl champion.
One the best restaurants and food delicious and excellent service I recommend everyone who like to Tibetan cuisine this is best one
Best dumplings I ever ate. Order twice during my stay in New York!
Best restaurant in Jackson height . They have the best momo and shabaklap. The waiter was so nice and friendly
Hands down, Juiciest Momo in town!!! Their Momos are huge, almost double the size of other places. The place can be crowded for dine in since it's always busy and has limited seating capacity.
Best momos ive had in the area and the Kai chi wings are incredible (also very spicy) I have lived in queens for 8 yrs and eaten all around the borough. I can say with certainty that Om Wok is 1 of the best!
Small business but very much so Quality restaurant food and service. Don’t leave without ordering steamed mo mo!! The chicken ones are Great and even the beef ones are so flavorful. Beef mo mo is nice and round which I love. Obsessed
I recently had the pleasure of dining at this Tibetan restaurant and I must say, it was an incredible experience. The servers were exceptionally friendly and went out of their way to ensure that i had a wonderful dining experience. As for the food, it was absolutely delicious. Each dish was bursting with authentic flavors and cooked for perfection. From the fragrant momos to the flavorful Tibetan noodles, every bite was a true delight. I would highly recommend this Tibetan restaurant to anyone looking for a unique and flavorful experience. The combination of friendly servers, delicious food, and charming ambiance makes it a perfect 10/10 in my book. Dont miss out on this hidden gem!
The moment I walk in, I'm struck by the warm and welcoming ambiance, which makes me feel right at home. The staff ladies are attentive and discreet, making sure I have everything I need without being intrusive. Special mention to Tashi, who always greets me with a warm smile and makes me feel valued and comfortable. Her hospitality and kindness truly make a difference! I've made it a habit to call in and pick up breakfast from OM Wok Restaurant every time I visit my mom in Queens, and I always look forward to it! Their Tibetan dishes are simply delicious, and I've had the opportunity to try their breakfast options, momos, shabaley, and shapta, which are all expertly prepared and bursting with flavor. My mom is a huge fan of Tibetan food and a very picky eater, but she loved the Tibetan dishes from this establishment. What I love most about OM Wok Restaurant is that they serve authentic and comforting Tibetan dishes that are both flavorful and satisfying. The service is top-notch. Whether you're in the mood for a hearty and comforting meal, OM Wok Restaurant has got you covered. If you're craving Tibetan food, look no further than OM Wok Restaurant. Highly recommended! ***Chocho Cool 😎 ***
I give this place 10/10 because of the momos. Really tasty & it’s also affordable. Very clean and I recommend people to go there to get delicious beef momos. They give you 8 pieces. It’s worth it.
Omg!!!!! I can’t explain how good the chicken momos was. It was so fresh, delicious and juicy. I am so glad I decided to check this place out. I think this is so far the best momos I have ever tried. We will definitely be back again.
This is one of my favorite restaurants that I have found in New York.
Quality Tibetan food in a cozy family run restaurant. Ordered Chili pork, paneer, bok Choi and Cho mien and the flavors and spice were all fantastic. Will return again. Thanks
Food is always gas. Momo so good and juicy it squirted on me. Phenomenal. Fried rice was good. Breakfast thali is such a banger would def recommend.
The hand pulled noodle soup and the momos were amazing!! Brought my family who never had Nepali food and we’re all so impressed with our meals!!! I’m coming back for sure
Small restaurant with limited seating, but the food is great. Momos are juicy and full of ground meat and veggies
I visited first time in OM wok restaurant, I try so many momos in Jackson Heights, this one is the best momos I had ever ate. The size and filling is so big, serving fresh and delicious with red hot chili paste. Beef thentuk is awesome, I highly recommend this place to eat and take away. Really price worth it . You won’t regret. They sell kapse (Tibetan pastry) is also delicious. 🙏
My curiosity was peaked at the potential of having good beef Momos (which are not small), and I was not disappointed! I also had a beef dish with peppers and onions that was excellent with nuanced flavors. As well as really good food, the service is excellent. The staff here is super friendly and are happy to help with dish selection. Depending on the dish, if you’re sensitive to heat, they will be happy to turn down the spices and make the dishes more mild. Lovely, eating experience, not to be missed!
