Went with a friend to get some food last night and we sat down . The very petite slim girl I think she always wear her lips. She’s always so sweet and always so nice. Every single staff member we encountered was professional, warm, and clearly well-trained. Water glasses were refilled before we noticed they were empty. Plates were cleared seamlessly. Our server described the specials with actual knowledge and enthusiasm, not just reciting from memory. Ok so, this is gonna be long. Ok so I'm a Jamaican and usually stay away from Jamaican restaurants because lately they seem to be cutting corners. I'm a chef and from the old school of real Jamaican cuisine. That being said, the food here has flavor, some dishes are way better than others. The thing I don't like, is the outrageous prices for such small plates. I get it, people gotta make money but when you give your customers a little more, they come back often. Also, the waitress is nice but need training on timing. Bring utensils first and if its a couple, bring both meals together, not bring one plate then 10 minutes later you bring the other.. I like the mature Reggae music played while eating on Friday evening. Oh a live band at 10pm but different genre of music so could be socca , reggae or whatever . I prefer the reggae band. Now after the band finished, the DJ ticked me off. I hate when him cut upp the music after 5 seconds. People were upset about that. Dj could be ok but have no clue how to watch the floor. If see mature people, run the music n stop the cutting up and play the song Dem. Chu man. Me vex and leff. Hellooooooo. adults spend money suh if music nice people wi spend cause Dem dance and sweat. Ok so, i went into details n hopefully the owner reads this and edit as necessary cause my presence can expand your establishment if you listen. Great location , with some adjustments this place could sell aff. I do this for a living, go into businesses, assess whats , great and what needs adjustments and make suggestions. Get it done !! I came here with friends on Karaoke night. First I would like to say the prices on the food menu are astronomical. I didn't order food I didn't care to spend, so much on a mere plate of Jamaican food. Drinks, well they were $15 I asked the girl for grenadine, they didn't have any I asked the girl to shake my drink, she looked at me puzzled. I guess this was the owner a woman in stretch pants and sweatshirt and let me know she should not be serving drinks so she doesn't have the equipment. She was rude about it too. Get the proper documents for your establishment. I didn't care for this place.

This place is extremely unprofessional and dishonest. My friend bought a birthday dinner package that included a 3 course meal; we only received an appetizer and a meal. Alcoholic drinks were not included; I ordered one and thus at the time of leaving, asked for my bill. They charged me for the meal and for my drink and ALSO charged my friend for my meal. We tried communicating with them and they were unresponsive and refused to give me the money back. The food is good but it’s management is completely out of order and dishonest. They have definitely lost my business and that of my friends.

So I can't commit on the food cause I never got to eat. What I can talk about is the service. Specifically, the bartender. She was rude, aggressive, and condescending. Take your money elsewhere . Worst experience I've ever had!