Om Wok came highly recommended as one of the main restaurants I should visit during the Momo Crawl. In fact, I was eating momos at Nepali Bhanchha Ghar. A young woman sitting next to me said she had gone to 18 different restaurants during the Momo Crawl and although Nepali Bhanchha Ghar had won the competition 4 years in a row, she said Om Wok was her favorite. I didn't have much room left in my stomach, but I knew I had to try the beef momo at Om Wok. The restaurant is a bit difficult to find. It's not on Roosevelt Avenue as the address states but on 41st street. It's a small restaurant with very little inside seating. However they do have a few tables outdoor as well. The beef within the beef momo was one of the best I ever tasted. It was juicy and delicious. The wrapper was thin and not too chewy. Delicately made. I also ordered a Thai iced tea which was amazing. Definitely one of the best ones I've had in awhile. As my friend and I were enjoying our beef momos and Thai iced teas, there started to be a lot of commotion coming towards the restaurant. We were wondering what's going on? Out of 31 momo restaurants in Jackson Heights, Om Wok won the popular vote as the best one for 2022. It was memorable to be there as the staff was notified and given a Momo championship belt. So make sure you try these award winning momos!
after hearing this place won the first position in Momo Crawl competition , I wanted to give it a try for chicken momo. Definitely did not disappoint me. The filling is juicy with vegetables and soup. They do not have a special "momo sauce " but the premade regular table spice goes well too. overall nice ambience and great momos 👌
When Your Taste Buds Go on a Himalayan Adventure 🏔️🍵 Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Picture this: You’ve just conquered freeze walking in this amazing Corona Park with your bestie, you’re absolutely starving, and suddenly you stumble upon authentic Tibetan heaven with an Indian twist. That was my morning, and WOW, what a delicious discovery! The Himalayan breakfast thali was everything my hungry soul needed—authentic, flavorful, and incredibly satisfying. But can we talk about the TEAS? The Tibetan salt tea and Indian chai were so mind-blowingly good that I shamelessly ordered THREE servings. Zero regrets, people. ZERO. 🙌 If you’re craving something genuine, comforting, and utterly delicious, this place is your answer. Your taste buds will thank you, and you might just find yourself becoming a regular like I’m about to! Pro tip: Come hungry and definitely don’t skip the tea situation. You’ve been warned (in the best way possible)! ☕✨ Also, I got to see the chef - a young Tibetan man who gave us this joy. Thank you for such a taste of home and would highly recommend everyone to try this if they are in Queens neighborhood and dying for a Tibetan breakfast!
Highly recommended! Decided to try this spot out after seeing that it won 1st place in momo crawl! Congratulations! Small cozy spot with 5 tables, each seats about 4 people. Got the fried momo, vegetable fried rice and puri platter with 2 sweet chai (tea). One server throughout but she was great, place was packed. We waited about 5 mins, most eat and go for a Wednesday lunch. $43 plus tip. Will be back for lunch!
Highly recommend this spot for Tibetan-Style breakfast. The chili fries were an unexpected hit. The space is a bit small and it gets crowded quickly, so small-ish groups are better suited for the space.
My boyfriend and I were in Jackson Heights looking for a quick lunch when he mentioned craving Tibetan food. I searched "Tibetan restaurant" on Google, and Om Wok popped up as the top spot nearby, so we decided to check it out on a whim. He ordered the breakfast platter, which came with a puri set—fresh, puffy Himalayan bread served with chutney and a flavorful gravy. The puri was fresh out of the frying pan, crispy on the outside and soft inside. Even on its own, it was delicious, but when paired with the chutney and gravy, it was absolutely satisfying. We also ordered both the fried beef momos and the steamed chicken momos. The fried beef momos were incredible—crispy on the outside and soft and chewy on the inside. When I bit into one, the flavorful juices literally oozed out. The filling was seasoned beautifully with green onions and spices, and the dough-to-filling ratio was just right. The steamed chicken momos were equally delicious—tender, juicy, and full of flavor. We were so glad we tried both versions because each brought something special. Their house chili sauce took everything to the next level. Even though it was a hot summer day, we decided to try their butter tea—and we were so glad we did. I had tried butter tea once before and found it too salty, but Om Wok's version was perfectly balanced. The saltiness was subtle and just right, and the tea itself was rich and flavorful. Despite the heat outside, it was incredibly enjoyable. What surprised us the most was how good everything was for a spot we stumbled into. It’s a humble little place, but the food was excellent from start to finish. I even looked it up later and saw that they’re available on Postmates and Uber Eats—so we know exactly where to go next time our momo cravings hit. Easily some of the best momos we've had!
Went for the Himalayan set with both puri and Tibetan bread—puri stole the show (crispy, perfect dough). Aloo Dum was top tier—can’t go wrong with potatoes. Thenthuk noodle soup was good and C-momo? Massive! Liked it way more as leftovers—extra saucy and flavorful. They won the Momo Crawl in 2022 and 2023!
Hands down one of the best asian food I’ve ever eaten. The staff is very welcoming and would suggest you what to order if you dont. This place has consecutively won the Momo Crawl and I can understand why. They serve epic momos with authentic Tibetan spicy chutney with it. The noodles are delicious and lip smacking. Would definitely recommend this place and I would be visiting it soon!
Food 9/10 Those momos were so so juicy and BIG. I was shocked. I think this was the first time I’ve ever had momos, so I was in for a beautiful meal. Their friend momos were also good, but they were dumpling shaped rather than soup dumpling round shaped. Still good, but I preferred the steamed ones. Beware, their spice is truly spicy. We ordered the cold cucumber and also mung bean noodles, and both absolutely destroyed me in their explosive flavor but also deadly spice. I kept on wanting more but my tears were welling up and nose started sniffling. I think the owner / host saw me and it was kind of funny because she kept on refilling my water. Atmosphere 8/10 A very homey local restaurant vibe in Elmhurst. Felt like a neighborhood restaurant, and I love that. Service 8/10 Great service, nothing to complain about!
Me and hubby came here for dinner and enjoyed the food and warmth with which we were served. The lady at the reception is very sweet and helpful. The beef momos are big and juicy. Portion sizes are large. We ordered chicken fried rice and beef momos, couldn’t finish the rice and took it home. Highly recommend
We visited both the OM Wok, where the scrumptious momos were particularly juicy. They are renowned for their momos, which are notably large. The customer service is exceptional, providing a very cozy and friendly atmosphere. One suggestion I would make is to incorporate more natural elements, such as plants, to create a more relaxing and vibrant ambiance. Highly recommend if you are in Jackson Heights, Queens, NY
Great family run spot in Jackson Heights. Everything from the breakfast platter to the beef chili is fantastic. Must try the beef momo’s - easily the best in NYC.
At first a bit worried bc $10 seems a bit pricey for momos, but these were HUGE! The meat filling is really big and really flavorful and was also super juicy on the inside. The skin itself was not bad but some momos had quite a thick skin so some parts were quite doughy. This also came with a delicious spicy sauce that is actually really spicy and gives and extra punch of heat to the dish. Overall really impressed and totally understand why they'd been rated best momos in Jackson Heights!
I love this place. It's a cheap eatery go to for us after work out. Everything is super tasty. They make great hot lemon ginger tea, on a cold night it hit the spot. Maybe momo can be little less doughy. But can't complain, owner is super nice and makes us feel like home.
Hands down my favorite restaurant in Jackson heights. The waitress did a terrific job with giving me solid recommendations. They offer some of the best tasting spicy foods. In the mood for something saucy? Try one of their curry dishes. Vegetarian? Get paneer. And you can never go wrong with the Momo's!
Absolutely loved my breakfast experience here! The portions were generous and truly satisfying. The blend of authentic Tibetan and Indian flavors made every bite a delight. The ambiance was lovely, and the service was top-notch. Definitely a must-visit for a fulfilling breakfast!
I didn’t knew spicy fries were a thing, it was 🔥🔥 also Momo’s were super juicy and flavorful. Absolutely loved the food and not to mention the server was really great.

Food was so so good but no vegetables in chili momo??
my go-to momo spot! steamed beef momo and potato momo are must haves. also recommend getting spicy laphing, shapta, and tingmo to be transported to nepal. they also have frozen momo if you wanna take them home.
Small restaurant with limited seating, but the food is great. Momos are juicy and full of ground meat and veggies
Momos are tasty and big but the filling is a bit loose.
Love their steam momo very juicy and flavorful but they can do better for chilly momo. It was ok and too much food coloring. I’ll recommend to try their shabhaklep. Really good and portion is also great for pricing.
Tiny place limits of seat. But food is amazing
This was our 2nd time visiting Om Wok, this visit to again sample their momo during the 2025 annual momo crawl. These momo are larger than most, with a moist filling with a bit of savory broth which can almost be compared to a soup dumpling. Delicious! The staff and owner are kind, hard working and passionate about their momo and other dishes. A small, intimate place. We would not hesitate to return to have more momo and sample other dishes. Congratulations to Om Wok for being the champions in the 2025 momo crawl!!
A very authentic Tibetan restaurant in Jackson heights, the owner and waitress were warm and welcoming. The food is yummy and tasty, just adds up it's a bit spicy 🔥

Dining here is a delight, but the final bill is a complex equation. Between sales tax, credit card surcharges, and gratuity, the 'New York premium' is in full effect. Be prepared for a total that significantly transcends the menu price.
For several months since moving to the neighborhood I enjoyed going to Om Wok on 78th for a quiet peaceful breakfast before work and a quiet tea and meal after work. I loved finding the place because I did human rights work in Dharmsala in 1989-1990 and studied Buddhism in college and it brought back good memories. It became my go to restaurant. The staff was wonderful and treated me with lots of kindness and respect- like a neighbor and friend not like a “customer”. I started learning the Tibetan language and practicing it with the staff who told me where to go to get books on the Tibetan language and culture and on Buddhism. I started inviting my friends to meet me there and I started handing out menus and business cards for the restaurant to my friends looking for a quiet respectful environment in a very noisy neighborhood and city. But recently lots of disrespectful young people have come in and change the TV channel from quiet Tibetan chanting to loud sexually oriented Himalayan videos. So now the restaurant is often very noisy and stressful like the neighborhood around it. This afternoon when I came in for tea and a meal and mentioned this to the wonderful staff a very rude and disrespectful young customer told me “it’s part of our culture to watch these videos. If you don’t like it you can leave”. I didn’t react - just walked right out because I don’t like being in a restaurant where other customers are aggressive, rude, and disrespectful. One very respectful Tibetan woman who I befriended in my several months of going there observed the incident told me later I should go to Phayul on 37-65 74th Street a few blocks away for a dining experience without loud sexually oriented TV. I politely thanked her and plan to go there instead since I prefer a quiet respectful place to eat, converse with friends and neighbors, read and relax.
The server lied to us and has a terrible attitude. Very poor service; I won’t be returning.
Very Bad food & worst service. After eating the food, me & my all of friends have problem in stomach. Do not go there
The quantity of the purchased item doesn’t match with the amount of dollars that we pay especially when we order online and also the items were not sent as per the order …for example Ginger honey lemon tea and green tea is replaced and they sent sweet tea which is not in the order at all… thanks and be careful when doing online order
I always order through uber eats and the staffs are so horrible never do as asked. Very unprofessional people working there. You guys don't read the orders well. Horrible staff
The worst customer service ever , the receptionist doesn’t know how to talk to customer and carry bad attitude.
We ordered food for dine-in, but when we arrived, the server had already packed everything to-go. We were okay with the mix-up and respected the restaurant’s policy about not serving once food is packed. What wasn’t okay was how rude and aggressive the server girl was. She immediately snapped, claiming she told me over the phone—when I had her on speaker and my friends clearly heard otherwise. She kept pushing her point, trying to make me feel like I was lying, which was completely uncalled for. Her attitude was nasty, defensive, and completely unprofessional. I used to be a regular here, but thanks to her, I won’t be coming back. The owner needs to seriously reevaluate who they’re hiring. That woman needs customer service training or a different job altogether.
Food is delicious but the customer service was worse. The cashier lady should know how to speak to customer and have a good conversation. Very Rude and have a lots of attitude, should learn how to speak to customers.
I always order through uber eats in the morning and puri set’s & Himalayan sets. But today i made a request stating i dont want boiled eggs, ema dasthi & chutney. Instead can i get extra aloo curry? I called the store at 8:45am to confirm my request and the young lady said “they dont switch”. It’s very disappointing that they cannot even make some adjustment for their regular customers.
Ordered 2 orders of shabhaklep. The beef inside is raw- uncooked!!!! This is so disappointing! Update: The restaurant kindly fixed the issue and send over 2 orders of shabhaklep. And this time they were cooked perfectly! They were delicious too!

They had staple pin in the potato Momo and also in the paneer of chilly paneer. I found one staple pin in my mouth while eating chilly paneer. Never recommend the place. Have to do something with the quality check.
